The first pic is an extra gift piece to me since Pond took nearly 2yrs on finishing up the actual commission I asked from her in the first place. So to make up for the wait, she drew this first:

Well, call me crazy, but that really doesn't look much like Une to me. Trowa is fine, but Lady Une's face is just... off somehow.

Wow, Beck, your friend does incredible work! I'd say it was worth the wait on the first one to get that second pic! Trowwwwwa *drool* I think that's what the original animators intended for him to look like, don't you agree? And I think Une looks very good, feminine but still one strong, badass lady!

You know when I first saw the bedroom one I didn't even notice Trowa had a tie. I was distracted by tummy love.

And the second one. *dies* Dammit! I want to be Une in that one too. I wanna be her leg! I wanna be the fricking railing just because he's against it and *melts into a puddle of goo*.

I think Ponderosa's interpretation of Une is damned good. Whenever it comes to fanart, I think a true artist is able to render the character(s) as s/he see fit and Ponderosa does a wonderful job. Lord knows I'm in love with her Trowa. ~_^

Oh the drama! Should I lust after official Trowa or Pond's Trowa? Perhaps Pond's Trowa because he's the one that's actually willing to get action.

Yeah in some ways though everyone has their take on what the character should look like to them. I think it all varies on how much time you also take on drawing the pics itself that determines the outcome of how good they turn out. Also in these Une pics I noticed, she has fuller lips, perhaps thats whats thrown you off of how odd she looks?

I agree, I love seeing fluffy art when it comes to characters just relaxing together and seem content with their situation. Glad you liked!

She told me awhile back that she was going to do something extra since it took her this long to complete the actual commish. It totally took my by surprise when she posted it cause she didn't show me before hand. (actually that went for both pics)

I agree about the Trowa bit. As for Une, without a doubt. She may have her bitchy side but we also get to see that soft side of her that still has an edge when you least expect it. Not only do I like it when ppl write her that way, but its even more of a treat to see her drawn that way as well.

I love sharing any type of art I either have done or something I find. Its like X-mas on any given day.

*lol* I'm glad to hear that you're still fond of the 1xR kiss, I LOVE commissioning art from Jurty, I adore her style.

ACK! I just realized I never posted the wedding commission series I had Jurty do for me this past yr. Check them out when you get the chance, I will post both the 3x11 and the 1xR in this forum. You'll be FLOORED at the details of both pics!

Hmmm.....both versions of Trowa sound good on lusting after but I agree too, the fanart would be better, a bit older and more studlier. Makes my panties melt *lol*
