Elevating Trouble [NC-17]

Post by Rose of Betrayal »

Disclaimer: Hi-ho, hi-ho, Gundam Wing isn?t mine, I know.
A/N: I?m back, after a seriously long writer?s block that terrified me to death with its hideous effects, and after a wrestling with myself about ideas and another. I know I haven?t finished There?s No Such Word as Won?t, but I don?t really manage to finish multi-chapters. My best type of fic is a one-shot. Sorry about that! I?ll just hope this satisfies you guys. Kinda long, though. ?DJ
Warning: NC-17. That?s about it.

Elevating Trouble
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
?I?m really wondering why all of you wanted to come with me,? Relena said irritably. ?It?s just a party.?
?A party that?s going to be a lot of fun,? Sally said from behind a copy of a Time magazine. ?Besides, you always said those farts needed some cheering up and partying some more than they needed speeches and all those stuff.? She turned a page. ?Did I mention that you?re leading in the votes for president of the ESUN and this party speech might just turn out to be your big break??
?That?s why I?m so worried,? she snorted. ?Duo?s always cooking up some scheme, and they?re always crazy enough to make even the most patient man in the world explode.?
Sally raised an eyebrow. ?You don?t trust us??
Sally Po and Relena Peacecraft were having a small informal dinner in Relena?s kitchen while waiting for the rest of the people ? the Gundam pilots and Hilde - to get cleaned up and dressed. They were the first ones in the lobby, decided it would be a few hours before Heero could comb his hair, Duo to braid his hair, Trowa to put some more gel on his hair, Quatre to make sure his blond hair didn?t look white, and Wufei to make sure not a single hair escaped his ponytail? The list was never-ending.
Frankly, Relena couldn?t understand why people said women took more time than men to fix their hair. As far as the Gundam pilots were concerned, they were wrong.
She took a sip of wine and answered Sally?s question. ?Of course I do. It?s just Duo I don?t trust.?
* * * * * * *
?Why the heck do they even make elevators this big?? Duo asked, rapping is knuckles against the gilded gold panel of the elevator. ?And so close together. I wonder how they??
?Shut up, Duo, and behave,? Hilde snapped. ?We promised Relena.?
?Who said we had to keep our promises?? Duo said, low enough only for her to hear. Then, with a wicked smile, he led her to one of the elevators and jabbed the button with his thumb.
Relena breezed by them, Heero following her. ?Top floor,? she said unconcernedly. Then she added, with a furrowed brow, ?And be polite. Don?t drink too much.?
?We won?t.?
Heero shot her a look. Duo couldn?t fathom his expression, but that was how his face always was: unfathomable. But nevertheless, he could sense the quiet tension that crackled between the two, overdeveloped by the years they had lived together as employer and employee: vice foreign minister and bodyguard.
Boy, was this going to be fun.
Grinning, he pulled Hilde into the elevator, waited until the group had departed into each of the elevators: Heero and Relena, Trowa and Quatre, and Wufei and Sally, in that order of the spacious thingamajigs. Then he jabbed the button marked ?B?.
?Duo, why the heck are we going down to the basement? Aren?t we supposed to???
?Ssh? You?ll see.?
* * * * * * *
Relena folded her arms over her chest protectively, trying to shrink subtly into the wall behind her while trying to avoid Heero?s eye. This wasn?t very hard because Heero himself was staring at the elevator door rigidly, his hands clenched at his sides. Relena groaned inwardly. What the hell was wrong with her? Here was the man she had loved for more than a lifetime, and she couldn?t do anything but wish she would sink through the floor.
Of course, it never did open up and suck her in. It only did when she didn?t want it to happen.
She studied his stiff posture and tried to start a conversation. It was, after all, about fifty floors away until they reached their destination. ?Heero??
?Hn??
?Do you like Duo?? Damn, that was stupid.
He paused. ?I don?t. Do you??
?Well, he?s handy for some things, but he?s really annoying sometimes. And Hilde?s his sidekick now. They always have some plans to get into trouble of some sort??
