Hellooo there
time for my second story

I need you to tell me if I should do another chapter, or if I should just keep this a one-shot.
Warning: There's a bit of lime but it's nothing too mega.
I hope you guys like this. I was pretty happy with the original idea...I just hope I did it justice. Perhaps someone can re-write it for me!

Anyway, here you go, enjoy!

Heero pushed the door open fairly forcefully. It swung back, revealing yet another seedy bar, similar to every other one they had come across lately. They had been on the run for a week now, though Relena still wasn?t sure what from exactly.
?Keep your head down and don?t talk.? Heero instructed, before stepping onto the dirty tiled floor. The men in the room took little notice of him as he walked to the bar, but there was definitely a low-murmur of unpleasantness as blood-shot eyes caught sight of Relena following closely behind. Glancing around subtly, she noticed that there were, in fact, no other women in this room and that most of its inhabitants were either drunk or unconscious aging men.
She nearly walked into Heero when he stopped abruptly in front of her, not realising that they had reached the wooden countertop. Stepping to his side, she stared at the floor and ignored the supremely unsubtle way the barman?s gaze raked over her form. She might as well have been standing there completely naked, since all the eyes in the room seemed to be mentally undressing her in someway or another.
?What can I get you ma?am?? The man said, ignoring Heero and using a tone Relena didn?t particularly like, his eyes fixing resolutely on her chest. She resisted the urge to swiftly do up another button of her blouse and pull the hem of her skirt down to her knees.
?Go and find a table,? Heero said flatly to her. She nodded, head still down, and walked to an empty booth facing away from the bar. It seemed that everything Heero had said to her this past week had been an order; if he told her to run, she?d sprint; if he told her not to make a sound, she?d hold her breath ? she followed every instruction without complaint, knowing that in the end, Heero knew what he was doing. She just hoped she was right.
They had seen the men that were after her three times during the last two days, which was most definitely a bad sign. Her pursuers were fairly clich?d to say the least, with several scars adorning both faces, burly arms, dark leather jackets etc. From what Heero had told her, they were working for someone else as opposed to themselves, which meant that there was probably an inexhaustible supply of pointless henchmen someone could throw in her general direction. What they wanted to achieve by killing her, she didn?t know ? although she expected they weren?t planning on disposing of her straight away, perhaps desiring information or maybe even a ransom. She supposed it didn?t really matter, since anyway you looked at it, she was in a great deal of trouble. She sighed, looking up as Heero slid onto the bench opposite her.
?He hasn?t seen them around.? He said, running a hand through his dishevelled chocolate hair, ?We should be safe in here for an hour or so.?
Relena leaned in closer, ?Are you sure?? she whispered, ?Remember what happened yester-?
?I was careless yesterday, and I?ve apologised for that,? Heero interrupted, glancing at his watch before looking up at her, ?It won?t happen again.?
Relena blinked. ?oh-?no Heero, I didn?t mean it was your fault, I mean...you know you couldn?t have done anything to-?
?Save it.? He said coldly, looking away from her and scanning the room. Looking down at her hands, Relena chose not to recall what had happened. This past week with Heero had been truly terrifying; attempting to outrun some, frankly tireless, men who were insisting that you should die not being something she had put on her to-do list for life. Swimming with dolphins ? yes, fleeing a building set to explode in thirty seconds ? no thankyou.
In truth, spending this much time with Heero on her own was something she had longed to do for years, but she hadn?t quite imagined it to be so?action-packed. She hated the fact that her girlish crush still remained on the fairly stressed looking man sitting in front of her, and she despised the fact that it must be so blindingly obvious. Although, Heero had never been one to catch on to these sorts of things, so she supposed she was safe in that respect.
Hah, safe.
Hardly.
Heero sighed and took out a lighter from his pocket. He didn?t smoke, but had always carried the device, lest something was in dire need of being set alight. She watched as he rolled it in between his fingers, flicking it open and closed rather skilfully as he did so.
?So?? She began, once again finding herself desperately trying to start a faintly interesting conversation. ?Where are we sleeping tonight??
Pitiful.
Heero balanced his lighter on a finger and looked up at her. ?Not sure yet. Probably the car.?
?Right.? Relena nodded, resting her elbow on the tabletop and leaning on her hand. ?Well, I guess it?s gonna be a battle for the back seat then.? She smiled.
?Hardly.? He said, twirling the lighter a few times, ?I?m not going to be sleeping, so it?s all yours.?
Relena sat up, ?Heero, you can't not sleep.?
?Hn.?
?No, I?m serious!? she continued, ?you can?t expect to be fully alert and at your perfect-weapon?ness,? Heero raised an eyebrow, ?without atleast six hours of sleep a night.?
?Actually it?s eight.? He said simply, ?and don?t make up words.?
Relena smiled briefly and watched as he put the lighter back in his pocket. She still wasn?t satisfied.
?How about if I keep watch?? She pressed.
?No.?
?You have to sleep!?
?No, I don?t.?
She rolled her eyes and made an exasperated noise before leaning her elbow on the table again.
?Men.? She sighed.
?All pigs, right?? Heero said quietly, one corner of his mouth turning up slightly. Relena smiled as their eyes met.
?Right.? She chuckled.
She wished she could have held his gaze for the next hour, the next day even. She longed for those eyes, filled with an indescribable heat and yet somehow coated with ice, to look back at her the way she had dreamed about. She wanted to wake up to them and know that they were his.
