Angel's Tale [5/? | R]

Post by Leia Avenrose »

Disclaimer: I don?t own Inuyasha, I only own the storyline. The characters belong strictly to their rightful owner. And unfortunately that?s not me. The title of the story belongs to Hyde, lead singer of L?Arc~En~Ciel, and the chapter title is from the Naruto OST. Lyrics taken from JET CITY WOMAN by Queensryche; they?re old school and if you?ve heard of them, WOW. And yes, yes, scene two is a semi-songfic like scene. Song used is Apocalypse Please by the oh-so-talented-and-whiny Muse!
Dedication: Ice Princess and Mellie, along with takisha16

AN: Why do I have this sudden urge to make an OST for this story? Mm, Metallica is good angry music for battle scenes? oh my? enjoy!

Chapter Five ? Sadness and Sorrow
Every time I leave,
You say you won?t be there;
And you?re always there;

Every time I cry your name at night,
You pull close and say it?s all right;
I look in your eyes, just like the rain,
Washing me, rain wash over me;

Touching your face, I feel the heat,
Of your heartbeat echo in my head like a scream;
What you do to me!

Waited so long, I can?t wait another day without you

His voice was soft, his words a broken whisper. He kept his lips nuzzled against her ear, dragging them along her cheek, then back to her ear, the whispers continuing. They were all bathed in eternal darkness, and through a small hole in the ceiling, the moon was full and bright high up in the midnight sky. He clung desperately to her limp corpse, his body rocking them to and fro. White ears smeared in dried dirt were flattened down atop his once pristine white hair. What were they going to do now? How were they going to open the door, when the woman in his arms was dead and already ice cold?

Just the feel of her skin beneath his palms brought a fresh assault of tears.

The two humans sat as far away as they could, both lost in their own grief, clinging to each other, trying to gather strength from one another. From the outlook of things, nothing was going to get better and by the time they would finally get out of this hellhole, the dead female would be six feet under the earth.

?Wake up,? came his distressed voice for the fifteenth time that night. ?Wake up. Wake up. Please ? I?m begging you, wake up. Don?t ? d-don?t do this to me.?

The young woman gave no reply. If anything, her head fell forward, sliding down off his shoulder to rest against his chest. Inuyasha felt his chest heave, the sob a soft torn howl falling off his trembling lips. He didn?t care what they thought of him, he didn?t care if he lost it and killed everything, everyone in sight; nothing was going to bring her back, she was forever lost to him. Killing them all would only numb his pain for a second; that wasn?t enough.

Naraku?s minions, in their search for them, had trampled the Tree of Ages long before the defeated were able to take their places in the underground tunnels. The hanyou was beyond going out into the forest to touch the tree in hopes of reaching her one last time.

Another howl entered the air, louder this time, followed by more broken sobbing. His grief was unfathomable and it showed with every single tear he shed. He tightened his grip on the female, holding her closer, and buried his face into her shoulder, sobbing loudly. The sobs rose into keen wailing. He rocked her back and forth, sobbing over and over, soaking her blood-dried shirt with salty tears. The upset hanyou sat like that for what seemed like hours before a gentle hand touched his shoulder, startling him.

Inuyasha whimpered pitifully, lifting his head but never loosening his grip on Kagome. Her face stayed pressed into his shoulder. Sango looked down at him; tears staining her pale cheeks.

Her chin quivered as she spoke, her own voice emotion-torn. ?We ? we have to get out of here at least by dawn, Inuy??

Abruptly his vision swam and all he saw was red. Inuyasha never gave her a moment to finish her sentence.

Sango felt the wind rush past her face, immediately followed by the claws digging into the tender skin of her throat. She landed roughly on her back against the rocky ground, Inuyasha straddling her hips. The wind was knocked right from her lungs, and the moment her body slammed into the ground, her back arched as her mouth opened wide and she choked out for air.

Inuyasha snarled incoherently, the flash of red in his eyes recognizable even in the darkness shrouding them.

