Chapter 2: Love and Hate

Andrew Orbecka stared at the ugly gray walls of his high school hallway as he proceeded to his locker. His emerald green eyes not really noticing what color the wall really was and his short. His brown hair just barely blocked his view of the ceiling as he walked. He got to his locker at a reasonable speed. Yet another world winning day at school. Why do I even bother to come anymore, the teachers have already figured out that I?d get A?s if I did the homework.

He opened his locker and wasn?t surprised to find a stack of water bottles and bits of food that had started to mold over. He pulled the few books in the locker off the top shelf and put them in his bag. Just as he was closing his locker a voice hailed him.

?Andy! how?s my good man today? Still working out I hope. You always did have a way to find time to work out.? Andrew turned to find one of his friends, Triden ?fireman? Lock, standing behind him with a donut in his hand. While Andrew was tall and skinny, but still built, Triden made Andrew look like a toothpick. His body appeared to be chiseled with definition on just about any muscle you could think of. Triden was called the ?fireman? by almost everyone for the reasons of his tendency to make explosions and his flaming red eyes.

?Hey, Tri, blown anything up lately? Or was your neighbors cat the end of it for a while?? Andrew?s tone unconcerned of the insult he just spewed.

?Of course not, I just got an old car from a junkyard the other day. Want to watch??

?No, I think I?ll pass I have a date this weekend, but if you have any C4 by next Tuesday I?ll be there.? Andrew let out a laugh that was only slightly less scary then a horror movie and said, ?I gotta go to class I?ll see ya later, Fireman.?

?Cool, later then?

Andrew started to walk towards the science wing near the west side of the school. Humor, wish I knew what other people feel humor like. Well for that matter happiness is something else I?d like to try. Andrew gave a quick look around the hallway and noticed three rednecks chewing by a locker. Two of them laughed at the thirds joke. How do feelings of people work? Is there an actual reason that is proven to show emotions actually exist anyway? So many damn questions and defiantly no answers. He had gone about half way to the science wing when a lighter voice called to him.

?Andrew, where have you been? I?ve been looking for you for most of the day already. You really shouldn?t skip classes like that.? He knew who it was without looking around. Almost like a sixth sense. Silvia Castolorine was Andrew?s girlfriend. Silvia came up to Andrew and look with her hazel eyes up into Andrew?s. The one women who could make you feel sorry for anything.

?Hey Sil, you still worried that I?m going to fail U.S. History.?

?Don?t you ?hey Sil? me, and if you fail U.S. History that would be the first sign of the apocalypse. I just missed you that?s all.? She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and fluttered her eyes at him.

?What? No, you love me, no slap on the face, no telling off. Man you?re losing your touch girl.? Who am I to talk about love? I can?t even feel happiness.

?Well I do love you, and you should know that by now. What I really want to hear is you say it back and I didn?t slap you because I?ve been having a really bad day and the last thing I need is you angry with me.?

?I can?t say I love you Sil, that?s a little out of my league for the moment. As for the bad day it can?t get to bad, were in the middle of school how can anything truly bad happen.? How can I say I love her if I don?t even know what love feels like. All I feel is my twisted sense of humor, anger, hate, and sorrow. Man, am I fucked up.

The science wing finally came into view and the conversation died there. They then proceeded to the chemistry room where their teacher was once again going to preach to them about nuclear weights and moles. As Andrew entered the room he noticed the usual people; the emo guy in the back with long hair blonde hair that covered his face, the preps in the front right corner, the jocks across from the preps, and the stoners in the back but far away from the emo kid. His own friends sat in the middle. There were only three of his friends besides Sil in this class. The identical twins Ben and Geled Lockhammer, both indistinguishable from the other with brown hair kept to the same length and position and their yellow eyes moving like a hawk for fresh meat. Both of the twins loved to go hunting and both were experts at tracking the prey they sought. His other friend was Sakura Hitsugaya. Japanese to the core and loved martial arts, Sakura could beat up everyone in the school at the same time and still come out on top. She wasn?t built or even all that strong but speed and endurance could carry her above everyone else. Her hair was kept short, only shoulder length to stay out of her way, and was blue in hue. Her eyes matched her hair in color and noticed everything that could be useful to her if she truly needed it. She, however, was a bit of a hot head at times and could give you a black eye if a misunderstanding broke out.

Andrew sat down on the right of Geled and Silva sat down next to him. The teacher did give anytime for greeting his friends though as she started right then. Yah, more stuff that I already know. Wait how do I know all of this stuff already. I?ve never had any classes or tutors so what?s up with this. Andrew, instead of listening to the teacher anymore, decided that he should catch up on some sleep that he had been missing due to playing games all night. He put his head down on the desk and was asleep within minutes of the start of class.
Someone, put her out of my misery, please
welcome to hell, have you meet my father, he's the one with the pitch fork and the horns.
in this life you have to learn to pull the trigger
Freinds are like potato chips, if you eat them, they die.
