Jurei, Sendo [7/?]

He came back to room 125 before 11:30. He vowed not to go home later than that because he knew she would be waiting for him. The lights were out as he entered the room, he had his own key now. He carefully closed the door behind him and walked slowly across the room.

Then he stopped, fear groping his heart as he saw the moon's glowing rays give him a clearer view of what lay on the floor. His sensitive smell sniffed the stench of something loathsomely familiar and the saltiness of tears hung in the air.

"Kagome?" he whispered, clearing the stray hair from her tear-stricken face as he gather her into his arms. She still brought that disturbing yet rousing warmth through his body but he could tell that she was indeed cold and hurt. He placed her down the bed and placed her hands at her sides. Staring at her in what seemed like years, he felt again the strange twist of confusion in his chest. The thought of her tears mixed the confusion with angst and made him swear to God that he would kill who ever hurt her or made her cry.

His presence woke her up, her glassy eyes locking stares with the door far across the room. She did not look at him or acknowledge his presence.

This irritated him so much. Her depressing silence provoked his anger as much as he wanted to comfort her.

"Why were you in the floor -you were crying!" he blurted out. "Why?"

Like he expected, she did not answer him. Furiously he started to unbutton his top and harshly lay beside her. She, patient as always, moved to give him some room but turned her back from him.

Inuyasha cursed aloud. "You are so unfair, angel! You and the things you do!"

Still she was quiet, holding all her emotions inside.

"Tell me! Tell me what's wrong," he said. He wanted to pound his fist on the space between them, the bounce probably would wake her senses up. "Tell me before I hate you for it."

When she did not move or say anything, he roughly grabbed her shoulder and turned her to face him. His fingers were clasped into her skin so hard he knew that she would have bruises the next morning. He was angry and she had better knew that he hated to waited. Her gaze was still torn from his.

"You anger me, Kagome! I want to beat you up right now!" he shouted against her face, making her tremble against his touch. "I want to hurt you, do you hear me? I want to make you bleed. Then you'd finally send me back to hell and then maybe you'd be happy!"

Her pupils met his and he almost got cold feet the way she looked at him.
"I can't send you to hell."

"Baka! Liar! Liars go to hell and? Angels aren't supposed to lie!"

She closed her eyes and bit her lower lip hard. "I already did and I didn?t die, did I?"

"Baka!" he shouted again, his grip intensifying. "I am so angry with you!"

"Then why are you here? Leave. You're still in my bed."

He cursed. "So what they say is true. Good people are the worst kind."

"They were right."

"Shut up!" he hollered. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because I can."

"You're terrible."

"I hate myself right now so be silent."

Inuyasha growled angrily. "I don?t like you very much either right now."

Kagome closed her eyes. "I know."

"You don?t! You don?t know anything!"

"I don?t care."

"Oh really?" he asked. He laughed, the sound frightening both of them. "You're a liar if you think you say that you don?t care. About me, that is. You're a good liar, Kagome. A very good one. I hate you for it."

"Then so be it-"

He crushed his lips against hers. "You almost sound so convincing, Kagome?"

Her eyes wide, she pushed him from her. A wild blush was painted across her cheeks.

"How could you ask me to leave your bed? This is our bed. I like sleeping with you," he said. He leaned closer, taking her wrists with his hands, making sure she could not push him away again. "Do you know why?"

Her eyes widened even more and she started to struggle against his grip. She knew best and kept her mouth shut.

"When we lay together and you're asleep," he whispered, a wicked grin on his face, his lips closing against hers once more. "It's the only time I know you're quite helpless."

He knew her feet were going to squirm but he was wise enough to lock her legs with his. He then pinned her down on the bed, her wrists on his hand up her head -she was indeed helpless as he straddled her. "I liked arguing with you, it was fun but?"

She closed her eyes and trembled as his hot breath licked her collarbone. "Inuyasha?"

"I? still want to see you happy," he said after pressing his lips between the valley of her breasts, making her moan out his name. His ears caught the heat in her voice, and the passion from his own. With his other hand he touched her face and let his hand feel the path from behind her ear to her heart. He smiled as his hand felt a terrible beating under his palm. "Your heart is so alive, Kagome."

"Inuyasha? please, stop," she whispered half-heartedly. She closed her eyes and tears slid on her cheeks.

Inuyasha kissed her tears and kissed her lips once again. "Oh Kagome? Your God knows how much I want you. How much I need you."

Kagome almost choked as his weight crushed her. She lay flat and passive, she found out that struggling would only worsen the situation.

"Don?t do this to me, angel," Inuyasha whispered as he slowly lay beside her again, keeping her wrists against his chest. He embraced her and settled against her warmth, nuzzling his face against her breasts. "It's your fucking fault, Kagome? You know we shouldn?t have met. You shouldn?t have interfered with Miroku and I? Look at them, he and Sango are hitting it off pretty good -without having premarital sex, just like you would want them."

She closed her eyes and tried hard not to feel comfortable having him rest his head between her chest.

Inuyasha kissed where her heart throbbed and slid his arms around her. "Why were you with me when? I was alone but I could have made it on my own. Damn me. I shouldn?t have asked to stay here in the first place."

Kagome looked at him and knew he was pouring his hanyou heart out -a very seldom moment in the history of mankind. It really was one of a kind since he was confessing not only to a human -but an angel. His words shot right through her heart and she was helpless. She could have held her retreating feelings, her apathy -but her true nature always sprouted out.

He still held her hands in his and it was then that she felt it moist, not because of her tears but because of his. He -the hanyou, Inuyasha -was crying. It only made her heart weaken even more for him. How could she have caused so much tears?

With all the feeling she could muster, she reached out her clasped hands to his face and embraced him, feeling him closer. She whispered soft sincere words of apology, telling him that their meeting was no accident. How could that be? Things always happened for a purpose. Fate is no accident.

Kagome could not help but feel a little relieved to feel that his arousal had left, she had sensed it the moment he began kissing her. The thought of making love with Inuyasha sent different courses of emotions throughout her body. That was not for tonight, she decided. But there would be a next time, she knew it but dismissed the thought and focused on his white head.

She took a deep breath as she felt him breathe deeply, a sign that he was beginning to sleep. Closing her eyes, she wanted to rest. The tension for this night had been too much -two demons in her room and making her human emotions get to her.

Never once did she turn her back on obligation to human beings. Not that she was doing it for something in return but she simply did things to please the Big Boss. She loved doing that, it was her passion. But being half-human was not her fault and she never thought that the risks would be great.

To err is human, to forgive is divine.

Maybe this would finally apply to her now.

This was an amazing chapter! I could just feel the emotion running
through them the whole time, Kagome's blank demeanor also made me
very uneasy, bu then Inuyasha fixed it all up. The choice of words was a
little intense, I guess he must have been really angry. I'm glad he
confessed some things to her, he needed to let them out and she needed
to hear them. Wow, I'm glad that so far Miroku's behaving himself.
Kagome can not resist Inuyasha, he is soo cute and obviously he's
becoming infatuated with her!
I can't wait for the next chappy!
