okay, so the guy isn't joining BI, but I have another question. Okay, people think this guy and I have crushes on each other. I've since discovered that he is just a really good friend, and I wouldn't want to jeapordize that, especially since he is in it deep (emotionally and well physically too....) with his girlfriend. Am I supposed to back off? I mean, I will be like 4 hrs away now...but we are going to be playing EQ together. Any suggestions on how to dispell rumors (oh, and his girlfriend hates me)

things I do to relieve tiredness:
sleep
take a nap
lay down
eat
watch TV
bubble baths (but don't doze off and drown in the tub!)

I don't really know his gf. She goes to a different school. She used to go to mine, but she transferred or something. And I think she is jealous. She is very possessive and gets angry if he talks to any other girl. I don't think she should be selfconcious about the relationship because he seems pretty serious about it. She gets jealous if we do stuff together and she told him that he couldn't go fishing with me if he worked 15 minutes late on a night when you are lucky to get out 30 minutes late.Mellie sounds like that guys gf is jealous of your relationship with him...is she really that self concious on their relationship?

The only thing to relieve stress is to is to chill. See, everything has to follow a cycle: Activity-Rest, or Action-Rebuild. You need to set aside time to relax. Do something purely recreational. For example, I'm in the anime club at my college. At this time, I chill, hang out, talk to people who have the same class load, and (of course) watch anime. Becuase it requires nothing from me, and is mostly for enjoyment, it helps relax and get through the rest of the weak. And remember: Stress doesn't cuase anything. It just weakens you and makes you more susceptible to other things (like tiredness).
As for the tiredness: The vast majority of the human race requires 8 hrs per night of sleep. You should fall asleep in roughly 20 min. If it takes less than ten, you are suffering from exhaustion. If it takes more than 25, you have sleep onset insomnia, which is cuased by worry. Don't sleep more than ten hours or you could suffer from sleep apnea, which means you aren't getting enough oxegen. (You don't breath as much when you sleep.) You shouldn't have more than 2 minor disturbances while sleeping. (A minor disturbance is like turning over, or just barely regaining wakefulness.) If you are basically okay in these respects, you might have stage 4 sleep deprivation, meaning you aren't going into the deeper levels of sleep. This could be for several reasons, such as over-thinking, which also cause sleep on-set insomnia. Try writing down your thoughts before going to sleep. Also, warm milk has a chemical called Tryptophan which can help you fall asleep. Chocolate contains cerotonin, which is the chemical your body produces to help you sleep. (INcidentally, with over 300 natural and beneficial chemicals, the only bad thing in chocolate is sugar which will make you fat if you eat to much.) So eat a little chocolate to see if that helps.
Another cuase could be diet. If you are getting your energy through artificial means, you will burn out more quickly. Get your energy through complex carbo hydrates, like fruit. Grapes, apples, etc., are all good sources. You can look more up. If you think you may be in the process of a burn-out, let me know so I can tell you the symptoms. Hope this helps

Oh, and Mellie. In the end it is his decision on what to do. You can't change his mind, and you can't change hers. Yeah, his girlfriend sounds like a b****h, but if he is serious about it there is nothing you can do. Just continue to be his friend no matter what, but don't force him to choose: that would be cruel. And as his friend, you have to be willing to take the back-burner. A romantic relationship tkaes more time and attention than a friendship; that's just the nature of these things. After all, who sees him more, you or her? If she's goes to another school, one could assume it to you. Then how would you feel in her place? You are obviously special, and good friends ending up together are all too common. She has a reason to be worried. At a different school, she has very little control over the situation, and far less acsess than you. You're specil to him, and you know him better, and that can be very threatening to anyone. Now she may be over reacting, but then, you might not understand. If you want to solve this, don't go to him, or your friends, or even us. Gop to her, and talkto her. BE CIVIL. You both care about him, so you can find common ground there.
