It's unquestionably worth playing. I absolutly loved the sphere grid. My party was really well rouned, I could defeat almost every randomly occuring battle in one round by the end. My aeons kicked some butt, I have to say. I practicly defeated the fist big boss at the end with just one summoning and a few rounds. (aren't overdrivves great?) I used a lot of time preparing for bosses and then kicking them sensless, but it worked well.
I thought it had an absolutly amazing storyline. I fell in love with Tidus and everyone else. I cried in the end, a few times. When the credits rolled I just sat there, stuned. I was convinced that it couldn't be over, untill I came to my senses and saw the credits rolling across the screen.
The music was amazing! Sometimes I put it in and go to Luca while I'm cleaning so I can listen to it in the sphere theater. I actually heard my precussion instructor plaung the theme song on the marumba today. It's the most beautiful song. I can't think about the end when I hear about it or I'll tear up.
It's by far my favorite RPG. It's rewardingly chalenging. It's one of thise games where you get immense satisfaction at getting thru some very difficult parts. (Machalania Temple trials still haunt me to this day.) I had to call my fiend up who'd already finnished it and get soem help a couple pf times. Something I hate to admit. But it was great the entire way. (Except my screams of frustartion when I saw a certian unkillable person show up agian, and agian, and agian...)
I highly recomend it to anyone at all.

In a word.....yes! :D
"Sometimes I wish I could go back to being five again, where the most difficult decision I had to make was whether I colored the flower red or blue. Back to when my brothers and I would stay out all day playing cops and robbers or cowboys and Indians. Back to when life was easy and carefree. But that would mean a life when I didn’t know you. I don’t think I’d like that too much."