Sango began to panic, trying to cry out. She fought to get her breath, while struggling beneath the angered hanyou. She clawed at his hands, his wrists, trying desperately to pry his fingers from her throat. She was sucking in sharply, trying her best to at least get some bit of air. A sharp pain pierced her neck, and another, then another. Inuyasha growled. He began to pant heavily, feeling the rage inside building more and more the harder he squeezed her throat. He could feel everything inside snapping; his mind was numb, his thoughts completely lost.

?Inuyasha! Stop this, release her!?

Miroku had scrambled blindly to his feet the moment he heard the half-demon snarling. He ran forward, shouting at him to get a hold on himself. Gold gleamed in the moonlight. In the distance of his mind, beneath the haze of fury and thirst for blood, he heard bells jingle. Inuyasha threw his head back, letting out a deafening roar. The moonlight streamed past his face as his head was thrown back. The two humans knew there would be no stopping him now; there was no stopping him the moment the faint streaks appeared on his cheeks, or when the red entered his eyes.

The roof trembled as the transformation began to take place and Inuyasha gave another thunderous bellow. Dirt began to rain down on them. Sango continued to suffocate, her legs thrashing out behind the beast on top of her. She began to slap at his upper arms, the sounds coming from her open mouth strangled. Her fingers caught in his hair and she used her last ounce of strength of jerk his head down, ripping long strands from his scalp. She clawed madly at his face, which only furthered his rage.

Inuyasha leaned down further; pushing his face hard into the trapped girl?s beneath him and screamed. Over and over he screamed. Suddenly he roared out in pain. Bells jingled sharply from behind. Miroku held his ground, the staff held firmly in his hand. Where the monk had attacked the animal straddling the woman on the ground, there was an indent in the large golden ring at the head of the staff.

?Listen to me, Inuyasha,? Miroku said slowly, trying to keep his voice calm, trying to push out the strangled sounds. ?Killing Sango will not bring Kagome back. You have to face the reality that is now. Killing us will not turn back time; it won?t bring her back. Get a hold of yourself, Inuyasha! Use this fury to beat Naraku, not your comrades. You?re only doing what Naraku wants you to do; you?re letting him win, Inuyasha, and you have to stop this instant!?

Sango suddenly went still. Her hands fell away to land on the ground.

Miroku let his eyes shift for just a fraction of a second. Inuyasha launched himself at that moment, snarling. The monk was barely able to dodge and clumsily rolled to the left. His foot caught on an upturned root and he cursed viciously, trying to scramble to his feet and move out of the way of his companion?s next attack. Inuyasha growled low in his throat, his upper lip curled in disgust. Beads of saliva trailed down his chin from his mouth, his fangs having elongated and propped out over his bottom lip. He tracked the monk?s movements easily through the dark and seeing the monk up on his feet and shuffling back, golden staff in hand and out in front as if it would protect him against the beast stalking him, Inuyasha flexed his hand, his knuckles popping as his claws grew some more.

?Stop this, Inuyasha! We?re allies! Why would you attack a friend? Why?? Miroku asked, his tone pleading, as he backed away quickly.

?You killed her!? Inuyasha shouted in response. Roaring, he flew forward, his speed impressive, claws out and eager to pierce tender human flesh.

Miroku stumbled back, from both the accusation as well as the intimidating charging beast. For a brief moment he caught a blurred movement of red from his left and moved his stance sideways in hopes of dodging. Pain seared brightly across his right cheek and the startling jolt caused him to lose his grip on his staff. The golden rod clattered noisily to the ground. Miroku held his hand to his stinging cheek, hissing, his vision distorted from the pain.

?Damn ? you,? Miroku whispered fiercely, tears escaping his eyes at the sting. Blood trickled down his jaw and neck, squeezing out through the cracks of his fingers.

Inuyasha moved towards him slowly, stalking his prey, blood-red eyes narrowed, the hunger evident. He ran his tongue over a fang, groaning at what the taste of the monk?s blood would feel like on the inside of his mouth, and flexed his claws at his side. Miroku staggered back onto the ground roughly. He tried to break his fall with a hand, and felt the quick twinge shoot up the length of his arm. With one hand to his cheek, the other almost useless and feeling numb from the sprain, he tried to shuffle away from the advancing beast.

