The battle raged on almost a mile out from the Sank Kindoms capitol Newport city as the times before this fight it was taken by the invadeing force but it's diffrent now.

"We stay and hold this point to the last man...No retreat" said Zechs as he slices through the enemy Virgos. "Rashid and the Maguanot corps. just made it and are at the second defence were the Raiders were." said Quatra as he blasts in to an enemy Cancer with his machine gun. The Raiders and the Gundams fought off the enemy force wile other ESUN military units were droped in.

By the end of the fighting the city was still in ESUN hands as all Zeon forces in the area were either destroyed or captured. The units that took part in it initial defence were awarded the Presidental unit citation. 1st and 2sn batalion were releved and waited to recive there new orders.

"We just got our orders?" asked Heero "Yeah...Zeon troops are evacuating Earth and are being redeployed to all the colonies in L4 that they first captured at the begining of the war. we and 2nd batalion have been reassined to the Peacemillion and the 6th fleet to liberate the colonies under Zeon ocupation." said Zechs "How long before were back in space?" asked Trowa "Were shipping out at the begining of next month." said Quatra.

The month past with virtual peace as Sally and Wu Fai got married after they got home, but the time came when they had to go back into the war. They kissed there wifes goodbye and hoped on the shuttle that took them to Peacemillion that was in orbit with the rest of the 6th fleet bound for L4 to cuonduct a counter offencive that may end the war.
