A.N: A very short tribute to the way I think Sesshoumaru felt toward Kagura?it may be a little ooc, but even Sessh has to have his mushy moments!


There should have been more I could have done to help her, but her body wasn?t dead, so there was nothing to save.

I don?t know why I feel this way-but for whatever reason I couldn?t stand to see her go. Especially when all I could do was stand there and watch her fade away.

She was smiling when she left-happy to be free, happy?I was with her in the end?For some reason that made my chest hurt. I don?t think I liked the feeling.

After she disappeared, dust in the sky, nothing but a feather remained to prove she?d been there at all. Again, for reasons unknown to me, I still carry that feather, tucked away in my robe, close to where the pain had been. Now as I wander aimlessly searching for the one I know ended her life, kidnapped my Rin and tricked my brother I can still hear her voice. It?s all around me, floating in the whispers of the wind, the wind that she was, and the words seem to be for my ears only.

They?re softer than I ever heard them, but happy in a way:

?Never forget me??

-And really, I don?t think I ever will.
