Inuyasha Manga From chapter 476 to END

For those of you who wished to hear about the spoilers from the currant Inuyasha Manga chapters I'll use this thread to post summeries every week until the end of the series.

This week I got a day early-so you do too.

This week's Chapter is #476 And for those of you who don't know what happened last week go look at page 4 of the "A Question about Inuyasha and Kagome" Thread for that. SOoo On with the spoiler!

Chapter 476: "Rival Tetsusaiga"

We begin with where we left off. The face off between Kanna's mirror youkai and our 'fearless' Inu-gumi. Inuyasha asks himself about the Tetsusaiga copy in the mirror youkai's hand and Miroku pipes up with a "Be careful Inuyasha, yada, yada..."

Inuyasha, having failed with the kaze no kizu* launches for the mirror youkai with an attempt at the Koungosouha...Which- dun-dun-dun...Also fails! (Bet ya didn't see that one coming, did ya?) Kanna lifts her hand to make a signal and the mirror youkai raises the faux Tetsusaiga up and swings it down with...The Kaze no Kizu erupting from it! (gee, how did that happen?)

Under Miroku's instruction-they all turn tail-make like fur and flee! (funny how they need to be told when to run.) And move to hide in a cave behind one of Miroku's "sturdy" barriers. Here they begin to discuss the reason why the real Tetsusaiga is not working compared to the copy. Miroku points out that this is Kanna's mirror-the mirror youkai probably sucked up all of the Tetsusaiga's yourouyoku ( youkai power ) and by doing so drained the real fang blade to the point that it was useless, only to return fire at them.

Shippou makes some dumb comment and gets Inu to ask if he's scared when the mirror youkai manages to show up at the entrance to the cave! ( woooo-ooooo scarrry...) and breaks through the houshi's barrier with a version of the Red Tetsusaiga. Sango tries to stall it by throwing Hiraikotsu into the ceiling for an avalanche effect while Kagome shoots it with her pretty little arrow. It appears that Kags' arrow fails, little do they know that by striking the mirror youkai they are striking Kanna herself-who is shown with a blackened crack in her neck where Kags' arrow had struck the mirror youkai.

Kanna makes another move and the mirror youkai has the copy Tetsusaiga go into Koungousouha mode. No one in the cave likes the looks of that-and Inuyasha leaps out telling everyone: "STAY BACK!" And smacks his Tetsusaiga against the false one to stop it from coming down and releasing the attack....

AND so we are left in the last panel with everyone gasping out the over-called out name: "Inuyasha!" till next week where we will either A. See Kanna's death, B. Witness an 18 page whipped battle between scruff and the mirror youkai-only to be ended by Kags or C. both. Soo- I'll catch ya up next week! TTFN!

Yeah, it's a day late- But Here is THIS WEEK'S TURN OF EVENTS!

Chapter 477: Inuyasha's Youkai Power

Where we last left off: to protect the other Inu-gumi, Inuyasha had lept out to try to repel the false Koungousouha spears using his Tetsusaiga. As he does for some reason it happens that no spears hit them, almost as if the spears were trying to avoid them. Inuyasha claims that it is because Tetsusaiga's kekkai (a barrier) is working.

From here he transforms into full-youkai-Inuyasha! And it's because of the influence of his youkai blood increasing by itself to guard him. But he doesn't lose control this time! (Squee!) His youryouku gets stronger and flows into Tetsusaiga. That power from him revives and enhances the sword.

He then runs up the mirror youkai and attacks its shoulder. Though the youkai itself sustains no injury, cracks appear on Kanna's shoulder where he whacked it. Byakuya deduces that she's receiving all the injuries that the mirror youkai has suffered.

And of course, observing the battle from afar, Naraku has the mirror youkai change it's faux Tetsusaiga into the dragon-scaled Tetsusaiga. The Inu-gumi fear that with Inuyasha's youketsu growing so big and the increase of his youryouku he'll be cut much more easily. But the mirror youkai can't seem to strike him because he's moving more rapidly too. Consequently Inuyasha is able to get another nasty smack to the thing's shoulder with his blade again.

