Thank you captain, and, ehm, luitenant. :salute: It's so nice to know I can post these things somewhere without having to put up warnings to ward off potential Relena-bashers (or het-bashers, in extreme cases). As aweful it makes the rest of the fandom seem, BI is a haven of sorts. *goes to prepare ficcies for BI format*

Could that be Code Geass, Rose? :wink:

My radar went off quite loudly when I saw it. I was like, "Oh, dear. More of that. Poor girls." There's already the Lelouch-Shirley kiss backlash. Thank God Suzaku x Euphemia is more well-received.

...makes me want to say to the more rabid ones: Calm down!

(I don't have problems with people who like boy love pairings, but sometimes there are batshit crazy ones that makes me want to kill)

As for Melrose...

I don't have a problem with people liking BL either, but the idea that this shounen anime - btw, the person was COMPLAINING about the yuri and wanting to see more yaoi - should get rid of these female characters or "stop focusing on them" or whatever, because SHE wanted to see BOY KISSING... And yes, it's Code Geass. And it hacks me. Yuri doesn't bother me so much, but that's beside the point...

And I LIKE Shirley! And I was HAPPY LeLouch kissed her. And I'm dying over ep 14... My only hope is some additional info in the Momento Archive about CC telling LeLouch that he has to keep the things/people he loves away due to the power of Geass.

I'm not terribly impressed with how receptive people have been to Suzaku/Euphemia. I had hoped to see more...

Yuri? Oh, you mean Millay and...was it Nina?

Ah. Fangirls like that make my brain hurt. Why can't girl characters get love from other girls? Why? :???:

I haven't seen the series, BTW, just read the summaries off Momento and AnimeBlogs, but I know it's being said that part of what makes Code Geass great are the female characters, because OMG! they're a strong part of the plot. :D

And Rose, I know you'll write a fic for Euphie and Suzaku. One of these days. >:)

Uhm, talking about yuri... I noticed there's a new .hack// category, and that makes me wonder. Tsukasa and Subaru looked quite enamoured with each other, in The World. But while Tsukasa is a male Player Character, the person playing him is a girl in real life. So how does that work? BI doesn't allow same sex pairings romance to be posted... Does this mean that we can only submit Tsukasa/Subaru that takes place inside The World, or no Tsukasa/Subaru at all?

PS: I've posted 'Wasting Bullets' in the Believe Your Love showcase. I'm very proud of that one. :) It takes place before Heero and Quatre go to Sank, right after the battle with the Leo squad.

Well, as Crystaltear put it to me, she likes LeLouch/Kallen because for once the girl gets to be the guy's knight! (CT has a point)

BUT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU'RE NOT WATCHING IT?!?!?! It's the new mech series from Sunrise with chara designs by CLAMP! And Euphemia is sooo Relena, I <3 her like woah. ^___^

Is it canon? My stance on yuri isn't nearly what it is on yaoi, btw, but mostly because yuri has a worse place in fandom than het, #1, and #2, the yuri fans aren't generally het-bashers. They like women, and the female anime characters, so again, it's not so much of an issue.

Without knowing specifics, I'd say that in The World for .hack//, romance between the male and female game charas can be whatever. The romance between the girls outside of the game can be hinted at, but not explicit.

Is that reasonable?

Sounds reasonable to me. ^_^

I don't know all the specifics of the Tsukasa/Subaru thing (I saw the SIGN anime, but there's a lot more to .hack// than just that), but in the .hack//SIGN anime they were pretty close (holding hands, hanging out together just for the sake of being near each other and more such things) and I've heard it being said that in one of the .hack// manga, Mariko and An (respectively Subaru's and Tsukasa's IRL counterparts) were said to be going out on a date. :dunno: Sounds about as canon as 1xR, to me. :-P

Hoi, another question...

Not that it's posing a problem or anything, but I was wondering why, when I enter the site as an un-logged-in guest, I have suddenly started seeing the "Solaris" version, instead of the "Knights" template. Once I log in it switches back to Knights again. I've always had it set to Knights, and haven't been fooling around with it recently either. Is this just my comp acting up, or has something strange happened to the site itself? :eek:
