hey been member here for a long while now, i don't know if this matter to neone else but i would like to see some improvment with the anime gallery , i don't think ppl pays it alot of attention, y don't u guys have competition on best drawing in a specific style , position , time or has this been done already n' i just really blind but i think that would be nice. Also could i write like tv show fanfics here and if so where do it submit them?

From what I know, this place is primarily a fan fiction site and not an anime gallery site (there are tons out there as it is).

Also this place, from what I understand, is an anime fan fiction site. Television shows, from what I can tell, are not included in that category.

So keywords: fan fiction, anime.

Admittedly i'm with you on the whole tv thing wicked. But the idea of competitions for the fanart drawings faintly appeals. You have to go through a lot of ...not so brilliant (in the nicest way possible) drawings to find the hidden gems inside that particular category.

A competition that pointed out some of the better drawings i think would be good. It wouldn't have to be very often at all. And i'm not saying have to do it, must do it. Just that i think it might be a postitve idea.

Just my opinion.

If we were to do a fanart hunt as it were, the art would have to be both of high quality in both content and the artwork itself. Also it would be prefreble to have it be fanfic inspireing work, that is the art could easily ignite the spark for someone to go and write a fanfic based on the picture.

I've added the ability for people to create personal galleries.

As for a fanart contest. I think that would be a great idea along with an icon/avatar contest/challenge.

We need more avatars. :-/

Who is an expert on fanart / challenges and would like to run it? I'll supply the prizes. I have doujinshi or can buy gift certificates to some place online.

what we need is more works by the best artist here plus we need to go for something like the best series contest out of the story forums. that's just my opinions. I've been on deviantart.com for a bit and have been working on a few things till I can find insparation to put more here.
