?Itachi.? the voice was cold, ?You should be memorizing the scrolls I gave you. Not playing with? children.? his Oto-san never used his name. His father set him down gently, ?Who said you could leave the study?? Sasuke giggled as his mother came outside. She looked pail and weak. His father ran to her side and started softly cooing that she should be in bed, ?Non-since! I needed to see what stopped my baby?s laughter!? Itachi smiled softly and his mother. She gently picked up his smiling brother.
?Ai! You to weak! He?s five? he needs to learn to be independent!? Itachi glared at his father. His heartless, bastard father. His mother, his gentle, kind mother, sighed and set her son down. Itachi could see the hurt in her eyes. The beautiful eyes that showed who her true clan was. She was an outer branch Haruno, and she had inherited the loving, kind green eyes. These were the eyes that had caught his fathers attention to her. He, himself, had gained the beauty of dark forest green eyes that was cool, but warm. Sasuke had inherited those ugly, horrid, cold, yet beautiful jet eyes. This attractive feature made him a rare Uchiha, even rarer then those with the hypnosis mirror wheel eye.

Itachi growled as his father blindfolded another child. There were four in front of him, ?Now. Aim and strike. Don?t you dare falter or try to miss.? Itachi looked at his little cousins. He couldn?t kill them, not with their mothers watching. He fell to his knees and started to cry. His mother rushed to his side, ?Sssh, hush, love. It?s ok? sssh! Hakujou, your being the heartless bastard I met at the academy! I said I?d give you children. YOU WILL NOT KILL MY SON!? everyone looked at this woman. Itachi heard his father coming toward them.
His fathers hand rested on his arm, ?I will not kill your son. Itachi will.? Itachi stood and walked back into the house. Dinner that night was quiet, even Sasuke, who had a burse on his cheek, was silent and cowered every time his fathers hand came near him. After dinner Itachi listened to his mothers soft lullaby as she washed the dishes. Sasuke?s burse was ignored, and Hakujou sat at the table drinking tea. Sasuke trying to figure out what he?d done wrong, was looking through his school papers, he had several piles. Itachi came over to his struggling brother and broke the silence, ?Come on, Ototo-chan. I?ll fix up that cheek.?
Sasuke looked shocked, ?But? It was pun-? Itachi put a finger over his brothers lips. Sasuke watched Itachi walk up stairs, ?Oto-sama? May I, leave?? his father looked at the papers and, sighing, nodded. Sasuke ran to see his brother sitting on his(Itachi?s) bed. He had a kunai pressed to his wrist and was slowly dragging it across the skin. Sasuke watched in horror has blood trickled down Itachi?s wrist. Not knowing what to do he ran down to his mother, ?Mommy, mommy! Nii-san is bleeding! His had a kunai and he went like that?? he demonstrated, ?on his wrist and he started to bleed!? Hakujou was already dragging Itachi down the stairs.
Ai watched her husband and knew this would cost her when bed time came around. She stepped between the two men she loved, ?Stop. Please, I beg you. He?s only twelve! He doesn?t know any better.? Hakujou looked at his wife. She slid delicately against his chest, ?Please, Haku-san. Don?t. Leave him be. Please.? she kissed his neck and gave Itachi the sign to take Sasuke up stairs to his (Itachi?s) room and put a privacy jutsu on all the walls doors, windows and the floor. Itachi pulled Sasuke out of the room and into his room. He made the jutsu quickly, but not fast enough. They could hear their mothers screams? but only for an moment. Itachi pulled the frightened Sasuke to him and let the sobbing five year old cry in his arms.
Itachi stayed awake till he heard his mother?s gentle knock, not even the most skilled Uchiha could copy it. He opened the door, ?Oto-San?s asleep?? she nodded and looked to where Sasuke lay on the bed, ?Kaa-chan? Lets clean you up. The bathrooms got a privacy jutsu to go take a shower.? she nodded and entered the bath room. Itachi, meanwhile, slipped into his parents room and slipped a kimono from the closet. His father was a heavy sleeper, but he knew not to underestimate the Uchiha Family head. He quietly exited the room and stole into his own. His mother was wrapped in a towel, ?Here. I made sure to cover my steps. He won?t notice that you stayed in my room.? she pulled on the kimono quickly.
They fell asleep. Itachi held Sasuke, and their mother held Itachi.

?Itachi.? hack, ?You won?t get away with this.? he looked at his father. There was blood down his chine and a kunai in his gut, ?I know father. Sasuke will kill me. And I?ll join you in hell.? Hakujou smiled sadly at his son, ?That?s what you want? Death? Your stronger then I thought. Itachi? I loved you and Sasuke. I had to kill my brother. I was the first child? I killed my younger twin brother.
?It was sad. He didn?t get why he couldn?t train with me. I?d watch him and think that I couldn?t harm him. I did. My father dressed him up as a dummy?and I took aim and hit his heart. I didn?t eat for a month after that? my father? never tried to comfort me.? Itachi held a katana to his fathers neck, ?I loved you and Sasuke, Itachi. I loved your mother too. Tell them that.? he was gone shortly after.
Ai looked at her husbands corpse. Itachi looked soullessly at her, ?You killed him? Itachi. Through the heart, please? I need him.? Itachi stopped. He looked at her desperate face. No? she couldn?t die. Sasuke needed her! She smiled at him, ?Do it. NOW ITACHI!? his blood lust melted to sorrow as she fell? dead. He heard the door open and heavy steps rain down the hall. He knew it was Sasuke. The other family members were dead. He waited for his brother to come in, ?Oto-San, Kaa-chan! Every ones de-? he stared at their life less body?s then at the shadow in the corner. He started to cry? he couldn?t find Itachi, ?Nii-san! Nii-san! Where are you!? The shadow in the corner moved and he heard Itachi?s voice.
?I?m right her Ototo. I?m fine.? he came out of the shadows. Sasuke froze at the blood that soaked his brother in crimson. Itachi watched Sasuke fight with him-self, ?I?m right here Ototo. And yes. I?m our clans destroyer, I still?? Sasuke started to yell, ?WHY! WHY DID YOU KILL THEM! THEY?RE OUR CLAN! OUR CLAN, ITACHI! I?LL KILL YOU! I?LL KILL YOU, ITACHI! ? he fell down sobbing. Itachi wanted to hold him? tell him the whole truth? but he had to make Sasuke hate him.
?Your weak.? Sasuke looked up, ?Ototo, You?re pathetic. If you want to kill me, settle for hating me until you can! Hate me?,? something? made him choke. His love for the younger boy, that was it, ?And Live. Live, Like the coward you are! Clinging to life?? he choked again, this hurt, ?With out honor!? Sasuke flew at his brother. He was intent on killing him. Itachi dodged easily, ? Foolish little brother if you wish to kill me, then hate me. Hate. And may that hate make you miserable for the rest of your days!? Itachi disappeared. On the floor lay his Anbu mask? a fox? dark forest greens shaped the face. Sasuke was found an hour later? asleep and clutching the mask for dear life? no one had the heart to take it from him.
When they tried to fined a guardian for the young Uchiha all hell broke lose?

I alway's wanted to know why Itachi would kill his clan. So I wrote out the idea that occured the most often. I figured that sence Itachi seemed to love Sasuke, a lot, that he killed the clan for Sasuke. So... yah! I hope you liked IT!