Tune in next week as we find out what happens with this new Full Youkai Inuyasha and Kanna's life!

Oohh sounds like it's getting good! I still can't get over the fact that Sesshy's mom is alive though, and a full blooded dog demon to boot.

It's that time again people-This week's line-up still hasn't come out with a Kanna-Death, but you read and see:

Chapter 478: "The Mirror's Shadow"

Inuyasha slices the face of the mirror youkai! But-the mirror youkai heals. It's then that Kagome notices that Kanna is there-and not looking so hot. She realizes that Kanna has been recieving all the hard-core blows that the mirror youkai should have. She yells at the nahility to "Stop this! You'll die [pointlessly]!" Miroku, Sango and Inuyasha all join in trying to get through to her.

Byakuya rebukes them, saying they have more important problems to worry about, and that if he had been them he would have gone right for Kanna's life as soon as he realized that she was sustaining all the wounds. He then says to Kanna "Hey, don't get mad! I only said if I were them!" on reflex-but realizes Kanna really is nahility-and don't give a damn.

Kanna then makes a signal and a shadow of the outter rim of her mirror surrounds Inuyasha. Like the nimrod he is-he stands there contemplating it instead of moving and gets Sqaushed! As he is a full youkai, he can endure it. Miroku tells him to move it-the attacks coming again-so he springs away only to have the shadow follow!

He tries attacking it. Tetsusaiga bounces off like a reflection. Scruff finds himself glad that the faux Tetsusaiga had stolen the real one's power so he couldn't use the fang blade's yourouyouku-otherwise he would have been obliterated.

The shadow then comes down to smash him again and he holds up the blade to block it. Only the blade's barrier is working-but-with the pressure it's also cracking-as is Kanna's mid-section!

You see a little blurb of Naraku and he tells Kanna to keep it up till the fang is destroyed. "That's what you were born for." In the final panel Kagome realized Naraku's plot-but we have to wait till next week to see wth she does about it.

SO-tune in next time as we find out what or green miko heroine does to help her red full youkai hanyou....and the ever burning question: Will Kanna be annihilated?!

Time for this week's rundown of IY manga events!

Chapter 479: "The Nothing"

We open up with a full page view of the mirror youkai spewing down it's crushing attack on the cracking Tetsusaiga and it's full youkai owner. And immediately move to Kagome, or Miroku (hsrd to tell which) coming out and stating the obvious for us. "At this rate the Tetsusaiga will break!"

Byakuya figures out that Kanna is dying, and Kagsey takes the initiative and shoots the mirror that's creating the shadow. Kanna-I suppose to keep herself whole for now-removes the mirror and the shadow vanishes...She then uses the Faux Tetsusaiga's Kaze no Kizu and Inu promptly shoves up his blade to stop it. His fang blade cracks more.

He then (predictably enough) leaps up and goes straight for cutting the fake Tetsusaiga claiming he's going to get the blade's yourouyouku back. Kanna sacrifices an arm to keep her fake blade in tact. Everyone calls her stupid for doing it, tells her to stop-yadda, yadda...

Naraku's still watching all of this from somewhere-and laughs at them for trying to give sympathy to Kanna because she feels nothing as Scruff makes another attempt. Kanna leans over the blade to protect it this time, surprising the inu-gumi...why it's a surprise I don't know.

Scruff breaks through the mirror youkai's shoulder thereby causing Kanna to lose hers, and clashes with the fake blade. Inuyasha is thrown back at the blast of power that escapes the fake blade-next he looks up The Full youkainess has vanished from his face and his blade is pulsating with it's regained power.

We leave off in the last two panels with Kagome clinging to Inuyasha's shoulder, the revitalized Fang Blade and Kanna in all her cracked glory-standing beside the mirror youkai ready for a final face-off. What happens will have to wait till next week! Be sure to tune in!