The moment his back hit the cavern wall, he lost his breath at the naked thought and image of his guts being plastered along the rocky surface.

Sesshomaru could smell the death and burning fires from miles away. It tickled his nose. Squinting his eyes, he saw through the distance the heavily blackened smoke rising up from the grounds below. For a brief moment, a rare form of panic gripped him. He wasn?t sure what to think. He was always in control, of his lands and of his people. No one ever dared defy him. No one ever dared to harm his populace or infringe onto his domain. They knew of the punishment if they were caught, and to be dealt a deadly sentence by the hands of the Great Lord of the Western Lands was to die a death so horrible it was unimaginable.

Gliding slowly through the air, he paused, his eyes resting on the large flames licking the air. The stench of charred flesh did nothing to calm the increasing dread.

The closer he got, the more he could see, and the tighter the knot in his chest twisted.

Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes. From where he was, he could see the Court walls in ruin. Half of the Temple had collapsed. The dark rich red roof plating lay broken among the burning debris scattered along the Courtyard. He bit back the growl, trying to keep his rage from rising out and taking control. Sesshomaru continued to head for the Temple, his pace faster now. As he came closer and closer, he could hear the panicked screams of servants, the hunger grunts of the minions Naraku had sent out. He saw it all, he heard it all.

His eyes flashed red, and almost as if they had a mind of their own, his claws extended. The tips grew faint green, the poison ready to be released.

Declare this an emergency,
Come on and spread a sense of urgency;
And pull us through,
And pull us throught,
And this is the end;
This is the end of the world

Servants everywhere screamed wildly, running past him as he touched ground, paying no heed to their master. He stood still, surveying the area, searching the ruins. Tilting his head back, he sniffed at the air, trying to distinguish the difference between the smells of the humans racing around him, and the demons roaming freely nearby. Much blood had been spilt; it coated everything, even the water in the fountains was running watery crimson. Sesshomaru growled loudly, his upper lip curling back, his eyes flashing dangerously. They would pay. He?d make sure of it, even if it killed him, he would make whoever trespassed know they had just made the worst mistake of their lives.

Gradually he began to move towards the Temple. The deck was strewn with bodies, torn limbs, and burnt, broken wood. The mesh screens flapped violently in the strong gusts of wind. Coming straight in his direction, a young female was screaming for help, her arms wrapped around her lower half. Behind her, a large demon in the shape of a minotaur rampaged after her, snarling, a large battle-axe lifted above his head.

Sesshomaru continued to hold his ground. He would not run, not from those who were in the process of killing off his people and his lands.

The moment the servant saw her Lord standing tall and unafraid in front of her, fresh tears burned her eyes. The pain had numbed her abdomen. She fought to keep her insides from spilling out as she forced herself to keep running. She could feel the intestines, slippery with blood, rubbing against her fingers and the inside of her palms. Sesshomaru kept his eyes on the girl in front of him coming closer and closer with each second.

?My Lord?please!? she wailed, feeling relieved.

Sesshomaru unexpectedly grabbed her around the waist with an arm, wrapping her close, and spun swiftly. Tensaiga eagerly cut through dark skin like a hot knife through butter. Black blood sprayed along the air. The demon roared out in pain, never having anticipated that the Great Lord was so fast. The battle-axe above his head fell first, followed by his upper body. Cleaved right through the middle, his legs buckled at the knees before the lower half finally collapsed to the grass.

The girl sobbed softly into his shoulder. Seeing that she was spilling blood all over his magnificent robes, she struggled to pull away, but Sesshomaru wouldn?t have any of it. He tightened his grip on her, quickly moving off to the side near a crumbled fountain and gently lay her back to rest against the debris.

?Rin?tell me where Rin is,? he commanded, staring hard at her. Before she could reply, his ears twitched sharply. Tensaiga sang an eerie song. The silver blade gleamed beautifully in the firelight. Sesshomaru lifted an arm against the spray of blood, protecting the dying servant.

