He's Never Hated [Drabble-ish; M]

<b>AN:</b> Written a few months ago one Friday while watching the Travel Channel and ghost stuffs. Apparently ghost watching + me = smutty type writings. Regardless this may be disjointed and/or confusing. Could be a piece of crap too. I dunno. Title is just something that I came up with now because ?sharing is caring? seemed a tad too cheesetastic.

There was never a time when Kaoru hated being a twin. He knew his brother Hikaru felt likewise. They shared everything with each other, knowing that it was what the other would have wanted. They loved each other and they loved to share. It was a known fact and a widely accepted one.

So it came as a shock when they had to slowly coax Haruhi into their beds, either separately or as a trio. They didn?t understand her protests. She wanted them, they wanted her. It was all rather simple to them.

But Haruhi was a rather practical girl. It was something the Hitachiin brothers loved about her (they certainly need a good dose of her practicality more often than not) but it was also something that aggravated them.

?It?s a perfect solution!?

?How is it perfect? What happens if you get jealous??

?We never get jealous of each other!?

?We share everything!?

Somehow, some way they finally won Haruhi over during their last year at Ouran Academy. Hikaru hypothesized that the Host Club?s founder and former president?s departure had a huge influence. One that didn?t interfere. And while he agreed to some extent, Kaoru suspected that hormones and pent up sexual frustration had an even bigger impact. (But more than that he suspected the fading guilt of having to choose amongst any member in the club was what really opened the door.)

They both knew Haruhi?s desire to be seen as a girl had the most impact. There were only so many times Haruhi could turn a girl down or keep her gender a secret. Extreme fangirls made changing in the school a mission impossible.

And as Hikaru?s thrusts increased in tempo as he took Haruhi from behind, Kaoru wondered if it was more due to their shared vacation abroad that finally won her over. Regardless of how Haruhi viewed herself, she was still a girl and seeing other people of the same age in loving relationships makes one want something similar.

So one night Haruhi admitted her feelings. But unlike most girls her age she was torn between two brothers who just so happened to be twins and her best friends. She couldn?t just choose one over the other. Haruhi wanted Hikaru and Kaoru equally.

When he thought back on it, Kaoru had to muffle a chuckle at his brother?s and friend?s stupidity.

So Kaoru decided for them all and kissed Haruhi, using the shock of their kiss to maneuver her over to the bed. And as he began to undress her, he called his other half over. The shocked look on Hikaru?s face morphed into one of impish delight.

Haruhi never really said anything overly practical about their relationship after that. Even though the knowledge of it all having to come to an end was always present, Kaoru never let it bother him.

As Haruhi extracted herself from Hikaru?s arms and walked toward the chair in which the younger of the twins sat, Kaoru didn?t worry about the future. Especially when she mounted him. Thinking always became difficult for him during these times.

He loved Haruhi very much and would do anything to make her happy. But he loved his brother more than life itself and Hikaru?s happiness meant more than anything else. So when the time came, Kaoru would step back and allow the true feelings between the two most important people in his life grow and become something more. Something beyond him and he?d smile and accept it and encourage it whole heartedly.

For now though, he?d continue to be selfish and love both Haruhi and Hikaru the only way he currently knew how. Besides, that decision was a ways off yet. Both brothers were far too attached to seeing their other having sex with the only girl that captured their attention. And Kaoru was certain that Haruhi got a certain thrill from it as well though she?d never admit to it.

So when asked, Kaoru was always honest. He never hated being a twin and he certainly never hated having to share.

A tiny bit of angst, a dash of humor, and a whole lot of goodness maketh this a good story. (Oh and the TwinsxHaruhi OT3 giveth that extra 200%)
