The Forgotten One (teaser)

Hey all! This is a teaser of the Inuyasha fic I'm currently working on. The first chappie will be up (roughly) within the next couple of weeks. so here's my teaser. Enjoy!

(Disclamier: I don't own Inuyasha. But I do own 'The Forgotten One' and all her 'personalities.')


Long ago in the sands of Egypt, 10 magical items were created to protect the world from evil. 10 members of the Royal court carried these item to their deaths. Among these were the Pharaoh himself and his Queen. Upon their deaths, their souls were imprisoned in the items.

Many years later, a werewolf was chosen to carry the item the Queen once did. She then made her way to Feudal Japan, on a 'spiritual journey' so to speak. After remaining there for quite a time, she returned to Egypt were she died, and where the item would wait for it's next bearer.

Modern Day Japan

A tall girl with sun-colored haired stepped of the plane. She was glad to be back home after being on an expedition in Egypt for the past three years. She didn't look much different than she did when she had left. The only exceptions were that her skin was much darker and she bore a set of gold, Egyptian scales around her neck.

She didn't know much about them, really. All she knew was that they had been carried by an ancient Egyptian queen when the world was in danger. And then, later on, had been carried by a werewolf. But not the same werewolf who was in her bloodlines.

She broke herself away frome her thoughts and continued on her way. her home wasn't far from the airport, and the old well not far from that. She'd have to go and see if her old friends still lived there, when she had the time. School was about to pick up for the year and she still had unpacking to do. After school, one day, maybe she'd go.

Hmm...is it a crossover of some sort? Or is the blonde chick an OC? Either way, it sounds damn interesting, especially since I, too, have an obsession with Egypt, particularly Old Kingdom and pre-dynastic. The Werewolf is another interesting addition...are you going to be joining several ancient regions and their myths with this story? I can't wait for the first chapter to see where this is going!!

well, yeah, it kind of is a crossover if ya think about it. (actually yugioh. SHHH! don't tell nobody! :razz: ) that where the whole thing about the items comes in. (3 are ones of me & mah friends creation, but the other 7 were created by Takahashi-sama) more will be explained in the prologue(included in the 1st chappie). until then, namarie!
