This is a poem I originally considered putting in the 1xR forum, and I do intend to turn this into a fic ("5 Hours"). But I couldn't put it there, knowing that it belongs in the OF... it's kind of not based on 1xR at all.
Thanks to my AP Biology class for being so boring I didn't pay attention today.
October?s Song
5 months is how long ago he left
New mission, new dream, new purpose
I?m here, in the same place, fighting the same fight
Wishing I could be with him
5 hours is my goal today
To go 300 minutes without thinking a single thought
Of dark hair, strong eyes, and dandelion skin
But I was never him- I fail my missions
So 5 million times is how often I think of
That soft sundown in May
Forced goodbyes, shed tears, and false security
Don?t lie- I won?t see you again.
And you won?t miss me.
*sigh* I'm terrible at angst.