Another minotaur-like demon growled softly as he lay in two halves a few paces away. Sesshomaru kept his eyes on the servant, breathing heavily, waiting her reply.

She tried to stammer, but blood was starting to pour out of her mouth. ?J-J?Jakken??

?Rin!? Sesshomaru roared in her face, suddenly feeling his self-control snap. ?I asked you where Rin was! TELL ME!? He was looming close, his eyes a faint red, the gold of his iris? going in contrast.

It?s time we saw a miracle,
Come on, it?s time for something biblical,
To pull us through,
And this is the end;
This is the end of the world

Unable to speak anymore, the servant girl brought up an arm with great difficulty and pointed a trembling finger towards the ruined Temple. Sesshomaru followed with his eyes, nodded, and before the girl knew what had happened next, she could no longer feel any pain. Her body gradually toppled to the side, eyes rolling into the back of her head. Sesshomaru extracted the claw he had pierced her throat with, severing the main jugular, while at the same time spreading the poison through her bloodstream, killing her instantly.

He absently stroked a hand over her cheek in wordless apology and rose. He cursed the day Naraku had been born into their world.

Facing the temple, he began to move forward. Demons roared angrily from every direction. Tensaiga pulsed against his hip, eager to be unsheathed and plunged into a body. Sesshomaru casually stroked her hilt, soothing her thirst to a minimal. He was aware of the beasts stalking him. They hid within the bushes, behind the trees. They watched his every move; they knew him well. Their master had warned them of the Great Lord of the West.

The hordes in hiding, eagerly awaiting the Great Lord, watched in silence. Their brothers continued to stalk the remaining servants and with each frightened, desperate scream that entered the night only to be cut off in a watery strangle; it made them shiver in sadistic delight. Their mouths watered for the human flesh, to taste their sweet blood beneath their tongues. The larger demons of the horde kept to the shadows, while the snake-like demons moved in on the servants, raking their poisonous claws along tender skin, before sinking their dripping fangs into the fallen corpses.

Sesshomaru snarled softly, easily cleaving through the four snake demons that stepped in his path to block him off. They hissed out in pain as Tensaiga sliced through their torsos. They all hit the ground simultaneously, their limbs twitching, fingers grasping air even in death for moments before finally going still.

Just as he came to the debris, corpse littered staircase that led up to the deck; at that moment the hordes hiding rushed out towards him. Battle-axes and curved swords were lifted in the air or brought out to the side in hopes of getting the first hit. Sesshomaru whirled at the sound of thundering hooves. Tensaiga wailed the moment she pierced through the first long, broad body, and then through the second.

They charged him with no stop.

Leaping over the fallen corpses of their comrades, the demons howled in fury, intent upon having his corpse brought specifically to their master at his request. Sesshomaru sneered momentarily. Twisting his torso, he dropped down to his hunches, and charged. He met the horde head-on, screaming out in rage. Red filled his eyes. The streaks across his cheeks pulsated. The ground trembled briefly, paused, and suddenly, as if hit with a deadly earthquake, the land split up through the middle.

The bones in his body shifted, popping as they grew in length and size.

A large dog demon came up from behind the hordes crowding the Great Lord, twisting two deeply curved katanas in his hands with ease. Just as he charged, bounding clear over his comrades? heads, he threw his head back, howling to the full moon above. Sesshomaru, too lost in his transformation, too lost in the heat of the battle surrounding him, met the howl with his own. Tensaiga swung left, then right, slicing through the demons torsos, even decapitating some. She was hauntingly beautiful, gleaming brightly in the moon, streaked through and over in crimson and wet black blood.

As her master spun in mid-swing, she was brought up from a sharp arc, slicing through the deadly demon from groin to hairline. Tensaiga felt the wind rush past her followed closely by the taste of the next demon?s blood streaking along her blade as she cut through the lower torso, spilling blood and innards to the night. She fed to her master the power and heightening rush of hunger further with each kill she made.

