Okay, this is me actually posting, rather than my usual occupation of lurking. Anyway, I've got the Hellsing anime, but I haven't read the manga and I'd be really grateful if anyone could tell me what exactly Hellsing did during World War II, plus any details on Sir Integral's father anybody's got.
It's just that the backstory is really fascinating, it was really cruel to make the anime so short, and not give enough details. It's like anything really good: the first one's on the house to get you properly hooked, and before you know it you're turning tricks in alleys to pay for your habit. Um, yeah. Anyway, begging for information, please?

Anime and Manga are very different. Really, Anime changed personalities, relationships, appearances (Integral is teh babe and Alucard looks younger) and plot. So what exactly you want to know?
