A/N: *sighs* Yet another old poem of mine based upon a silly love.[not based upon actual events just so you know] Originally written on September 20, 2000 (9:30 pm). I?m thinking of integrating this poem with a short Inu Yasha story. Or not. Blech.

(To Breathe Once More)

Blue rose, blue rose, tell me why do you weep?
Why, all those painful secrets, you dare to keep?
You used to be so pure and white as rain
Now there is only poison and pain
Did he find shelter in your loving arms?
or, perhaps he found you simply irresistible with all your charms?
Your love once bloomed like a red, red rose
And in the end, found carelessness and woes
Tell me! Oh heaven and angels above,
just breathe once more, with or without your love.

My dear sweet child, it was never meant to be
I never had him; he was never mine
This fate was already written in stone
before the start of time
He wanted to soar, wanted to be free
so one day he left, and never came back for me
I swore this wouldn?t happen, love ?
Cupid?s silly game
But pierced by his arrow, I have been
And now I will never be the same
My eyes were blind, too much I feel
Nothing in this world may be for real
My soul has been stained, the damage is done
A heart has been broken, there might not be another one