From all around the demons fell at her blade, one by one.

The dog-demon continued to charge.

Sesshomaru flew to the left, dodging the oncoming swing of the deadly katanas. Rising high into the air, his transformation far from complete, he used the heads of the demons below as leverage, leaping from one to the other, sidestepping out of the path of the katanas as they were swung in his direction once more. Tensaiga itched to pierce the flesh of this demon. Her master knew her impatience and he made no move to subdue her as he was feeling the same eagerness; he wanted blood, he wanted to taste it, to feed off it. As he was dodging another attack, he smelt something sharply familiar in the air. The startled cry that followed caused him to pause in his transformation and actions of evading the dog-demon.

Rin stood in the demolished doorway of the Temple, just at the top of the stairs, an arm wrapped around her lower torso. Leaning heavily into the snapped doorframe, she screamed out his name again, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her hair was disheveled, her face stained in soot, tears and blood.

Proclaim eternal victory,
Come on, and change the course of history,
And pull us through,
And pull us through,
And this is the end;
This is the end of the world

Sesshomaru went to reply but whatever words came out were strangled. The look of surprise was priceless. With his face streaked in splattered crimson, the red had faded quickly from his eyes, leaving just wide golden orbs. Beneath the blood, his skin was pallid. The dog-demon threw his head back, howling in triumph. He dug the katanas further in, spilling more blood. Sesshomaru sucked in sharply only to cough out, blood spilling over his lips.

The dog-demon lifted the Great Lord by his katanas, both impaled in his broad chest.

Sesshomaru felt his hand tremble, his grip loosening on Tensaiga. She cried out to him, tried to give him strength, but he wasn?t hearing any of it, too lost in the numbing pain spreading rapidly across his chest and back. She screamed to him, her scream matching that of Rin?s, as she fell through the air to the grass to lie there among the corpses and blood. Sesshomaru felt his body jerk. He couldn?t feel a thing. The dog-demon slowly brought the Great Lord close to his face and pressed his snout into the blood-soaked chest.

Just before the dog-demon could rip the katanas from Sesshomaru?s body and grab him in mid-air to sink his fangs into his flesh, Sesshomaru threw his head back, and shouted out his foe?s name in a loud angered snarl, ?NAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKUUUU!?

* * *

Kouga paused suddenly, tilting his ear skyward. Behind him, his clansmen were leaping from tree to tree, rock to rock. At the sharp motion of their leader?s hand, they crouched immediately, eyes narrowed, ready for what awaited them, ready for their leader?s next command. Crows flew off in a flurry, startled by the sharp sound that had carried.

?What is it?? one of the clans? members whispered.

Kouga furrowed his brow, silver eyes quickly assessing the area. ?I ? am not sure. I could?ve sworn?? He let his voice trail off and shook his head, rubbing his brow. ?We have to keep moving. Kagome?s in danger. We can?t let Naraku get his grubby hands on her or else she?ll be turned into his personal puppet.?

?Where are we headed??

?To a village in the North.? Kouga pointed straight in front of them. ?Sesshomaru knows where they are, and from our discussion, it makes sense. Naraku has left that village for last. If he?s been unsuccessful in finding them yet, then this is going to be the last place where they?ll be.

?We?ve got to keep moving. We?ve got to reach the village at least by early dawn. We know this area better then our good old buddy, Naraku, does.? Kouga turned to the broad wolf on his left, pursing his lips. ?Do you remember the entrance to the underground tunnels??

Kamei was a broad wolf demon, his upper torso made of hard muscle. He kept his claws sharpened daily, and always ran with the pack barefoot, while the others wore boots made out of heavy fur. His eyes were a deep green, his hair cut short to his ears and ebony. He had been born into the pack many winters ago, and was known for his sense of direction, along with his strength. Kamei searched his leader?s eyes in thought, silent a moment.

Slowly he nodded. ?I do. It?s behind the village. You enter from the Northern Mountains; there?s an entrance through there. There are individual entrances throughout the village. The humans felt the need to have another means of escape if a raid were to ever fall upon the higher Houses residing there.?

