Month Of Gray

The day feels cold and alone,
And the hours are going by so slow

Maybe it was not met to be
But God has a strange way of working they say
If it was up to me it wouldn?t have happened this way.

I wish you were still here
No, you just left us with all this fear

We will never be the same
But we will find our way

We will find out Why
Who, what and when.
We?ll dig a hole and let the misery begin.

The tears will flow
Through blood red eyes
We?ll suffer and grieve
And long for a new beginning

But they say good days are around the corner
Just keep your head high
Don?t give into the dark

We will find our way
I promise you this
We?ll think of the good times

The inside jokes
And all the laughs.

Deep in our minds we will know you are gone
But we?ll hide that away
And think about it in our dreams

Dreams full of hope, of longing, and despair
Hoping for the day when you will be there

We?ll lean on each other
And hope to fight
Through the days of lone, cold, winter nights

October is the month of gray
When winter is on its way
I?ve always hated this time of year
When everything dies
And slowly disappears

But did you have to die too
My dear?