She knew she was babbling, but she couldn?t help it, and Heero was listening patiently, looking like he didn?t mind at all. The anxiety grew thick, so thick that she could barely hear herself over the stuffiness of the elevator. She watched the dial above their heads restlessly as she talked. Thirty more floors?twenty-nine?twenty-eight?
Suddenly, the elevator jerked to stop, and her heart nearly halted with the sudden jolt. A scream escaped her lips as, suddenly, her whole world shuddered forward and everything went black.
Oh, she was going to kill Duo Maxwell for this?
She was trapped. Trapped in a darkened elevator with Heero Yuy?
Oh, shit. She nearly screamed again at the thought of it.
* * * * * * *
In Trowa and Quatre?s elevator:
??Trowa? Do you have the feeling we?re suspended somewhere between the sixty floors of this building??
?I don?t have a feeling about it, Quatre. I?m pretty damn sure of it.?
* * * * * * *
In Wufei and Sally?s elevator:
?Sally, are you alright??
?I?m fine, Wufei, just fine. I just want to check with Duo?s horoscope if he?s going to live to be thirty years old.?
* * * * * * *
In the basement:
?So, this was your plan??
?Yup.? Duo grinned in the darkness and looped an arm around Hilde?s neck, playfully poking her in the ribs. ?Now, while we wait, why don?t we get the ball rolling??
?You?re going to get killed. Diabolical, though.?
?In the end, they?ll just be glad I did it.?
There was a muffled laugh, and then a gasp, as two figures slowly slid down out of sight behind a stack of cardboard boxes. Only a few feet away, the broken circuits labeled ?Elevators? sizzled and died.
* * * * * * *
All Relena could hear was Heero?s heavy breathing?only inches away from her. She shivered as his warm breath whispered its way past her skin, raising small hairs on the back of her neck. This was?pleasantly annoying. There was no other way to describe it. ?Is everyone alright?? his voice rang out.
?Everyone?? Relena thought irritably. ?Who does he think he?s addressing, a whole bunch of people? There?s only us in here??
She paled invisibly in the dark, and she scrunched further into the corner of the elevator for all the good it would do her: Heero?s side was pressing against her now. It was all she could do to keep from kissing him senseless. No, no, don?t even think about that, Relena mentally scolded herself. Don?t think?
Say please, said a voice in her head, sounding so much like Duo that she had to run a hand over her skull to make sure the braided idiot wasn?t there.
Stop it, Relena, she told herself again. This is driving you paranoid.
But the torture! the voice groaned. His flesh against yours, his breath on your neck? The voice was maddening. She was in half a mind to hit her head and yell ?SHUT UP!? when Heero spoke again.
?I think Duo has something to do with this.?
Her heart nearly stopped, fluttering for a moment, before she swallowed the feeling and said, ?Probably. And I?m going to be late for the party.?
?Don?t worry, you?ll get elected.?
She gulped and mustered up the courage to lay a hand on his arm. She felt him stiffen. ?Thanks for the vote of confidence, sir,? she said. She could almost see Heero smile in the dark. The fear was beginning to ebb away, but a funny feeling was tugging at a corner of her brain that this was leading exactly where Duo wanted it to go.
Hm?defy Duo?s plans or keep talking to Heero? Defy Duo?s plans or keep talking to Heero? Defy?
I?ll talk to Heero, she decided. After all, it just might be worth it. Then she gathered up her wits and began to talk to the Perfect Soldier, pushing away the nagging feeling, tucking it back into a dark corner of her mind. She?d dwell on that later.
* * * * * * *
In Trowa and Quatre?s elevator:
?Trowa??
?Nnn??
?Are you fantasizing about Midi again??
?Who was looking up Dorothy?s skirt at that meeting, then, hm??
A face blushed in the darkness. ?As I was saying?was that Heero and Relena talking? Somewhere to our right??
The other man listened. ?Yeah, I think so.? A thump. ?Wait?was that?Sally and Wufei??
* * * * * * *
In Sally and Wufei?s elevator:
?Shut up, ?Fei, you?re too loud. They?ll hear you.? A hiss. ?Oh, yeah??
