Chapter 8
The next day Hinata had to go to market to get some groceries. She still couldn?t believe what happened to her the night before. Her crush since the academy is now her fianc?. She smiled and laughed at that concept. When Hinata entered the market place she saw Sakura and Ino looking at the herbs. She guessed that they were there looking for things for antidotes and other remedies. They looked up and saw Hinata coming and Sakura said, ?Hey Hinata,? while Ino smiled and waved. ?Hello Sakura; hello Ino,? said Hinata, waving her left hand ? already forgetting that she had a ring on her finger now. Sakura and Ino immediately saw the ring and came up close to Hinata. Sakura asked slyly, ?Soo Hinata what?s that on your finger?? Hinata looked down at her hand and then blushed a little because she already forgot about her ring. ?Huh, what is it?,? asked Ino sarcastically. Hinata replied, ?Oh, well, Naruto proposed to me last night and now we?re engaged!!? ?NO WAY?!!!,? said both of the other girls. Hinata smiled and nodded. Sakura then said, ?Congratulations!? and gave her Hinata hug. Ino did the same. Hinata then asked them, ?Well, since you?re here, could you guys help me plan it? Ten-Ten too, because I know that she would also want to help. But would you guys be willing to help me with it. I?m really not that good at this kind of stuff--? Sakura broke off Hinata in mid sentence and answered for both herself and Ino, as well as Ten-Ten, ?Of course we will Hinata. It would be an honor.? ?Great! Thanks!,? replied Hinata, and Hinata carried on with her shopping with Ino and Sakura.
A few months later, the wedding was finally all planned out. All of Naruto?s friends were invited from everywhere he had been over the past years. Also the entire Hyuuga clan was there which made the attendance even bigger. But what made it even weirder was that the entire village came to the wedding. With all of the people attending the wedding took place outside in a wide open space that could accommodate all of the people attending the wedding. Before the wedding started, Naruto was out on the platform, in a tux, where the ceremony would be taking place. Why is the entire village here?, he thought to himself. But before he could answer his own question, the wedding began. Naruto could barely keep his emotions inside and was beaming a huge smile. Hiashi walked Hinata down the isle and he was also having a hard time keeping his composure. Hinata was dressed in a beautiful white flowing gown that made her look like an angel. Hiashi and Hinata made it finally to the platform and Naruto stepped down to take Hinata. Hiashi smiled at Naruto and said, ?Naruto, take care of my daughter.? Naruto, still smiling, said, ?Yes, Sir, I will.? Hiashi laughed and then said, ?Naruto you can stop calling me sir and start calling me dad!? Naruto and Hinata laughed and they both walked up to the platform. The ceremony began with the Hokage saying, ?Ladies and Gentlemen we are gathered here today to celebrate the binding of Hyuuga Hinata and Uzumaki Naruto in holy matrimony?? The wedding continued with both Hinata and Naruto exchanging their vows and it finally came to the end. Tsunande said smiling, ?I now pronounce you man and wife; you may now kiss the bride.? Naruto did just that and everybody clapped for the new wedded couple. Then the Hokage said, ?Ladies and Gentlemen, if I could have your attention one more time, please.? Everyone got quiet again and Naruto and Hinata looked at the Hokage. She continued, ?As my last order as the standing Hokage? the village elders and I have decided the next Hokage.? Everyone was silent at the news. Naruto gulped at what he heard. ?We have come to an agreement that the next Hokage shall be? Uzumaki Naruto.? Everyone was speechless for a moment. They all remembered who he was? he was the nine tailed fox. But he had done so much for the village over the past years that he did deserve that position. The suddenly came the explosion of cheers and clapping. They were all cheering for Naruto. Tsunande continued, ?Now, since we are all here, I, as well as the elders, shall begin the initiation of the Sixth Hokage!? So that?s what everyone is here for. Wow I really am stupid, thought Naruto. Then he laughed at the fact that his life long dream finally came true. After Naruto was sworn into office, a carriage was waiting for him and Hinata for their honeymoon. They proceeded over to it and before they entered somebody told them to wait. Tsunande was there along with the Hyuuga clan and all of Naruto?s friends. Tsunande said, ?Since you are now the Sixth Hokage, you know you have to dress like him.? And she handed him the robe and hat of what the Konoha Hokage wore. Naruto put them on and they all cheered for him one more time. Then Tsunande said to him jokingly, ?Oh and Naruto, the paperwork will be waiting for you when you get back!?
