Chapter 4

It was about 6:50 when Naruto was walking down the street to Hinata?s house. It wasn?t that hard to miss considering how big it was. Naruto finally came up to the door and checked his watch. It read 7:00 pm exactly. Naruto took a breath and knocked on the front door hoping that Hinata?s father wouldn?t answer because Naruto got bad vibes from him. Neji just happened to be walking by the front door and he opened it to see Naruto standing there a little nervous. ?Naruto?,? said Neji wondering why Naruto was standing there looking a little more cleaned up than usual. ?Ahh,? Naruto said, ?Hey, Neji. Is Hinata around?? Just as he said that Hinata came rushing to the door. ?Thanks for answer the door Neji. Tell my dad that I?m going out with some friends and I?ll be back later,? Hinata said while grabbing Naruto?s hand and briskly walking away from the house. ?Uhhh, sure,? said Neji still wondering what was happening. Neji closed the door and thought that he smelled something sweet, is that perfume, he thought, Hinata only wears that on special occasions. Oh well, Neji thought to himself. He went on to his business, what ever it was.

Hinata was basically dragging Naruto away from the house then she realized that she was holding his hand. She immediately let his hand go and started to blush. She brought up her hands to her face and started to twiddle her fingers trying to hide her face. Naruto smiled and asked, ?So I guess they don?t know about us yet, huh?? Hinata giggled a little and said no. She was thinking about what happened earlier in the afternoon before Naruto came. When she came back from training it was about 5:00 pm and Kurenai told Hinata to give herself plenty of time to get ready for her date. Hinata still couldn?t believe that she was going out on a date with her long time crush. Coming back into reality Hinata saw Naruto stop and he asked, ?So what do you want to do?? Hinata answered, ?Er..., I don?t know. What do you want to do?? Naruto thought hard for a moment and said, ?Well let?s just go into town and we?ll find something to do.? Hinata smiled and agreed with Naruto by nodding her head. ?Stop that,? Naruto said, grabbing Hinata?s hand, ?I can?t see your pretty face when you do that.? Hinata blushed harder and Naruto brought her hand down by his side. They walked into town holding hands, together.

When they got into town Hinata wasn?t blushing as much as she was when they started off until she thought she over heard someone say, is that Hyuuga going out with that boy? Naruto heard it too and whispered into Hinata?s ear, ?Don?t worry about what they say. They just don?t understand.? That was true, Hinata thought. She knew that her father probably wouldn?t approve either considering she was going out with the 9 tailed fox. Naruto finally stopped walking and turned to Hinata, and said, ?I?m tired of everyone looking at us and talking behind our backs. Why don?t we just go to our spot and watch the sunset?? Hinata liked that idea. She agreed with him and they set off running to their favorite spot in the village, above the heads of the Hokages. They finally got to the spot just in time as the sun was beginning to set. Naruto plopped on the ground and Hinata slowly sat down next to him. He was watching her sit down with one of his big goofy grins. He then turned back to the sunset and he lost his smile as he was watching the sun go down. Hinata decided to break the silence, ?Uh---h, Naruto?? ?Yeah,? he said. ?Uh?h, well I, uh, just wanted to say that, I-I had a crush on you ever since I saw you in the academy.? ?Really?,? Naruto responded fast. He said, ?All these years and I didn?t even notice that you liked me. Wow, I guess I am stupid.? Hinata replied in defense of her love saying, ?No you?re not!? Naruto was looking deep into her eyes and began to smile, slowly, again. Hinata asked, ?What is it Naruto?? ?Oh, it?s just the twilight hitting your eyes. It?s the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.? Hinata blushed. Naruto thought to himself that this would be a perfect time for them to have they?re first real kiss. Naruto moved his head closer to Hinata?s and Hinata remembered some Kurenai said, ?Okay this time when he looks like he?s gonna kiss you, don?t black out.? Hinata went along with the advice and met Naruto?s lips with hers. It was their first real kiss. For Hinata it seemed like it went on forever until Naruto broke it and took her hand. He said to her, ?Hinata. Don?t worry about what other people think about you, or us for that matter. I don?t want to see you embarrassed any more about yourself okay?? Hinata said at normal speech level, ?Okay.? Naruto smiled again and went back on to kissing her.

