Upgraded, pending more spiffiness

I liked the newest version of the bulletin board software. It's a lot easier to use with some better features.

HOWEVER, it wiped out some of the special features I had to program myself on the old board. SO! The featured author archive is temporarily down until I fix it.

ALSO of note...There are no longer mass emails being sent out whenever a new fic is posted. I hope to be able to install a feature that will allow people to subscribe to specific forums...meaning, if you only want to be notified of new Trigun fics, then you subscribe to the Trigun forum, etc. etc.

I hope that with the new ability, more fans of those shows, and other specific couplings, will perhaps come here to post their works.


In the meantime, how do you like the new look so far? Black backgrounds have been proven to reduce eye strain, but I will in the future be working to install the option to choose a light or dark background, as well as nifty forum-specific banners for each section. You may notice we now have a section for Contests, and a forum where you can advertise to get or become a betareader for other members here. The OT section is open for civilised, friendly discussions of various topics. I will be visiting each section as frequently as possible.

Please feel free to continue posting to the board - fics, replies, new topics, etc. The only thing not available at this time is the featured author archive, and I assure you, I'm working to get that up ASAP.

Fanartist, or CG guru? Stay tuned for the banner, slogan, and button contest. Blissful needs a better banner than my sad attempt, some spiffy buttons, and a catchy slogan.

And I'm willing to bribe. ^___^
