Okay, no one has won D2 yet. D3 hasn't started accepting submissions. Only one category in D2 was voting, and I'm setting that up tomorrow.
List of excuses for delay of judging: Rose got sent to the UK for almost 3 weeks at the last minute, right around the time when she started arranging the judging. When I got back, the DAY after I got back, I was in a car accident that left me battling insurance people for the last 8 weeks straight. Add to that the fact I started a new job... Had 5 girls down for Labor Day weekend, then the fanzine deadline Oct 1.
Yes, *I* am the hold up on that, and it is me alone. Loyce and Cheryl have been helping me play catch up over the last couple of weeks to get us prepared. All I have to do is announce the voting strategy and make the first judging assignments. Assuming my judges haven't all deserted me.
As for how the contest works... I usually try to keep submissions open for at least 3 months. We run, I believe, 10 categories. There's an announcement in the Contest forum with this year's rules and regs.
The winners of D1... Well, many of them became Featured Authors when we migrated the site over to a forum interface. The 1st contest was run on the old webhost using the old format of Rose updates everything herself while trying not to get beaten to death for not writing her fics. *ahem* There's a reason why writers aren't webmasters. *whistles and looks at ceiling* There was a page up on the old server. I've been meaning to get all that moved to this one. It's not really been a high priority, however.
Thanks and let me know if you need more info!