A grunt. ?I?ll be betting you?re going to be just as vocal as I will be, woman? Ohh?shit!?
Moments later, there were screams mixed with Chinese curses waffling from their elevator, muffled by the thick walls on three sides, but not thick enough on one. In that connecting elevator, Quatre and Trowa were suddenly turning beet-red. Red enough to have been called tomatoes with very weird hair.
* * * * * * *
?I don?t know, I guess I just kind of didn?t like the life. My dad as always off to meetings, and although I volunteered to come along with him on occasions, I never really got that close to him. He was like a rock.? Like you, Relena added silently.
?You still call him dad.?
How observant.
?Although he?s not my biological father, he?s the father I knew.?
There was silence. Then, ?Are you going to take the job as president of the ESUN??
She was surprised at the question. It was like he was reading her mind. ?No, I won?t be,? she confided with a sigh. ?As vice foreign minister, I?ve already had enough on my hands. President will just give me a bigger burden.? It was all so true, she thought. She was sick and tired of telling the people she could give them a better life, when she couldn?t. She was not a miracle-maker. She was simply what she had been long before?a young girl. A woman, now.
And, she realized, Heero was like her in many ways. People knew of him, talked of him, respected him, and expected him to live up to his name, being named after a famous peace leader. Just as she was supposed to do what was expected to her, being the daughter of King Peacecraft. He was under a burden, too, and she was just adding to it. People now expected him to block everything harmful that came her way.
?You know, Heero??
?Hm??
?You can resign as my bodyguard if you want.?
There was silence. ?Why would I do that??
?The job pressures you a lot, and I thought??
Her breath caught as his hand grasped hers and squeezed. Heero Yuy had never been for affectionate actions. His skin was warm and calloused underneath hers. ?You thought wrong. I love you, Relena, the only reason I even try to be what I?m supposed to be. I want to be respected in your eyes.?
She was stunned, surprised, and barely able to breath. If she had held her breath three seconds more, she would have done an Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean and toppled over. But she didn?t. Instead, she grasped his hand and squeezed tightly. ?Love you, too,? she whispered.
* * * * * * *
Two ears pressed tightly against the right side of their elevator, trying desperately to avoid the moans from next door, and, at the same time, trying to overhear snatches of the conversation n the other. They looked at each other, green meeting blue, and silently mouthed a ?YES!? It wasn?t needed. The screams would have covered it up if they had said the word aloud.
* * * * * * *
Their first kiss was tentative, lips pressing against each other with delight, although with caution, and Relena felt a tongue run over her lips, stopping to flick at the corner of her mouth. Then it slid inside her mouth, slithering to press and explore. His breath smelled like a pleasant blend of?strawberries and cream? What the?
Her question was cut off as his wandering hands roamed lightly at her neck, fiddling with the hairs at the back, and sliding down to press at her pulse. Then it dipped down to her neckline, hesitating, brushing feather touches at the valley, waiting for her permission. She couldn?t speak, so she moaned her approval.
His fingers dipped in, tugging downwards, until her sleeves were shrugged off until her elbows, her lacy brassiere exposed to the cool air. Goosebumps crawled over her skin as his fingers touched her breasts through the material, making slow circles over the nipples with his thumbs.
Relena broke the kiss and gasped, ?I-I??
?We can?t do this sitting down,? he finished.
He helped her up, and no sooner was she on her feet that his hands were tugging her dress down, his lips on her pulse and sliding downwards. She gasped and twined her fingers in his hair, tugging roughly, urging him on? She gave a sigh of pleasure as her bra was turned loose: his fingers had managed to wander to her back without her noticing.
Then his mouth was on her, attacking savagely, lathering her skin. ?Relena?? he groaned.
Her hands were suddenly busy, disentangling themselves from his hair to latch onto the waist of his jeans, tugging downwards as he had done her dress. It lay crumpled on the floor, pooling around his shoes. He kicked them off with taking his mouth off her. Relena tried to maintain control as she pushed his jacket off, making him remove his mouth. Her nipples spark invisibly as it met cool air.
