Crossovers

Ack! I tried to avoid doing something wrong after joining BI but...

I just realised that there was a crossovers forum specifically for crossovers fics but I have been posting my Gundam Wing/Wizard of OZ crossover in the Heero and Relena fanfiction archive. I guess I automatically thought 1xR and then went to the main 1xR forum. Have I posted in the wrong place and if so, how shall I fix this?

Argghhh I'm such a troublemaker :oops:

Given how far along you are, and the fact that WoO is not an anime, I don't think you need to worry about it. Just keep posting where you have been.

I believe the crossover forum is specifically for anime crossovers rather than ficcage inspired by a movie type of deal.

Also didn't Boss (Rose) tell you to post it in the 1xR fanfic showcase?

We don't generally refer to those as crossovers, anyway, I didn't think. It doesn't have Heero interacting with Judy Garland, so don't we call those types of stories "fusions"?

The difference is, when you have a crossover, you're taking characters from two or more anime or movie or whatever and having them interact. In a fusion, you're putting the characters (in this case) from Gundam Wing into the world/plot of the Wizard of Oz.

Goldberry's posted her fusions (GW/Robin Hood, GW/Utena) in the 1xR forums, so fusions are fine. Crossovers where the main focus and plot of the story are still set around the GW characters don't have to go in the crossover forum.

I didn't know those types of stories were called 'fusions'. You learn something new every day I guess.
