Pool Party
"It's time for dinner," Pagan stated calmly as he walked out of the kitchen. His eyes flashed in mild irritation as the old man glanced at the bodies in the room: Milliardo Peacecraft/Zechs Marquise, Lucrezia Noin, several mansion staff members, and Heero Yuy. But no Relena Darlian.
The old butler sighed again. "Will someone please find Miss Relena?"
The normal seekers stepped forward and exited the room to search for the missing girl. Heero Yuy walked along the corridors, listening to Noin's shouts and Zechs's occasional grumble. He himself stayed quiet.
This had been an increasingly annoying trouble. The mansion was so big, and Relena so small, she just disappeared until meals, completing work and reading, among other things. Zechs had spoken jokingly of posting security cameras everywhere in the house; an idea Heero did not really like.
Of course it would heighten the security, but it would also expose that he knew where she was almost constantly. He had, as with the other times, simply allowed her to wander off now so as not to arouse suspicion.
As Heero walked calmly through the halls, glancing in rooms and passageways, he wondered why he was really here. He and Relena had never "hit it off" in anyway. He regarded her as his boss and acquaintance, and she was simply polite and courteous towards him. He had used to blame her lack of security for being there, but the stoic pilot had long since admitted that was not true.
Relena's security was high, and although he would never be comfortable with anyone else surveying her safety, Heero knew he was not needed here.
Or, at least, he wasn't needed to be in charge of her safety.
Heero finally finished his search of the corridors, hearing the lack of shouts to signify that Noin and Zechs had given up on their search. He continued outside, squinting at the sunlight that wafted through the light shade of trees.
Carefully striding through the small acre of land, he came at last to the pool. And, sure enough, a young, daintily clad girl lay sunning. A faint smile twitched the dark man's lips as he surveyed her position. In spite of himself, he allowed an admiring glance to fall on the slender body and beautiful face?? Heero almost jumped out of his skin. Then he realized, a little abashed, that Relena was not decapitated, but that, in fact, there was a magazine draped over her face.
He was careful to walk silently, studying the soft breaths (not breasts, although those as well) that raised her chest up and down. She appeared to be asleep.
Another smile, this one larger, graced his features when Heero remembered the last time Relena had been missing. When hearing Noin's callings, she had slipped away, leading everyone on a wild goose chase around the mansion. When Heero had finally managed to catch her, she smiled up at him and stated simply that 'everyone needed a bit of fun every once and a while.'
He turned his full attention back to the woman in front of him when she stretched softly. Heero slipped on one knee beside her and gently lifted the magazine from her face, faintly noting the title was FAMOUS COUPLES AND FAMOUS BREAKUPS-SECRETS OF HOLLYWOOD REVEALED.
Relena's eyes squeezed shut tighter. She let out a soft moan and then stretched again, this time sending her arms above her head and pointing her toes. Heero leaned as close as he dared and whispered in her ear. "Dinner time."
Those eyes shot open. Then they closed languidly again. "Just five more minutes."
Heero, instead of giving her 'five more minutes', deftly picked her up in his arms and started to stride around the pool. Relena wriggled. "Heero, let me go!"
He smirked, stopping. She looked up at him in mock defiance. "I can walk myself, you know."
"Alright," he said. Then he dropped her.
It didn't go as planned.
Relena let out a surprised cry (not knowing that he was dropping her over the edge of the pool) and grabbed at his tank top. This over turned Heero, and they both went tumbling in the pool.
Heero sputtered up, his hair plastered over his eyes, and sprayed water from his mouth. Relena came up looking very abashed, and quickly disentangled her legs from his.
"Sorry," she said, her voice full of concern. Relena peeped up at him, then burst out laughing. "Heero, you look like a wet cat!"
Slowly drawing the hair out of his face, he growled at her. "You don't look much better yourself." In truth, he thought she looked as beautiful as ever.
She just laughed. "It's your fault, you know. You shouldn't have??"
And then he caught her and dunked her cleanly. She came up sputtering. "??done that."
With strong, thin hands, Relena grabbed at the back of his head. Finding the hair there to be slick, she pulled them to a more secure position: behind his neck. Trying to wriggle away from his grasp, she finally realized she was in it, and that they were both in uncompromising positions.
Not quite sure what else to do now, Heero just looked down at her, liking intensely the feel of her hands around his neck. They moved a moment, seeming unsure, but it sent a very pleasant sensation traveling through his body to feel the tight muscles there work out.
She caught his gaze, and Relena's eyes widened. There was something in his stare (and in his grasp) that made her feel very warm and fuzzy on the inside. She smiled and leaned upward, tilting her head back and closing her eyes.
Heero, stared just a second, and realized exactly what she was inviting him to do. And he did it with great pleasure.
"So this is where you've been??" Noin's voice stopped as the figures came into focus.
The two continued kissing in the pool in front of her, oblivious to anything besides each other.
Zechs just stared. Then he looked defeated. "Now I know why she hides so much."
El fin...
Well, love it, hate it? R&R and let me know. Notice the cat comparison? What's wrong with me?!