Unfortunately, however, their hold on hers diminished all too soon. Heero was now looking at the door where they had come in, or atleast she was pretty sure he was. She was about to ask him what he was gazing so intently at, when his eyes widened abruptly.
And then she didn?t need her to tell him.
They were here.
In under a second, Heero had grabbed her hand from the table and yanked her through a door she hadn?t realised had been there. She blinked, a little dizzy from all the things that had just flashed past her. Looking around quickly, she saw they were in the little corridor outside the toilet. There was no lock on the door they had gone through, and the only toilet door was engaged.
?Fuck.? Heero cursed as he looked through the small pane of glass on the door they had just come through. Hurriedly, he turned to the locked door a few metres away and shoved his body-weight into it in an attempt to get it open. It was no use, the lock on it was too strong, and the door itself was thick metal ? obviously used for something else before it had become a toilet.
?I don?t think they saw us,? he said, turning back to her and looking out of the tiny window again, ?I think they just came in here to have a drink. If we- oh shit.?
?What?! What?s-?
Heero suddenly shoved her into the corner and put his arms on her waist. He brought his face so it was barely an inch from hers.
?One of them is coming in here.? He whispered.
?What are you-?
?Kiss me.?
Relena blinked. ?Wh-?
His lips met hers in a rush, just as the door swung open behind him. It took her a moment to fully comprehend what was happening. This was made more difficult of course, by the fact that Heero?s tongue had just found its way inside her mouth. Fairly overwhelmed by the last three seconds of her day, she stood completely motionless, eyes wide; wondering why on EARTH Heero Yuy was kissing her so possesively.
And then her eyes caught sight of a man she recognised. He was one of the two that was after her. He wasn?t two metres away from them, standing outside the engaged toilet door looking rather uncomfortable, yet seemingly unaware of her identity.
Oh.
She felt her heart race, her pulse rush, her skin heat; but simply couldn?t tell what had caused it. Was it fear? Or was it the fact that Heero?s kisses were becoming more heated with each wonderful second that passed. Relena found herself reacting, closing her eyes as she twirled her tongue with his and wrapping her arms around his neck. He growled his approval as he pushed her further into the corner.
She knew he was only doing this in an attempt to hide her face, but honestly, Relena didn?t care that it wasn?t strictly ?real?, she didn?t even care that her first kiss with the man she had been in love with for years was in front of someone who currently wanted to kill her ? Heero Yuy was kissing her, and she was damn well going to make the most of it.
She could taste him; smell that wonderful, indescribable scent; feel the length of his body pressed up intimately against her own and his warm, soft lips on hers. Her fingers tangled in his thick hair as their kiss became almost frenzied, Heero?s hands beginning to roam all over her body. Her only thoughts were of him, how his kisses made her knees weak, how his caresses made her shudder. She forgot about everything else, she forgot about whoever it was that was watching them; she didn?t care.
Relena distantly heard someone cough, taking no notice as one of Heero?s hands trailed lightly up to her breast. Her eyes shot open however, when a rather strained voice filled the small space around them.
?Uhm?excuse me, do you know if-?
Relena whimpered loudly into Heero?s mouth as he brushed a thumb over her nipple, teasing it through the thin material of her blouse. If he had been trying to shut the guy up, his plan had worked; although Relena was finding it increasingly difficult to keep reminding herself that this wasn?t real.
?Sorry, but could you tell me-?
She barely registered the fact that he had talked again, actually ripping her mouth away from Heero?s as he rolled his hips against hers, sucking in a noisy breath through gritted teeth. His method of interrupting the man was a little unfair on Relena, though she could hardly complain. The presence of his firm arousal as he pressed into her made her gasp, but the noise was somewhat drowned out when his lips found hers again.
?Oh jesus?uh?don?t worry about it!? the man said hurriedly before rushing out of the door behind them.
Heero continued kissing her for a few more seconds before pulling away just a tiny bit, so his mouth still grazed hers.
?Are they leaving?? He panted, his hot breath warming her lips. Relena swallowed and made herself look out the tiny window in the door. Banishing the lust that was, at present, clouding her mind, she tried to find the two people she would recognise. Indeed, the man that had just been in here with them hastily grabbed his coat before running out onto the street. His partner gave the barman a rather confused look before shrugging, putting a five dollar bill on the counter and walking out after his friend.
Sighing in relief, Relena turned back to Heero and nodded, her eyes fixed on his swollen lips. He stayed close to her, his breathing still warming her skin, sending wonderful tingles all the way down to her toes. A few moments later and he still hadn?t moved away. Finally forcing herself to look up at him, she felt her breath hitch in her throat as she saw the passion in his intense, beautiful eyes.
He brought his lips to hers so slowly, she didn?t even realise what he was doing until she felt their familiar warmth. Contrasting to the bruising, heated kiss he had given her before, his mouth moved gently, almost cautiously on hers, causing her eyes to close at the exquisite feeling and a sigh to escape her.
Heero froze. Abruptly, he ripped his lips away from hers, only just realising what he had done, and took a step back, running a hand through his thick hair. Relena?s eyes opened again to see him turned away, looking out of the pane of glass in the door.
?We have to go.? He said quietly, pushing it open and walking through it without looking back at her. She blinked a few times.
And then it hit her.
Heero Yuy had just kissed her.
Twice.
Leaning back on the wall behind her, she touched a couple of trembling fingers to her swollen lips?
? and smiled.