Kouga nodded curtly, lips twitching into a smile. ?You know your stuff. I?m glad you joined us on this journey.?

Kamei returned the smile with a toothy one of his own and looked back out. The rest of the clan moved forward slowly to huddle behind their leader and his second hands. Kouga glanced back at them briefly before looking back in front. The Northern Mountains were more suited for demons that were easily adaptable to the climate. The icy gusts of wind had begun to tear at their cheeks and limbs roughly fifty paces ago. They were entering territory completely not their own. Kamei looked up at the sky and noted the full moon. He pointed it out to his leader, frowning faintly in thought.

?The moon is beginning to set. If we don?t hurry, we won?t make it to the back entrance.?

Little did they know, as the clan set out after their leader, that they were being stalked.

The tiny bird perched on a low branch tilted its head, watching after the group. It opened its beak and gave a soft squawk, the golden eyes shifting to a bottomless black. Naraku smirked in the darkness of his chambers, fingers tightening on the arms of his tall chair as a shiver ran down his spine at the image of their corpses splattered along the walls and grass came to mind. Silken black curls brushed along his cheek as his head tilted. He continued to watch through the bird?s eyes, and abruptly threw his head back. In the blinding flash of lightning that lit the entire room, Naraku laughed loudly, the sound sinister to those occupying the room with him.

?The fools,? he drawled softly, leaning back in his chair. He absently waved a hand and a dark hooded servant came forward and took the crystal globe transmuting back what the bird saw away, slipping back easily into the shadows coating the length of the walls.

Naraku looked out from the corner of his eye to the hunched figure. She wore a loose kimono, her black hair long and hanging forward along the front and back like a curtain of beautiful ebony. Soulless brown eyes stared at the floors. Beneath the left lapel of the girls? kimono, a faint glow emitted through the thin fabric.

?Kagura, you know what needs to be done.? The girl in the kimono jerked slightly at the sound of his voice, and Naraku looked fully at her, his tone soothing, yet as ominous as ever, ?Your time will come soon, fear not. Just ? one more ? day.?

He smiled in the darkness, satisfied as the figure went still again, only wobbling for a moment. As the lightning ripped across the skies, and thunder shuddered through the ground, Kagura slipped out in silence onto the outer decks of the Temple, slipping the fan discreetly into her sleeve.

You...did not....just kill off....my man....

<--- In a world where anime characters are real and snowballs thrive in hell, this icon would be a picture of said man. Can you not read my demented caption?

;_;

:pale:

Dammit, there are just not enough emoticons for my angst. So I'll just use words.

WWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*hiccup*

SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently, Leia, you think these IY characters are the ducks in 'Duck Hunt'. Remember that video game? Ya know, I never really played it all that much, it took me so long to beat Mario Bros. And don't even get me STARTED on Zelda!

Uh...yeah.

SERIOUSLY!!! Is this your version of 'Final Desination'?!?!?!? Are they ALL going to die???? It seems Sango's pretty much dead, Miroku has a split second to confess before he bites the big one (or should I say, the big one bites him. Snap out of it, Inuyasha!) Kouga's getting taled by Naraku's sinister demon bird 'camera phone' wannabe, and Kagura seems nothing more than an empty shell.

WTF!!!!!>??!?!?!??!?!!>!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!>!?!?!?

I get it, I get it. This is all just one big dream sequence!!! By Chapter 12 Ah-Un is going to wake up, wonder why he was dreaming about death and destruction, not to mention people he's never met, then Rin'll swing a wreath of flowers over his head, Jakken will call her stupid, and then the entire Sesshou-gumi will walk off into the sunset and jump into the air just like 'Anchorman'.

*As voiced by Ron Burgundy* Naraku's Poisonous Insects, I KNEW IT!!!!!

So yes, I'll keep this little secret to myself and let every other reader wallow in the endless ocean of PURE, HARROWING ANGST you so effortlessly create with your devious, but compelling plot twists of doom. And for once, there's no exaggeration, they really *are* plot twists of doom.

