Legendary Three

Hey, I have a question, you know how Tsunade, Jiraiya and Orochimaru are the legendary three because they were trained by the Sandaime?(Third hokage). Then how come Kakashi Rin and Obito aren't famous too? I know Obito died and I don't know what happened to Rin, but what about Kakashi, sure he has the whole 'Copy Nin' title but thats it, don't you think he should have more respect, like the other three.

To the best of my knowledge, the Sannin are so named not because Sandaime was their sensei, but because they were just that damn good/powerful. No one has really been able to match them in strength...yet. When they fight each other, it ends up being a stalemate, but even someone like Itachi is rather hesitant to go up against Jiraiya. Kakashi knows he can't beat Orochimaru even though that doesn't stop him from trying to threaten him.

Why aren't Obito, Rin, and Kakashi famous in their own right? Well...Obito kinda never got the chance to be famous. Rin is still somewhat a mystery so for all we know she is famous (OMG she's Sir Leader in Akatsuki!) and Kakashi is famous (and was at one time, I believe, a candidate for Hokage). Yes mainly for his whole Copy Ninja title, but hell, how many people has this man gone up against and survived (with the exception of Kabuto and Itachi)? Most people, friend and foe alike, do respect him. Enemies, when confronted with him, are rather excited to fight him and to me that is a sign of respect.

And face it, Kakashi's also famous for his love of the <i>Icha Icha</i> series. ~_^

O_o Rin's the leader of akatsuki????WTF?!?!?! are you serious? and I think Kakashi was also respected a bit, or people had high expectations of him because his father was the steel fang of Konoha or something haha it is true about the icha icha thing though lol and didnt anyone notices how similar some people are?? its funny Jiraiya-Kakashi-Naruto Tsunade-Rin-Sakura Orochimaru-Obito(kinda)(he is and Uchiha)-Sasuke

No Rin is not Sir Leader. I was just saying that because hell for all we know she could be since we don't know if she truly is dead or not (although Kakashi did tell Sasuke that all of his precious people were dead so I may have just contradicted myself).

Kakashi's dad was...oh hell I just had the name in my head but all I'm coming up with now are stupid American comic books names. *facepalm* White Fang comes to mind but then that was a "terrorist" group in Gundam Wing. <s>Mebbe White Fang knew about Konoha and were sekrit ninjas!</s>

Actually I wonder if anyone had any expectations of him (Kakashi) because of his father who was once respected but then was shunned because of a decision he made on a mission. I dunno, perhaps if I bothered to actually read the Kakashi Gaiden I would know a little bit more but since there was no Sakura in it I just went, "NEXT!"

Kakashi and Sasuke are more alike than Naruto and Kakashi. Obito and Naruto have more in common than Kakashi and Naruto. Rin is still too one dimensional for me to say either way to be honest.

Well im not so sure about kakashi and sasuke because kakashi is cool and (no offense to people who like him) sasuke is a bastard and ive looked online for a while but i cant find out what happened to rin...but i think she dies since what kakashi says. but the whole story with Jiraiya and Orochimaru to Naruto and Sasuke is so similar its not even funny, Orochimaru runs off, Jiraiya tries to bring him back and fails but i think he gives up so that cuts off the similarity with that because naruto never gives up on sasuke

Officaly, there has been no explination on Rin.

(I think dealing with that would be better then this current segment of the story in the magna but, oh well).

I hope they get to that some time this year, but I doubt it will happen.

True, maybe she just left like Tsunade did? But I don't really know...yeah