The next day was a scorcher. The temperature was recordly high in Konoha. Everywhere you looked, you would see people who were being affected by the abnormal heat. Naruto was walking down the main street to see what his friends were up to. He second thought his decision to walk outside because of the temperature. Man its hot today. Where is everyone?, he thought. As he kept on walking down the street he noticed some familiar pink hair. It was Sakura and she was with the girls from the other teams in front of a few shops. Naruto also noticed that Hinata was there with them. He walked over to them and said, ?Hey Sakura, hey Ino, hey Ten-Ten, hey babe? He pointed at Hinata with a gun like hand and when he fired he winked at her. This made Hinata blush, of course, and all of the girls were looking at her now. ?Hinata, can I talk to you for a sec?,? asked Naruto as he brought Hinata a little away from the group of girls. ?Hey I was wondering if you wanted to go swimming with me later today. Its sooo damn hot. Come on what do you say?,? asked Naruto. ?Okay,? replied Hinata without stuttering, ?Where do you wanna go?? Naruto responded, ?How about my creek. You remember where it is right?? ?Of course, I remember. Its over by that waterfall right?,? said Hinata. Naruto smiled and said, ?Yep! See you about 2-ish?? ?Okay sounds good,? said Hinata. ?Great!,? said Naruto and he gave her a peck on the check. He said his good byes to Hinata and the rest of the girls, and left to go see what the guys were up to. Hinata watched him walk off and then turned around to see that all of the girls were looking at her. ?What?,? asked Hinata. ?What do you think?,? asked Ino in a mad/sarcastic way. ?Oh, didn?t you know we?re going out now,? replied Hinata. ?Awwww, that?s so cute,? replied Ten-Ten. ?Well, hey, do you think you guys could help me pick out a new swim suit that?ll knock Naruto out?,? asked Hinata. ?Sure,? said Sakura and the girls went into a shop that was displaying swim wear.

It was about 2:00 when Hinata came to the creek. Naruto was already in it, trying to cool himself off underneath the waterfall. Naruto looked over at the edge of the creek and saw Hinata walking up with a basket. Oh, did she bring something to eat? God, she really is the best!, he thought. Naruto got out from underneath the waterfall and swam over to the edge of the creek to say hi to Hinata. He got out about the same time as Hinata came up to the edge of the creek. Hinata looked a little pale as she was walking up considering she was wearing her hoody-jacket which had to of added at least 10 degrees. She took a glance as Naruto was standing up, Wow I can?t believe that I?m this close to Naruto with out his shirt on. Her faced started to turn red and she was sniffing back a little nose bleed from what she saw. ?Hi Naruto. Sorry I?m a little late,? said Hinata. ?No worries. I?m just glad you?re here,? said Naruto. Hinata smiled in acknowledgement and laid out a blanket that was on top of the basket. She then placed the basket at a corner to make sure that the blanket wouldn?t fly away. Naruto was staring at Hinata. ?What?,? asked Hinata. ?Aren?t you hot in that jacket?,? asked Naruto. ?Oh yeah, uh I wanted this to be a surprise for you. The girls helped me pick this out so don?t laugh, okay? Promise?,? replied Hinata. Naruto said, ?Yeah, yeah? come on already.? ?Okay, but just don?t laugh,? said Hinata. Hinata took a deep breath and took off her jacket. It revealed a red bikini thong which was a little snug up in the top. Almost instantaneously, as Naruto laid eyes upon her, did his eyes widen and he got a massive nose bleed. This made him black out and faint onto the blanket. Well I guess the suit worked, Hinata thought. She went over to Naruto and picked up his head. ?Naruto, Naruto? Are you okay?,? asked Hinata being concerned. Naruto started to come back from his black out, ?Huh what just happened?? Naruto opened his eyes and saw Hinata?s face; then he looked down and saw her figure in the swim suit she was wearing. He blacked out again in Hinata?s arms. She giggled and laid him down on the blanket. She could tell that he was still dazed. ?Hmmm, I think I might have something that might cure this,? Hinata thought out loud. She went over to the basket and opened it up. ?Now whose gonna eat all of this Ramen with me?,? asked Hinata. Immediately, as if someone flipped a switch did Naruto pop up and say, ?Ramen!?? Hinata laughed at Naruto for quite awhile, and then gave him a bowl with some chop sticks. I guess it?s true what they say about through a man?s stomach you can get his heart, thought Hinata while she was laughing still. ?It?s your favorite. I hope you like it!,? said Hinata. ?Thanks,? said Naruto as he took the bowl, ?Hinata. You?re the GREATEST!?

Naruto finished off his third bowl and was looking at Hinata now who was sitting across from him. Naruto was staring at her hard which made Hinata blush and feel uncomfortable. ?What is it, Naruto?,? she asked. Naruto said, ?Oh, I don?t know I?m just thinking. Hey Hinata, do you remember a few years ago when we went to go search for that bug?? ?Yes, why?,? replied Hinata. ?Well?,? Naruto said, ?I remember seeing this ultra hot babe dancing on the water in front of a water fall there;? Hinata immediately started to blush more and started to bring her hands up to her face. Naruto continued, ?And I was just thinking, seeing you here and all? was that you, Hinata?? Hinata gulped and nodded her head in agreement. Naruto got a glazed face with a little perverted grin. Then he came back to reality and said, ?REALLY? WOW! I really am the luckiest person on this planet now!? Naruto suddenly gave Hinata a big hug and Hinata?s blushing turned up a notch because Naruto never hugged her before without his shirt on. He stopped hugging her and said, ?Hey Hinata, Let?s go swim for a while, huh? That?s what we?re here for anyways right?!? Hinata giggled and nodded her head.
