Alright, just a thought before I start bashing on the keyboard.

As a reverent addict of the Samurai culture, and since they are similar to knights only that they carry fans instead of shields and adhere to a stricter code of conduct and blahblahblahboringstuff... Would that be feasible?

Plus, the fact that love is forbidden to most bushi leaves a tingling feeling and a thousand mushy fluffy plots up ahead... oookay, starting to sound fagalous here....

My dad grew up on islands. He said the water was crystal clear and a beautiful blue. ^^ But I think it'd be scary to live on an island because of hurricanes. (Then again, I live in Tornado Ally, so why do I have any room to complain?? :lol: )

Hey, I said "be creative" and you can interpret it pretty liberally. I'm fine with that, just make a note at the top of your ficcy something like:

Author's Note: My interpretation of the theme "Knight" in this instance is that Samurai were the "knights" of ancient Japan.

You can be more detailed than that or you can leave it as simple as what I put above. I just want to be sure that people are actually doing a creative interpretation and not ignoring the rules. :D
