He watched from the shadows, behind a few bushes wondering what they were doing. She mumbled something. Then he mumbled something. Then she mumbled, then he yelled, then she shouted, and then... then he got a headache. Watching the two of them quarrel elevated his impatience. Just what were they up to?

Quickly, he peeked above the bushes. They were talking again, but their backs were facing him. Growling, he dropped onto the dirt ground on his stomach and crawled all the way around the open space. (The bushes circled around an open field.)

Once again, he peeked above the annoying plants and found the two of them sitting on a stone bench conversing happily. His eye twitched. They planned something without him? He angrily grappled the bushes.

?What was that?? She asked whipping her head around cautiously.

?Don?t know,? The other boy said and shrugged.

Back in the bushes, he was crouched to an extremely low level. Wiping his brow a bit, he scolded himself for letting his emotions get to him. This time, he took out a handy kunai from his holder and gave a quick slice through the branches. Giving himself a pat on the back, he looked through the opening.

The other boy had said something, and she began to laugh. What could she be laughing about? The boy in the bushes blinked suddenly. Wait a minute... private space, just the two of them, and she seemed to be enjoying the other boy?s presence. They seemed awfully... content with each other. That?s it! They were dating!

He growled. They were dating behind his back! How dare they! Hadn?t he made it clear when they fought with Gaara that she was something precious to him? Didn?t she like him? Or... was it all just an act...? He crumpled the leaves once again and stood up. A look of ferociousness appeared on his face. He would kill the blonde dobe sitting with Sakura.

?Sasuke-kun!? She said with surprise as he stomped toward them. The raven-haired boy shoved his hands in his pockets. ?What are you doing here?? She asked smiling at him.

?Yeah,? The blonde raised an eyebrow, ?You weren?t... spying on Sakura-chan and I, were you, Sasuke?? He grinned widely.

?Hn,? Sasuke gave a shrug, ?You guys were disturbing my training.? He lied and gave himself another pat on the back for thinking of such a brilliant excuse.

?Oh?? Sakura looked around, ?Oh yeah, the Uchiha grounds are near here, huh?? He nodded in response.

?So...? Naruto placed his arms behind his head, ?Is there any particular reason why you decided to grace us with your presence?? He asked.

?What are you guys doing out here?? Sasuke asked trying to sheath his annoyance.

?Why do you need to know?? Naruto prodded.

?You guys disturbed my training. I want a reasonable excuse for your intrusion.? He answered smartly. He saw the two of them shift.

?We were...? Sakura began. She placed a finger to her chin as if thinking of a good explanation, ?indulging---? His eyes almost popped out of his sockets. Indulging? What an interesting choice of words...

?Yes, Sakura-chan and I were indulging...? Naruto cut her off reached for something.

Sasuke?s dark eyes traveled to the blonde?s hand. He wasn?t going to... It was making it?s way toward Sakura?s chest... He isn?t... toward... an odd orange packet. He quirked an eyebrow.

?Indulging in...? Naruto mumbled and grabbed the orange packet out of her hands forcibly, poured out it?s contents, and threw it carelessly back to the protesting girl. ?Ah Ha!? He said triumphantly and popped the brown cup into his mouth.

?Naruto!? Sakura glared at the blonde, ?I was going to eat that one! You?ve had yours already! You... you idiot!? She slapped him over the head.

The blonde ignored the pink-haired girl. Instead, he was concentrating on the substance in his mouth. He sighed in content as he chewed the hard chocolate shell and the filling inside. It?s rich, creamy, buttery texture had him in a euphoria. There was drool coming from his mouth. ?Mmmm....? He mumbled with a slurp.

?Grr...? Sakura growled beside him. She saw Sasuke glancing curiously at the two of them. With a smile she addressed him, ?They?re Reese?s Peanut Butter... Cups.? She squinted as she read the package. ?I asked if you wanted one a while ago remember??

Sasuke thought back to earlier on in the day. Was that what she was talking to him about? He remembered not listening to her... ?Hn,? He answered.

Naruto licked his fingers while keeping eye contact with the Uchiha, ?You want one, don?t you?? He asked snidely. Sasuke glared at him. ?Come on,? Naruto urged, ?You know you do...?

?... Fine.? Sasuke answered begrudgingly and held out his hand toward the girl, ?I?ll try one.?

Sakura blinked. ?Oh...? She muttered and lifted the orange packet, ?G-gomen, Sasuke-kun. There were only two.?

Naruto grinned cheekily at him, "HA!"