Then his jacket joined his pants and her dress on the floor, her bra following soon after. She pressed her lips to his, pressing herself against his half-clothed body, feeling his condition poking her in the leg. She ran a hand over his chest, pressing against his right breast and pleasuring the brown nipple there. He moaned into her mouth, and she shushed him.
?Take your underwear off.?
He complied, fumbling with his boxers and flinging them downwards. Relena heard the soft rustle as it hit the floor and she felt the burning in her loins. She needed him?but later. A bit of foreplay, first, said the little voice in her head.
She only too happy to obey.
She grasped her hand over his length, feeling velvet steel underneath her fingers, and was pleased when he gasped and shoved his hips toward her. She began to run her fingertips over it, skimming the sides, playing. The head was leaking, and she spread it around, feeling a pleasant shiver run through him. ?Relena,? he finally growled.
She took that as a signal and began to pump, squeezing and squeezing. His gasps rang out through the elevator, pounding in her ears as sweat trailed down her back. When he was at his peak, she removed her hand. She wasn?t about to make him come just yet.
He growled her name again, this time in frustration. He had had enough of it. But she just smiled. Suddenly, she found herself with her back pressed against the side of the elevator, her skin meeting cool glass. His mouth was at her ear before she could speak.
?No one plays with me.?
With that, he tugged her underwear down, and then stared unbelievably at the damp thing that lay at her feet. Had she been that aroused? Then he glanced back up at her face. She was looking at him, lust and love mixing together in those cerulean depths in an exciting blend. She was a virgin. A willing one.
She nodded her approval and pulled suddenly on his shoulders, hoisting herself up so her feet locked around his waist, his tip at her entrance. He looked at her, and then pushed. Suddenly, she clamped around him, and the pleasure rocketed to his center with rising pleasure. She did not cry, merely stifled her moans and rocked against him as he slammed into her again and again.
Her pleasure spot was hit, and she arched her back, feeling the tip of him brushing against her with every thrust, relishing the delicious pleasure. He was driven to a frenzy, and nothing existed around or between them. He saw stars and planets, each one zooming in to close into his vision, before the blackness around him exploded, culminating in one glorious moment as he sent himself over the edge with a cry, mingling with Relena?s as she came.
They slumped to the floor, breathing hard.
* * * * * * *
In the basement:
?You think it worked??
?Of course.?
* * * * * * *
Relena Peacecraft did resign as president that day, and Dorothy Catalonia got the job, although she had had only half the votes Relena got. Quatre married her shortly afterwards, and, although he couldn?t tame the cat in the years to come, they were happy. Wufei and Sally got married, too, and Midi and Trowa, after they had met again, thanks to a party Lady Une had thrown for Quatre?s wedding. Milliardo married Noin, and Relena married Heero, both of them free from the troubles of an adult.
And the elevator circuits? Well, the handymen had simply scratched their heads in puzzlement, saying it was most complex sabotage they had ever seen. The wires of the elevator had been cut so that it couldn?t be fixed. They had to get the VFM and her bodyguard out by smashing through a part of the building. They had, thank god, not suffocated, due to air vents the manager had thought to install. Of course, they had to wait for three hours for the firemen to come. They were happy with that.
All of the above and I'd bet that if this hadn't worked out, Duo and Hilde would have to go into hideing from the other pilots. So how did they manage to get dressed again in the dark?
^______^ Praise is indeed heartening when you're preparing to get your brain crushed with early exams two weeks later.
Okay, Raspberry, thanks for the lemon praise. I thought it was kind of short, but my bad timing for this fic was exactly before I was supposed to go to bed for school the next day. I guess it's fine now.
morgansgirl23: When doesn't it ever work out in humor fics? :wink:
bookworm: Thanks for reading and enjoying. THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!
Crazygurl: Um...that was saying a lot.
Wingnut: I forgot to add the part that the technicians found a pair of grass clippers wrapped in Hilde's underwear. Guess they forgot to slip on some 'articles'. :razz:
Windcloud: Laugh s'more. It's a joy.
