Ideas for a Christmas/Holiday Challenge!

It's a question, actually. If we do the Twelve Xmas Positions challenge thingy... what's for Valentine's? Will this replace V-day's challenge?

I was thinking of doing the 12 Sexual positions for the Holidays. In other words, it could span from mid Nov to mid Feb - and cover Thanksgiving thru V-day.

And yes, if we did this, I think we'd be replacing the Church of Lemons with this challenge. So, consider that when you voice an opinion.

Caliborn, I bet I CAN cattle prod you into more activity.

As for the 12 themes deal on the 1xR comm, that's separate from the other challenges.

1xR comm will have the 12 themes, which has a new theme introduced every week through 1/8/06.

BI will have a 1-theme Xmas challenge to run from Nov 1 to Jan 31 regarding cuddling (we need a title), and maybe a line or two for authors to try to work into their challenge fic.

LoveReflection will have a 12 sex positions challenge which can also be archived here in a special login-required forum (or we can do the Church of Lemons) which would run from approx 11/15 - 2/21 in which we'd post all the themes at the beginning of the challenge, and maybe take signups (pledges) of who will write what theme. I think we're going to go back to 1xR only this year, unless people want to convince me otherwise.

Does that cover everything?

White day is the reverse of Valentine's Day - in Japan. So, basically, in Japan, Valentine's Day is where girls give the guy they like chocolate. And on White Day, the guy is supposed to give the girl a present in return.

And I don't think I was outlawing drabbles. Just, not requiring drabbles.

I envy you, wicked! Very seldom can I write fics without thinking them out in length beforehand. @.@ Plus, I'm too wordy for drabbles!

*chuckles* Oh I rarely ever think/plan anything I write beforehand. I just sorta...go. Then get stuck. Or lose interest. Or something. But yeah, to be quite honest, I rarely have to think or use my brain when I write. It's probably why I don't write all that much, or I don't like what I write when I do. Except for Yuy-Bear. That was priceless even in my eyes.

I can so drabble! I can drabble rilly gud! And name one time when my drabbles exceeded the limit!! Or not. Don't even think about it now. But I can drabble!

And since there was no actual vote, except that there was, I say/said, "Oh yeah. Trowa's ass is mine." Erk! I mean, I said, "ZOMG GIMME DA DRABBLE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY!"

We were watching an old war-movie flic. ^_^; Notice no punctuation? I think it would be fun to let authors take certain lines and punctuate them to mean whatever they wanted.