Suck! But alas, you and I both know that in the end every will be coming up roses. Or daisies. What does Rin pick again? Whatever!

Oh, and BTW, was that other dog demon a random dog demon, or an actual character we should be on the lookout for in future chapters?

I'm sorry to be writing again, but I just had this disturbing thought:

Just before the evil-random dog demon ate him, Sesshoumaru shouted.

"Naraku's Poisonous INSECTS, that hurt!"

Kouga paused suddenly, tilting his ear skyward.

"What is it?" another wolf asked. Kouga shrugged.

"I'm...not sure...I could've sworn..." he shook his head "....that I love Scotch! Scotchy-scotch-scotch! Here is goes down! Down to my belly!"

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
ok, I just woke up my parents in the hotel were in, but I don't care! jajaja
I took a trip to argentina with my parents and sis monday at 4am and I've been stuck here all week! I had allot of fun, but I really missed this forum!
The minute I got a chance to get near some technology in the freaking forest we are in I went into BI to find that Leia had posted another chapter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *_*
Okay, first I was really happy, and then I read your dedication and I am sincerely moved by it, I began jumping up and down at 1:30 in the morning here and woke up my sis! jajaja it was hilarious.
Anyways....I really loved this chappy!! I also wanted to say that I think Metallica rocks and its great you got into angry music! yay for that!
Also I really enjoy how you describe Inuyasha's grief, it was really heart breaking to read how he dealt with kags death!
I felt really scared for Sango at one point though, I mean, I hope he doesn't do that much damage! Although, as always, Miroku to the rescue!
Now for Seshy: I totally agree with ICE PRINCESS, yeah they killed seshy. I just didn't see that one coming, I mean, he looks so invicible and stoic, like Heero!
I loved how you portrayed Seshy's sensible side when he took care of one of his servants. I also think that I would ahev payed to be able to see Seshys face when he saw Rin! :cry: :cry:
Yeah....I just can't belive he's dead!!
I reallly realllllllyy hate Naraku right now :evil:
Welll, whats not to hate, anyway I'm rambling, but all in all (which is :eek:) the fic rocks, and the way you're taking it is just magnificent. I know we are all on the edges of our seats and I seriously cannot predict where this is going! For the first time, I have no idea were it will go or lead...now all I can do is wait :D
Man, just like my uncle tells me to donate some of my hair (since he is bald :roll:) , I want more creative brain cells! Lei, will you be my donor??? please??
patiently waiting for more!!!!!!!!!!! :salute:

ice princess wrote:Apparently, Leia, you think these IY characters are the ducks in 'Duck Hunt'. Remember that video game? Ya know, I never really played it all that much, it took me so long to beat Mario Bros. And don't even get me STARTED on Zelda!
I used to love that game, Duck Hunt. Supposedly there was a way in that game where you could move the ducks; I believe you had to have the 2nd controller hooked up and while the 1st player was trying to shoot at the ducks, you could manuever the ducks out of the 1st players' path by controlling them with the 2nd controller. I've yet to try... :evil:

ice princess wrote:SERIOUSLY!!!

If I told you that they were all going to die by the end of the story ... you'd believe me. EVERYONE would. So, I think it best to just not say anything to that! :) I hated Final Destination, even the sequel was stupid, except for the highway pile-up part, that was cool. IS Sango really dead? You also had to have realized by now that she's pregnant, too, so ... in this case, what will become of the child? DUNDUNDUNDUN! She's been cut off from air, oh noes!~

Miroku; ah, well, he'll confess in those last two seconds of his life before good ol' Inuyasha rips his throat to shreds with his claws, then proceeds to feed off the monk's insides like it's Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, mashed potatoes and cream corn. *nodnod*

There's really only one person who can snap Inuyasha out of this deadly transformation, but ALAS ... she is dead herself, so boo-hoo. :) MOWHAHAHAHAHHA!

