The Pain Within part 9
The castle was more beautiful than anything she had seen before.
The pure white walls were decorated with golden signs, they looked Japanese only more graceful.
The large wooden door had golden knobs and was large enough to get a Gundam inside.
Relena could hardly move, the beauty of the castle was hypnotizing her. Telling her to look at it and never look away.
Kane walked to the large gate and knocked. Relena jumped at the sound and for once took her eyes of the golden signs.
The door opened slowly and Kane entered.
Relena was still on his back, her eyes took in every detail of the castle as it looked inside.
The walls inside the castle were not white, they were more a very light blue. Painting of *probably* dead persons graced the walls. The carpet was blood red, reminding Relena about the dragon she had slayed earlier.
"Welcome to my castle!" A friendly female voice called to them.
Relena looked at the woman on top of the stairs and her eyes grew. She looked like an angel. Her golden blonde hair tumbled in curls down her face.
She had beautiful sky blue eyes which seemed to glow, making Relena feel welcome. The woman wore a yellow dress decorated with the same signs as the castle only now in white, with very long sleeves. They even seemed longer then the dress.
Relena looked up to study the woman's face, the resemblance was scary to Relena. She looked just like her.
The woman smiled lovingly at her.
"I wondered when you would show up. We've been waiting for you." She said in a soft voice.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Gina, don't you remember me?" The woman bit her lower lip.
Relena winced, she didn't want to hurt Gina's feelings.
"I'm sorry, but I do not know you." Relena said politely.
"Ow Relena, I'm so sorry."
Relena raised an eyebrow. "Sorry for what?"
"For letting you go." A stray tear fell from the woman's face, Relena wanted to run to her and wipe it away, but her self-control held her in place.
"For letting me go? I do not understand."
"I'm so sorry my child, I should have never let them take you."
"My child? I still don't understand mother." Relena gasped, she had said 'mother' to the woman out of reflex. But how? Where the hell did that came from?
Gina suddenly smiled. "Now do you understand?"
Relena blinked, and blinked again, the thought had to be processed and analyzed before she gave a reply.
"So you're my mother?" She asked.
Gaia nodded.
"And I'm a real Enterran?"
Gaia nodded once more.
Silence.
Even more silence.
Then laughter.
Relena tumbled to the floor and started rolling around the room. "You're.*gasp* you're *laugh* my mother?!"
Gaia stared at Relena with an odd look, a mixture of suprise, shock and anger. It made Relena laugh even more.
When she finally regained her ability to stand she stood up and barely controlled her laughter.
"I'm sorry Gina, I'm a Peacecraft."
Gina pouted.
"I've been a Dorlian till I was 15, then I suddenly became a Peacecraft, and now you're telling me I'm an alien?! Sorry but HELL NO! I know for sure I am 100% human." Kane coughed.
"Ok, so not 100% anymore, but who cares."
Gina walked towards her and grabbed her shoulders.
"How can I say this?....Have you never had the idea that you were different?"
Relena shook her had in disagreement.
Gina sighed.
Then suddenly the castle started to shake and Gina stopped moving. "Gina?" Relena asked. Still the woman did not move a muscle.
Then all colors started to drop from the image, like wet paint on a wall.
Relena closed her eyes.
When the room had stopped shaking she opened them slowly.
All she saw was white. 'The white room.' She thought to herself.
The door opened and there was our very own doctor Lotus.
Relena gagged.
"So we've found you my dear." He said in a slimy little voice.
Relena smiled, or more like a scowl. Either way it looked pretty scary to the Doctor.
"I need you're help with something."
Relena rolled her eyes, like she was ever going to help that freak.
"You're friend Gaia has escaped."
Suddenly the doctor had Relena's full attention.
He smiled at her sudden interest and continued his story. "I want you to find her and bring her back to me."
Relena lowered her head, she wanted to find her but she would never return to here. She decided to play the game and fool Dr. Lotus.
"Now listen to me very carefully, Gaia has a little chip in her head that we can control. Unfortunately the chip has a malfunction. It is not able to process our commands outside this building."
Relena nodded in understanding, and the doctor continued.
"So when she's outside all that is controlling her is the alien DNA inside her. Which is pretty bad. If her temper blows, she could destroy everything in her path until her anger subsides. And that could take pretty long."
The doctor looked at her, and unspoken question in his eyes.
"I understand." She said. The doctor nodded and turned to leave.
"Wait!" She called after him.
"I want to know something first, were I was, was that real?"
The doctor was shocked about her question.
"Well, not exactly no. It is all a computer program designed to train you're mind for combat and survival. You did not complete the program yet but I figure that you're ready."
Relena nodded and followed the doctor.
"You know you have been out of our sight for quite a long time! You're a natural fighter. We found you because you found the dragon."
