My Neverland

The rhythmic sounds of hearts that fall,
A single tear of those, to all.
I?m lost within the enrapturing eyes,
That held me close, only to call.
I?m singing days of sadness,
Crystal tears of loneliness;
I seep within the path of dark,
And hark amongst the emptiness.
Along the path I walk alone,
Until a light begins to fade.
The only hope I came to know,
Had slowly burned away.
You?ve slipped between my fingertips,
Like the gentleness of sand.
The waves lapping against my ankles;
Please, just take my hand.
The hole that lies within my heart,
Cannot be healed by time.
You?re the only thing that lets me breath,
The only one that sees right through.
The pain inside wont die away,
Until I see your face someday.
So someone hold me in these lies,
And slip me into Neverland.
The promises of love, of blood,
Pull me underneath these years.
The lies I?ve told to see you near,
To hear your voice inside my ear,
Its nothing if you will only disappear.
There?s not a moment that passes,
That I don?t think of you.
You?re like a disease inside my soul,
That I never want to leave.
Just crystallize the fears inside,
And harden them to gold.
Sing with me of this life I fear,
Of the future that will unfold.
I will not watch the barrier break;
Nor the scars upon my wrist.
Not anything I long to feel,
To loose my to this bliss.
I?m stuck inside this world without you here,
And there?s nothing I can do.
Just listen to the calls at night;
Watch the black ink on the borderline;
The pictures of you in my mind,
And slip off into my Neverland.