Later chapters will explain the camera-phone bird wannabe, don't you worry your little head off, m'dear! :) And good ol' Kagura. Ah, well, there's more to her then meets the eye. But what concerned me most was the girl in the loose kimono with the soulless brown eyes. WHO was she, really? Why was she there? Who knows if we'll find out in the next installment.... *_*
ice princess wrote:I get it, I get it.
I ain't never seen Anchorman. I don't think I want to. Everyone at work, including my boyfriend speaks of that movie, but meh, I'm not one for comedy movies unless it's a romance-comedy, I loathe PURE comedy movies altogether. Ah-Un ... I never really figured out much about them, never saw them much in the parts of the series I watched, maybe with a little research ... Chapter 12 will be written as you claim it to be, with Rin swinging her good ol' wreath of flowers onto his head and Jakken calling her stupid and all that... we'll never know...

ice princess wrote:Oh, and BTW, was that other dog demon a random dog demon, or an actual character we should be on the lookout for in future chapters?

Anyways....I really loved this chappy!! I also wanted to say that I think Metallica rocks and its great you got into angry music! yay for that!
Also I really enjoy how you describe Inuyasha's grief, it was really heart breaking to read how he dealt with kags death!
You're very welcome! :) Metallica DOES rock. I grew up on them; hell I think just about everyone grew up on Metallica, including Scorpions, Guns N' Roses, all that junk, including KISS. xD HAHAHAH! I teared up, too, when I was reading through the first scene with Inuyasha and Kagome... Sigh.
takisha16 wrote:I felt really scared for Sango at one point though, I mean, I hope he doesn't do that much damage! Although, as always, Miroku to the rescue!
I ain't scared for her at all. If she dies, she dies. One less character to worry about! :evil: :evil: :evil:

takisha16 wrote:Now for Seshy: I totally agree with ICE PRINCESS, yeah they killed seshy. I just didn't see that one coming, I mean, he looks so invicible and stoic, like Heero! I loved how you portrayed Seshy's sensible side when he took care of one of his servants. I also think that I would ahev payed to be able to see Seshys face when he saw Rin!
Sesshy DOES look practically invincible. He even acts it, like he doesn't have a care in the world. Mind you, Rin just makes him utterly weak in the knees with her gorgeous little human appearance, no doubt. *nodnod* There'll be more to it, don't you worry! And on the subject of him caring for that one servant; I honestly thought it semi-OOC for him to stroke her cheek and all that, but in the end, it all made sense and was ... well, IC for him. I, too, would've paid to see his expression... but with an imaginative mind, I'm sure you can come up with the expression of dh00med sh0ck! :D

takisha16 wrote:For the first time, I have no idea were it will go or lead...now all I can do is wait :D
MOWHAHAHAHAH!!! There's only ONE person who knows where this story goes, how it ends exactly, and where it will lead to. She wouldn't betray me, though, oh know. Precious wouldn't betray me, would you precious...? *sneaks a look to _ _ _ _ _ _*

Oh my goodness gracious!! Sesshy!!! Nooooooooooooooo! But wait...you never officially killed him, right? *lip wibble* Goodness me this was a thrill ride. I don't need a roller coaster, I just need to read something penned by you! And poor little Rin! And his motion of kindness! <3 that was a lovely chapter!

And then Naraku! Just what aces is he hiding up his sleeve? And what is he going to do with Kagura? And just one more day? 'Gome connection?

K, so Sango -is- pregnant. I was wondering that earlier, but now I know. And then Inu attacking her! And wow oh wow was this full of action!

You know...you are a queen of cliffies (just like angst). Where you leave off is just priceless. Makes me long and need more.

PS: I'll write more when my brain stops twitching in surprise :D

hehehehhehh!!!! :) In referring to your comment about killing good ol' Sesshy, he deserves to die, the bastard. *evil Naraku-like smirk* I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter! :) Now I can come out with the next one, wh00t. As for Naraku and aces up his sleeves ... nah, no aces, just evil plotbunnies of dh000000000000m to kill off the Inuyasha gang one by one, slowly and painfully. *nodnod*

Kagura's a mystery. :evil:

PS: *prods Mellie's mind with wet noodle*
