Hello all!!

I go by the name of Maebh. Long, long time lurker, but first time poster ^_^

Now a little bit about myself:

- a college senior in her last year of a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance degree at the University of Oregon

- not much of an author (but am always willing to try my hand at 'beta-ing' - AUs in particular spark my interest)

- am an amateur artist (more of a still life drawer, but I have done some anime) Don't have a scanner though to post my art

- loyal fan of 1xR (GW), AxI (Hellsing), KxK (Rurouni Kenshin), MxS and SxR (Inuyasha) couples . . . . . to name a few

- currently on an Inuyasha fix, and DYING to see how it will all end (mmm sexy Sesshy) and I absolutely adore Rin

- big fan of old 80s shows and cartoons like The Muppet Show, Wuzzles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and much much more


That's pretty much the basics as to my ho-hum world, at least for now.

Yeah. Gotta love Gir. A friend of mine introduced me to Invader Zim, and I have to say, it was (and is) great!! I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good, bizarre comedy.

And I'm glad to finally get involved with a forum that I've been viewing from afar for quite some time. It's nice to find others that can enjoy the same sorts of hobbies as myself. They're so difficult to find at school and home.

Thanks so much. What can I say? I'm a sucker for the cuteness that is Rin. Have you seen episode 162 (Together with Sesshoumaru-sama Forever) yet? It's all about our favortie chibi. I should be getting it tomorrow Excited? You bet!!!
And as for the 80s cartoons, I grew up on the stuff. How can you not love all the greats - Inspector Gadget, Chip 'N Dale's Rescue Rangers, Heman . . . . How could you not love them. Sadly, times have certainly changed. They need to leave the classics alone.

Now, off to watch some Ren and Stimpy, you eediot!!

Sad to say, no I have not. Canada [and the network that I watch Inuyasha on] has only gone up to the 50+ episodes, so frustrating.

But Chip'n Dale rocks my boat. That, and She-Ra. My cousin even lent me her dolls, horses, and the castle. Way too much fun in those days.

Ren and Stimpy? Lol. Have you also heard of Rocko's Modern Life?
