Mantantei Loki Ragnarok

I'm wondering if anyone has seen this anime. It's sort of Detective Conan-ish where in the hero, in this case the Norse trickster god, Loki, is turned into a young boy. In earth, he investigates mysteries along with his faithful butler, Yamino and the mystery obsessed Mayura.

It's quite..cute...but it has rather dark themes sometimes...since Odin (the norse equivalent of Zeus) wants loki dead so Ragnarok (or the end of the world) will not take place...

Yes I have seen this. I'm planning on burning it to cd's as soon as I re-install that program.

So yes I have seen it. I like it. I wish they did more with it because it could have been even better.

Yay! :D Well, I wish there's more anime of it, too. I wanna see more Loki (especially the adult one) and Fenrir (Daddeee!). But right now I'm content with the manga...I hear its already licensed...

It is licensed. But the anime ended already. I wanted a better ending but I think I can wait to read the manga ending (which I hope is better than the anime ending). I luv the OP and ED songs. And I'm rooting for a couple (which I won't tell). It would be nice to read some Loki fanfics. *sigh*

I can't stand Fenrir. I love Yamino-kun though!!!

Yeah the manga is licensed but I've never gone near it. I saw a few scans (mainly of covers) but that was it before the licensing.

Okay bookworm, you can't saying you're rooting for a couple and then NOT tell us. Spill it chicka! ^___^ MaLoki fics would be good. I need to rewatch it. Except for eps 24.

I'm a Mayura x Loki fan. :D FF.net has a lot of fanfic of that pairing (and a few others that i shall be blissfully ignorant of). hehehe...I have one on the works (hah...shows how MUCH I liked the anime).

Ep 24? Wait...which episode is that? Is that the one with in Kou-chan's summer house?

One of my favorite eps. was the cooking show episode. It was just HILARIOUS.

Wicked, you can't stand fenrir? The character I dislike the most in MaLoRa is Freya. I don't know why, but she irritates me for some strange reason...and Reiya as well...just a bit...

(Spoiler alert! 8) )

Something's been bothering me...did Hel really die, or did she just fade away? In the manga, she just went back to Asgard...but I'm not sure in the anime...

Oh...just a spoiler in the manga...Loki kisses Mayura in vol.4. But since I can't read Japanese, I don't know WHY. :(

We agree on that, Bookworm. Something about Freya and Loki together makes my blood boil. :evil:

I'll try to post that fic as soon as I'm finished with the first chapter.

Okay so I don't hate Fenrir. But I don't like him either. :-p Pig of a dog.

Ep 24 is when Mayura tries to investigate Loki and gets caught after which Loki yells at her then feels bad but refuses to apologize except that Yamino-kun makes him and then they realize that Hel has kidnapped Mayura. I like the episode and I really feel for Mayura in it (I can sympathize with her feeling sort of an outcast) and because it brings back a sad memory.

I got the feeling that Hel did die in the anime. Like I said I haven't touched the manga but I want to see the MaLoki kiss (ha! get it? MaLoki?...okay fine whatever). ^___^

So yeah I'm a Loki x Mayura shipper too. I don't see Loki going for Freya but I would hate to see Mayura hook up with Freyr. *shakes head* No me gusta. Though she can have fling with Kou-chan if she wanted. ~_^

I'm planning on burning the series to disk when I actually get off my butt and do it.

Is it just me or is there a similarity between that blond guy and Loki?

It has been a long time since I watched MLR so I only know the characters by faces.

Also, I would not like any pairings between Mayura and Loki's kids. That is not cool with me. As for Mayura x Frey... :x
