I have a Creative Writing book that I had to buy, and it has a few pretty decent exercises that I'm sure can and will help all of us develop as better writers. I also have quite a few ideas myself (mostly from reading the book and thinking, Wha?? That's stupid. It should be THIS.) that I'll be posting as well.
Basically, I'll post one assignment at a time, and what you do is complete it on here. - Be sure to quote the assignment you're completing because others may come on later and want to do the first assignment when we're on number 4 or something.

We, as your fellow "classmates" (for lack of a better term), and this is the most important part, will then critique it nicely and point out what we both like and DON'T like. - Don't like is key, because while we all love praise, (which it DEFINITELY needs to be present here), I know that I am particularly grateful when I receive constructive criticism. In other words, give balanced reviews.
The assignments will vary in length, but never be too long.

But about lengths...
THEY ARE ARBITRARY. If I put a page length in the assignment, it's just for a rough estimate of direction/depth.

This is Blissful Ignorance, so in reference to the characters/plots of our stories/exercises that we write on here, they NEED to fall into step with the rules of BI.

So... Let's get cracking.
