Questions on Tohru's Hat and Favorite Couple(s)

I?m curious to know who gave Tohru the hat she treasures, in the Fruits Basket manga. Does anyone know? I?ve been reading the manga with rough translations so I?m not sure if I missed it.

Also, I?m curious to know everyone?s favorite match-ups/couple(s) in FB and why.

I don't know about the hat. My fav couple is Kyouru. Yay NEKO!

The hat storyline was only fully explained a few months ago, around chapter 85 or so of the manga. (Don't want to ruin it for you!)

And I have to say HaruxRin is my favorite couple, but I also love Kyoru! :D

Even though I know I'm a bad person for liking it (what with Tohru and Kyo being made for one another and all. . . ) but I really enjoy Haru x Tohru to a ridiculous level.

Dunno about the hat though, sorry. :salute:

And from what I've read of the TokyoPop-released manga, it's explained it in the second volume.. sort of.. when she's telling Uo and Hana how she got the hat and why it means so much to her, and somebody *coughkyoucough* is listening on the other side of the door. :>

Erm, no idea about the hat, sorry hon...
Call me nuts, but I would like to see Yuki and Hanajima Saki get together. :roll: I guess it is because I love Hana-chan, and I AM sort of upset that Kyou has become the ideal choice for Tohru (I am only going by the anime here). Yuki seemed to have stepped aside so that Tohru could heal Kyou...and how much closer do you have to be to someone for you to fall in love?
I admit it, I like Yuki more than Kyou, *ducks* and I think Hana and he could do a lot for each other.

OOOH, I know who gave her the hat.. I pretty much know the story, but I don't know, do you want me to spoil it? I've spoiled some stuff for people before, and their reactions haven't always been pretty.. @__@

Favorite couple??? Umm, I like KyouxTohru and HaruxRin, although I haven't seen HaruxRin together yet.. ^_^

Mmhmm!! The hat thing sorta ruins the story though. . because there was such a good couple thing between um *cough* and *cough*, and now it migh truin it or something. And my favorite couples are. . . *thinks* Kyo x Tohru, Yuki x Machi, Kisa x Hiro, and Haru x Rin. Oh! and Hatori x Mako

Fav. couple of all times is completely KYOXTORHU! :bounce: then there's KisaxHiro,RinxHaru,YukixMachi,HatorixMayuko,AyamaxMine,ShigurexMitt,SakixKazuma :eek: ,AND ArisaxKuereno. Wow that's all of em.(except Momiji :cry: ,Akito :evil: ,and Kagura :pale: .)

I'm not that familiar with the Fruits Basket manga. I got the anime as a gift and LOVED that, but I'm just a poor student and I couldn't start collecting the manga... That's a long way of saying I have no idea about the hat. :-P

Favorite couple: YUKI AND TOHRU!!!!!!! As I mentioned in another thread, I love that pairing. I know it doesn't seem like it's going to happen, but I can dream!!