About nine months have passed since the wedding and Naruto?s promotion to Hokage. He and Hinata moved into the mansion that was given to the Hokage to stay in. Hinata was now pregnant with their first kid. Naruto walked out of the master bedroom and entered the kitchen area where Hinata was since she was having one of her cravings. ?Morning, honey,? said Naruto to Hinata. ?Morning, Naruto. You want some tea?,? asked Hinata. ?Can I have it to go? I need to get to the office and finish some important documents for the village,? replied Naruto. Hinata nodded and put some tea into a thermos and gave to him. Naruto walked up to Hinata, hugged and kissed her. Then he asked, ?Is today the day?? ?I don?t know,? said Hinata jokingly, ?But I have a good feeling.? Naruto smiled and kissed her on the cheek again and left to go to his office. He still couldn?t believe that he was going to be a father. The call for him to go to the hospital came in the afternoon when Naruto was finishing up some mission reports from the past days. One of his aids came in and said, ?Hokage-sama, your wife is in labor and she is at the hospital.? Naruto stood up from his chair immediately and shouted, ?REALLY?!! OH MY GOD!!? ?Hokage-sama, I think it would be wise to go to the hospital now, don?t you think?,? asked the aid trying to get Naruto to go to the hospital to see Hinata. ?Yes, yes you?re right. Let?s go!,? said Naruto and he left in a flash to the hospital.
Naruto made it to the hospital to find Sakura coming out of the room that Hinata was in. ?I?m sorry Naruto but you need to wait out here, till everything is done,? said Sakura. ?WHAT?!! Why do I have to wait out here?!!,? said the Hokage. ?BECAUSE I TOLD YOU TO THAT?S WHY!!!! NOW SIT!!,? yelled Sakura and she pointed to the waiting room benches. The Hokage just grumbled off and went over to the benches and sat down. He sat there for exactly 5 seconds then got up and started to pace up and down the hall way in front of the room. ?Hey Naruto, you keep walking up and down like that you?re going to put a groove in the floor,? said a man walking over to Naruto. Naruto turned to the man and said, ?Kakashi!? Naruto ran to him and hugged him. Kakashi looking a little uncomfortable said, ?Congratulations on the baby, Naruto.? Naruto replied, ?Thanks; I hope it?s a boy!? Naruto started to laugh at that comment and then got serious again which he then began to pace again. Soon all of his friends came when they heard the news that Hinata was having the baby. Neji and Hiashi were the last to come and also congratulated him. Then suddenly, Sakura came out and said, ?It?s a boy!!? which made Naruto scream for joy. Sakura then, ?Naruto, you can come in now.? Naruto walked into the room and saw a fatigued Hinata holding the baby that was wrapped in blankets in her arms. Naruto came up quietly by her and said jokingly, ?How do you feel, baby?? Hinata shot a wicked 'I am going to dimasculate you and strangle you with it for what you made me go through glare' at him which made Naruto shut up instantly. But then the little bundle in Hinata?s arms cooed. Hinata took some of the blankets away from the baby?s face and said, ?He looks just like his father.? She was right; the baby boy looked almost exactly like Naruto when he was an infant (blonde hair and blue eyes). Naruto said, ?So, any names yet?? Hinata simply replied, ?I couldn?t think of anything good so I was thinking about naming him after you.? ?Okay,? said Naruto soothingly and then he kissed Hinata on the forehead.
Years have passed since then and Naruto Jr. enrolled into the ninja academy in Konoha. The funny thing about it was that he was a spitting image of his father when he was younger, but the differences between the junior and the senior were major. Iruka was still teaching at the academy and he was blessed with getting the second Uzumaki. Iruka told Naruto that his son would be a great ninja just like his father because Junior reminded him of Naruto. Junior graduated the academy and was luckily able to get one of the best Jounins to teach him ? Kiba. Over these years though, there was a great controversy because of the way Naruto Jr. looked. He was half Hyuuga but he didn?t look like it, so the question was did he actually possess the skills of the Hyuuga clan? The great question was answered when one day when Junior was focusing his chakra. His eyes turned a cold white and his vision changed. He could see things that he couldn?t have seen before. Junior could hardly wait to get home and show his parents what he could do now. When Junior got to the mansion he got his dad away from his desk for a moment and also found his mom. He then proceeded with what he did before he got to the house. Junior said, ?Watch this!? and then his eyes turned the cold white. Naruto senior stood there dumbfounded and Hinata was jumping up and down clapping. Then when Junior was done Hinata gave him a big hug and congratulated him. Naruto senior said, ?Well you know what this means now, don?t you? You?re going to have to get your uncle to train you for awhile.? Hinata agreed with that then said, ?And after he shows you all of the stuff he knows, you come back to me and I?ll show you some better moves!? Naruto senior smiled and placed an arm around his wife. He said to his son, ?Good work son, now go off with your friends. It looks like they?re waiting for you outside.? ?Okay, bye!! I?ll be back in time for dinner!,? said Naruto junior as he waved backed to his parents. Both Hinata and Naruto sighed in reminiscence. Hinata said, ?Just like his father, good with his friends and never missing a meal.? Naruto said, ?He?s gonna be a strong ninja when he grows up. Having strong endurance and a big source of chakra in him, and also have your great control of it, Hinata. I think that he would even be a better Hokage then me when he gets older.? Naruto chuckled at that comment and continued, ?I would definitely like to see that.? Hinata smiled, and said in reply, ?I would too??
