FMP Theme Songs

Just wondering...

I don't know how many of you all pay attention to the background music on FMP, but the introduction music (Episode 1) for Sousuke is just... *drool* and the Cool Running music when things heat up for Mithril is awesome.

I also love the theme song for Fumoffu, I think it's very fitting for Sousuke and Kaname's relationship. The lyrics for the original first season seem lost in translation tho...

Just a lil conversation. Anyone else?

I agree 110%!!!

The intro song of FMP is one of THOSE songs...you know, the ones that makes you actually feel it in your body.
Dont know if you know what I mean, I cant describe it any better, maybe if I compare it to how you feel when the Ride of Rohirrim in The Return of the King or when Alexander the Great charges at the battle at Guagemala in Alexander...or the last charge of the 7th cavalry in We Were Soldiers.
Those are songs that almost makes your eyes tear...

And the intro song of Fumoffu is also very good, it is exactly as you say, it is perfect for Kaname and Sousukes relationship, I especially love the scene where Kaname is clothed in a pink dress and whirlws around with the leafs in the fall.

Well, I wouldn't go THAT far. 'Ride of the Rohirrim' makes me want to steal a horse and charge into battlewaving a sword. THat's why I stopped listening to it on deployment.

However, 'Tomorrow' is one of the better anime themes` to the point I bought the album. I have ALOT of anime music but the best overall to is 'Record of the Loduss War' music.

However, I often play FMP! music all the time. I like the music for the main menu on the DVD, which I think gives the show its overall feeling, at least the first season. Don't have a opinion for the second season yet, but I know I don't hate it!

As for good anime songs, here's my list:

I've propbly missed a few but there's two burned CDs (from the orginal albums that I own, thank you) in my car with nothing but anime music.

Oh my, I haven't heard of a lot of those songs Trek ^^;
Evangelion as a series kills me, I'm in the process of rewatching it ^^;;
Oh you've seen Rurouni Kenshin too!? I luff that anime and the music too

Ohhh & you're right, Escaflowne is very close to Lord of the Rings! Defs!
Have you heard of Nightwish? They sound a lot like that too. I am making a Nightwish/FMP AMV, lemme know if you'd like to see it. And Evanescence as well

OMG yes Magsnus!! *glomp* Absolutely, I think that is the best pic of Kaname, she's always potrayed as big and butch. Such a very nice autumn scene indeed~

Oh, and the ending song for the original season! How could I forget that!? The piano starts it off and I just love the pictures of her when she's younger... the horse one and the one where she's pulling the turtle neck over her head so that she's just peeking over it. Very sweet shots!

When I first heard the ending song I actually thought that it was about Sousuke and that he would end up dying! XD Man, you can't imagine my anxiety level with each episode

FMA? right? That's (I think) 'Melissa.' If you bought the tin with the first DVD in it, it also had the soundtrack. Both songs are on there.

well i only watch it on tv before it was moved back, than i started watching it off my friends sources because he burned them all on dvd. as for the songs, i dont know anything about them except that the ending songs are awesome!

Nightwish? I remember finding a fic here with mention to Finnish mythology. Countrymen of mine, identify yourselves, please?

And if you like Nightwish, try Within Temptation. The lead singer has a better voice than Tarja, imho. And if you can't get your hands on WT's songs come talk to me on msn, I'll send them.

I'm new, yes. It feels quite weird.
