I wrote it as close to the feelings I got from the series. I put in alittle bit of my own ideas...especially on how a dad should be with his child.

Well, you did a wonderful job.

Wow Pilot. Talk about heart breaking. In my mind I just kept seeing the scene of Gene being pushed into the escape pod and how much it must've hurt his dad to let go of his son.

And poor Gene. Having to be separated from his father in such a manner. I don't think I ever let it get to me when I watched the series but you brought it home. Gah! Angst! Nicely done!

Now I am looking forward to your next story. Chop chop buddy!!
