*stops breathing* POTO?! You listen to Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman?! Oh yes, indeed, I agree with you that a lot of inspiration comes from that musical, espcecially when Erik sings...

Has it occured to you that there is a running theme with soundtracks helping writers to get over obstacles? I'm starting to question whether it's the 'story' that intrigues us and the music is just there to reinforce it, or could it be the range of musical scores that heightens our senses and thus allowing us to start writing again?

Sorry, just random babbling here.

Yep. I have a vast collection of movie soundtracks. (Some took me forever to find.) Favourite composers are John Williams, James Horner, Alan Silvestri & Craig Armstrong. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Calla, you're not rambling... I so agree with you. I listen to Sarah Brightman, and other classical songs; it's the just feel of that song, how it lifts you and takes you with it... for instance: Clint Mansell - Requiem For A Dream, Lux Aeterna... gorgeous songs, specially Lineage II - Outro...

They have power behind the music, and it draws the writer, usually in some cases, most in others like me , and funnily enough, if you ever listened to RFAD and Outro, you'll notice, I know I did!, that once you write, listening to those songs, you just can't stop, and, the way I describe this feeling, it's like you blank out, your eyes go slightly out of focus and your fingers/or pen are flying along the keys/or writing in a frenzy...

God, how I love that feeling... must be a writer thing. *_*
