A/N: I used to write poetry quite a bit, especially around four or five years ago? Not until I came across this old writing of mine (with a little revising) did I expect to like it this much... But I babble.

This one? Purely based on unrequired love.

?Bouquet of Flowers?


To the one I loved, this was meant for you
You will never see it or know it even existed
For I have no special place in your heart

My flowers do not fade nor die
They are merely words on paper
But brought to life by vivid imagination
That only I possess

Seven Forget-Me-Nots
One for each day of the week
To remind me just how much I used to think of you

A dozen roses
But the red teardrops never bloomed anyways
For each month of the year
To remind me just how much you never thought of me

Other flowers surrounded the roses and such
But they all withered away without my light
Fog-hazy thoughts remain of you

You may never come to me
And I won?t care anymore
Waiting beneath your door
Throwing this bouquet at your feet

Waiting

And I won?t be there
There is nothing for me
Just words to express

What I felt.

What I thought.

And what I heard.
