Well I finally found the time to write another chapter. Sorry it's been taking so long. The Marines keep me quite busy, plus having severe writers block doesn't help matters any. Hope you enjoy the new chapter!

Chapter Twenty-Two



As the shuttle carrying Heero, Noin, Jasin, and the Gundam suits traveled towards Jasin?s lab Heero took the time to find out how much Jasin knew about their enemy.

?The leader of New Oz is a man named Alexander Azzarious.?

Heero stared at him wide eyed for a moment. ?Azzarious?! I thought he died??

?I?m sad to say that he is very much alive and well and just as twisted as ever.?

?You know who this guy is Heero?? Noin asked.

?I heard his name from Doctor J. during the planning for Operation Meteor.?

?So this guy was part of the plan to drop a colony on earth?!? asked Noin sounding fearful.

?Yes Azzarious was one of the key members along with Kanz and Dakim to master mind the original Operation Meteor. So I?m assuming that is his intent again.?

?It is,? muttered Jasin.

?Then why is he after you?? asked Noin.

?He wants me to design superior weapons for him to use after the colony has been dropped to maintain his regime. I?d rather die than create weapons for him to control the world.?

?Hn. You said that you had a force that could help us defeat Azzarious. Just what did you mean by that?? Heero gave Jasin a look that said he was all about business at the moment.

?Well, like Zechs I too am fond of the mobile suit. I created my own personal gundams for the security force I was assembling. Along with myself there are three other members whom you will meet once we reach my lab. So along with the five original Gundams, Epyon, and Tallgeese III there are four new models.?

?Sounds to me like you?ve had this in the works for sometime,? grunted Heero.

?I have. Like the Preventers on earth I wanted to create a force to be used to help maintain peace here in space.?

?But the Preventers work in space as well,? interjected Noin.

?And you will find that patrolling space is harder than you think and the amount of officers used by Preventers in space isn?t even half of what is needed. I had wanted to join the fight to maintain peace with the Preventers but I didn?t know who to contact about it till after my fianc? had been kidnapped. I never did pay attention to the news much but in trying to find out more about New Oz I found out that Zechs was part of Preventers and so I came to earth to find him. You know the rest from there.?

Silence ensued for a moment before Jasin spoke again.

?Ah, we?re here.?

And just as he had finished saying this a small station came into view.

?Dock on the far side of the station. It will allow us easier access to the hanger where the gundams will be kept till the time of the mission.?

?Roger,? replied Heero as he guided the shuttle around the station.

Once docked they left the shuttle to unwind a bit from the long ride before unloading the Gundams.

?The dinning area is down the hall to the left. All of the sleeping quarters are down the hall to the right. The control room and training center is straight ahead. We?ll go there first so you can meet the rest of the team.?

Upon entering the control room they saw three men standing around one of the computers looking at something very intently. As Heero, Jasin, and Noin made their way over to them they noticed that it wasn?t technical data on the screen but a video game. A closer look showed it to be an emulation of the original Super Mario Bros. Smirking to himself Jasin spoke loudly to his men.

?What are you guys up too?? he asked.

Jumping at his question, for the three of them had not noticed anyone had come in, they all spun around to look at him.

?Hi Jasin. We didn?t hear you come in,? said the tall slender man on the left.

Jasin just rolled his eyes at them. ?I?d like to introduce you to Heero Yuy and Lucrezia Noin.?

The men bowed their heads slightly to them. Jasin turned to Heero and Noin and began to introduce his men to them.

?The man on the left is James Campbells but everyone calls him Soup.?

Noin had to stifle a laugh.

?The one sitting in the middle is Daniel Jackson but we call him Jackal, you?ll find out why later, and lastly is Kenshin Himora.?

This time Noin did start laughing but Heero just stared at him blankly. Finally he spoke up.

?You mean as in Kenshin Himora from the anime series Rurouni Kenshin??

?Unfortunately yes. My parents have a very sick sense of humor,? he added flatly.

?So let me guess you call your gundam battosai right?? Heero asked jokingly.

?If you must know I call it Sakabato for it has never been used to kill.?

?Speaking of which I would like to see the models you made if you don?t mind.? Noin had finally stopped laughing and took the opportunity to inquire on the new gundams.

?All right then follow me,? said Jasin. Leading them to the hangar he punched in an access code on a control panel and opened the doors. Inside they saw the four new gundams. Noin was wide eyed and although it didn?t show much Heero was impressed with the suits as well.

?As you can see each on is suited for a specific type of combat,? Jasin stated gesturing to the suits. ?The black and red one on the left is the Stampede and is a well rounded suit to be used in multiple types of combat. But mainly it is supposed to overwhelm the opponent. Note that it has two of each type of weapon it carries.?

And just as Jasin had said it had two beam rifles, two beam sabers, two beam boomerangs, two large gundanium swords on its back as well as the usually vulcan guns and shoulder and head mounted machine guns.

?This suit is piloted by Soup. Next is the gundam Outlaw. This is our long-range fighter. Notice the large 150mm sniper beam rifle. Along with that it has a 300mm canon on its back that can be changed into two smaller shotgun style beam rifles. It also has the head and shoulder machine guns and two beam sabers in it?s hips should it need to fight in close combat. Jackal pilots this suit. Next is the Sakabato. This suit was designed with close combat in mind, and you could even say that it is specifically used for dueling. It is slightly smaller and lighter to allow it greater speed and agility. Also it carries no beam weapons of any kind or any shoulder mounted machine guns. It has the head mounted machine guns and two specially made gundanium alloy katanas that have been strengthened with the neo titanium and cuendillar process I was telling you about. Its final weapon is an EMP discharge that can be used only once and then must be recharged here at the base. Lastly is my suit. It?s name is Serenity. It too has the EMP and one of the katanas but it also has the wing vulcans, the shoulder and head mounted machine guns, two beam sabers, a beam rifle and boomerang, and it also has a flight mode like Epyon and Wing Zero, before you upgraded to the, for lack of a better analogy, angel wings.?

?You?ve got quite an impressive collection Jasin. I can see why New Oz would want you on their side so much.?

?Let?s just hope that this impressive collection is enough to stop them before it?s too late.?

man, you had all this going on plus a marriage to help plan, you got my props bro.
Loved the chapter, the suit design were great and I loved the different amount of weaponry you have on them. I also love how the three pilots are geek, it made me laugh. keep it up bro. PEACE!

I take you haven't read my latest story "All I Want For Christmas". I had to put it on hold indefinately because it was draining me and I wanted to work on other stuff, but don't worry, I will finish it one day.

Very nice way to set the atmosphere, the weaponry is impressive and highly capable of what I feel is coming in my bones *am I right? am I? am I?*

Still can't help but wonder what is going on with the other gundam pilots during this time... bet they're out partying Duo's probably hosting
