Better late than never describes me here. Well, it's been about 8 years since I first watched Gundam Wing. I must have been about 14 then and honestly, I was more interested in the mecha and intricate characters than 'romantic pairings'. I was a Quatre fan and hardly noticed the relationship between Heero and Relena until the last few eps of the series and Endless Waltz. Not because I was dense, but because my mind wasn't love oriented. Though I believe my heart skipped a few good beats on ep 48 (heheheh). I own all the Sandrock models and a very nice Wing Zero Custom
(ok off topic here...). I bought the last 2 issues of Blind Target at a local comic store and I know my heart kinda jumped out at the 'teaser almost kiss scene'. I guess I was a 1xR fan those many years ago. Back then, there wasn't much of a way to show my support except blabble it in school and have everyone think you're crazy. During my HS years, I was one of the few who watched anime...or any cartoons for that matter. The few then who said Gundam Wing sucked got nice verbal beating from me. Same goes for anyone now.A little background info about myself. Currently enrolled as an chemical engineering student because I didn't have any confidence in myself to go to mechatronics and attempt to build myself a Gundam ToT. The children in my family household have a rather militaristic upbringing and we're all quite 'war/battle' oriented in our own ways. I'm considered the databot who assesses the situation and spits out the most effective battle strategy (a living Zero System?). I've always admired Gundam Wing because the characters are so strong, yet very human. Unfortunately, I didn't have the skills to draw due to the fact science and math took up a lot of time.
Well, I've been fanarting other series for about 2 years now because it's kinda like a stress-reliever (and an alternative to homework..) at university. If not for the recent release of the Gundam Wing boxset, I would not be here. Watched the series with mature eyes-->1xR all the way!!!!!!! Err, I deviated greatly from my Pretear fandom and have diverted much focus and attention on Wing works.
Ahh...I stumbled upon this forum from fanfic.net ^_^ Missing By A Mile. I stayed up a very long night reading it. Enough said.
What else can I say about myself? I have posted some fanart on the forum and that's all the contribution I've done so far...I hope to continue adding to it (one can never get enough fluff around here i suppose). As for fanfiction, I'm started some works and hope to get them finished before the new semester starts.

Welcome to BI! You and I seem to be quite different (aside from a mutual love of GW and 1xR)... I'm a Communications major and hardcore pacifist, though my joking around (and love for Heero and Wufei) might lead you to believe otherwise. I have a lot of admiration for engineers... 
My boyfriend's sister is one, along with her husband. That's what my boyfriend was going to study to be, too, but he got into Comp. Sci. instead. But alas, I have no science or math skills...
