Broken Lies (poem)

Post by angel222 »

Underneath grey skies and within these withered walls
The words of fools echo through my mind
The price for being the mess I have become
is hard to take

Enough is never enough
and the game we play
Is the one we can?t win
In the end we were all being fooled
from the very begin

The way we deal with ourselves is never graceful
Why we lie and change into something we never wanted
Only the mirror can tell
The true face we never wanted to see

Enough is never enough
and the game we play
Is the one with the highest price
In the end we were al lying to ourselves
from the very begin

Alright, so here's the story behind this. We were having a class-meeting because our teachers weren't happy about work. And so we were discussing the topic. And when I said my opinion, one guy in my class really said something hurtfull that was stil a very sensitive topic. And I pretty much cryed my eyes out on the hallway and when he passed me he just grinned in my face. I cryed for almost 2 hours and now felt like really beating the guy up. But instead I just wrote a poem about how much he hurt me
