I know how often people read these things in the first place, so I'll try to keep it short.

My name's Tani, and I - gaspitals - don't write Gundam Wing fanfiction. Nor Inuyasha fanfiction. Nor, really, any fanfiction at all. In my younger, newbie days, I made the mistake of getting aquainted with writers such as Mel and Christy, Aspen in the Sunlight, Cassandra Claire - the sort of epic types you don't really find very often in fanfiction. At the time, of course, I didn't know that, and all I could see was how much my ideas and stories paled in comparison.
Now of course i'm horribly traumatised and cut myself at night. Enough with the back story.

Now, there is one thing I fancy I am really rather good at. This is what's known as "reading." Yeeees, I do that quite well. I'm also an editor for a grand majority of my friends, but that's neither here nor there. Anyway, I sort of live off the gw fandom, kind of consuming and wobbling about but never actually contributing. Kind of like those strange fishies that attatch themselves to sharks, only I don't have fins and the gw fandom (last time i checked) isn't underwater. I could be wrong.


Also: I am irrationally fond of the word "macademia." Just in case you wanted to know.

I'm familiar with Mel and Christy, though I only remember their shorter, comic fics during the days I was an active participant of the GW-fan ML.

Most of those authors at least used to hang out on GWAddiction.com. I haven't been there in a while, so I can't say if they're still active or not.

Epic fics you will find here. However, as I'm aware Melodrama informed you last night, not of the type you're used to reading.