Relena scowled.
The doctor leaded her towards a door she had never seen. He opened it and let het in first.
"Now this is the control room, we have every information about our subjects here. And we are able to follow them. Unless they leave this building of course."
The room was filled with big screens, all looking into a dark cell. 3 men were sitting in front of them, typing away on there keyboards.
"John." The doctor said.
"Sir?" The man named John replied.
"Give me the data on Gaia."
John nodded and typed in a code.
A picture appeared on the screen in the middle of the room.
Relena gasped as she recognized the person. "You used Gaia in you're program?" She asked still suprised.
"Yes, indeed we did." The doctor replied.
Relena studied Gaia's picture, the golden blonde curls falling down her face, and the friendly soft blue eyes. Everything about her looked like Gina.
"Now that you've seen the before picture. This is a picture after she completed her training." The doctor gave a signal to John, and he pressed a button.
Relena could not take her eyes of the screen. The beautiful and friendly looking woman now looked like a murdered in a horror movie.
The friendly blue eyes had turned into icy blue, giving Relena the chills. Her golden blond hair was tucked into a braid and hang till below her shoulder blades. A few bangs on hair framed her face.
Her firey red lips were now covered in black lipstick and her eyes had black around them. Relena nearly cried, the loss of such a friendly face nearly tore out her heart.
"Find her Relena, this is how she looks so find her what are you waiting for?" The doctor pushed her into the hallway.
Relena still felt numb and could hardly move.
Some how her legs started to follow the military boots. She could not find the strength to lift her head.
Gaia's words echoed through her head.
"I feel myself slipping, somebody else is taking over. I don't want that to happen again."
"You don't have to Gaia, just think about good times, grab on to your memories."
"I never had any good times, I was always alone, never had any friends. And I definately don't have any good memories."
"Then think about me."
"Alright."
Maybe there was still hope for Gaia, there was always hope even in bad situations.
Relena lifted her head, determination now filling her eyes. She would make sure to find Gaia, and when she did, Gaia would not know what hit her.
Relena smiled, she could get used to this.
******Near Victoria Falls, where Gaia is.********
She shifted her position from where she sat on a high tree branch.
She heard soft footsteps coming her way, these were no military boots.
She listened more carefully, it seemed more like preventer boots. 'So they now even have prefenters looking for me he?' Gaia scowled, she would loose these guys easily, but it was way more fun to fight, or at least scare the shit out of them.
The footsteps came closer, 5 no 6 preventers. 'They are really underestimating me if they think 6 preventers can handle me.'
The footsteps were very close now, they would pass this tree in a few seconds.
Gaia waited for the right time and them jumped out of the tree. She landed gracefully on both legs. She raised her head to look at the stunned and suprised looks on the prefenters faces.
One had a long braid, it looked like hers only much longer, his jaw had opened up as much as it could. He looked like a dead fish.
The man behind him had blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes, he looked kind and very wise. He would even look better if his eyes did not seem to pop out any minute.
The man beside this friendly man was a Chinese black hared man. He had dark brown eyes, they nearly looked black. He had a shocked expression, but not as much as the other 2. Gaia could clearly see that this was a man off honor. She somehow respected that, so maybe she would go easy on this guy.
A long haired platinum blonde man stared right at her. Looking quite angry actually, he seemed a lot older then the rest of the group, and his blue eyes reminded her of somebody.
She turned her head to find a green eye staring at her like she was a ghost.
She could not detect the mans second eye because this was concealed by brown hair that had shaped in a odd way. Her eyes grew a bit wider at the realization who this was.
But she recovered fast and it took all her self-control not to jump at him. After all they were just dreams, she would make a fool out of herself to jump at him.
Then her eyes caught Purrusian blue, those eyes would have been able to drown any girl. But Gaia had rubber bands.
His brown bangs hung if front of his face, giving him a dark expression. His eyes had grown a little wider, she had expected that they returned to their glaring position, but they did not.
"What?" She asked dangerously.
"You...you look like Relena." The voice did not come from the man in front of her. She snapped her head to the braided man who immediately shut up.
"Well, I'm not her. My name is Gaia."
A gasp from the green eyed man caught her attention, and she glared at him.
She returned her gaze at the Purrusian blue man and found once more a glare directed her way.
She glared back.
Sparks started flying between the two.
Both were determent to win.
Gaia's angry rose to a dangerous level. Why does this guy not give up?
Finally she snapped and punched the guy in the face, hard.
He fell to the floor and expression off complete surprise written all over his features.
He glared at her once more, and she glared back.
Gaia turned her head and shoulders to warm up her muscles.
'Now this promises to be a good fight.'
She said to herself before resuming her position for her next move.
