Curiosity regarding your opinion(s) on Akito

I was rewatching an episode of FB the other day in which Akito was a part. I forget the episode specifically but it's where he shows up to the school.

I was just wondering what everyone who've seen the show feel and/or think about him.

I'll save my opinion for later so I don't bore you with it.

So please, have at it with that loveable man Akito.

Hmm, Akito eh? (wow this was posted a while ago) I dunno... for some reason, i like Akito, and his character. I don't really know what to say about him, because i haven't read the manga, and i have only watched the anime entirely, once. Hmm, *ponders* i guess i like his character most, cause there is an air of mystery about him, cause as far as i have watched, i don't yet know what happened in his child hood, what his part of the curse is, and things like that. I think i may like him because he provides interesting twists to the plot(s) (and that isn't even including Fanfics) ...(like the one you will be writing, right? heh, just kidd'n) and in that i personally think he could change (and that Tohru could be the one to change him, tho i doubt that would happen in the anime/manga) and with that change be brought out the mystery of him, and what he may 'really be like' Hey is this making any sense?

Akito is a very complicated character. There have been allegations that he's one or all of the following: Psychotic, sadistic, bastard, gay, woman-hater, abusive, very sick (not just physically), spoiled, possessive etc.

in short, not a very lovable person.

Personally, I think akito's a very, very unlikable character, but that doesn't mean he's pure evil.

In vol. 11 of Fruits Basket, Akito's true identity is revealed. He's the "GOD" to the Jyuunishi. The jyuunishi is so strongly bonded to him that it's almost impossible for them to defy Akito.

He's probably the 'figurative' head of the clan, since I don't see Akito running the Souma business.

According to Kazuma, the bond between Akito and the jyuunishi is strong, but for those who aren't cursed, like Kazuma, Akito is a spoiled brat.

I think he's very, very shrewd. He can perceive other people's weaknesses and exploit or manipulate it to his advantage. He did it with Yuki, he did it with Kyou, and even with Hatori. He knows were it hurts the most.

He's also possessive of the Jyuunishi. He told Tohru (this is in vol. 11) that after graduation, he's going to sort of claim the jyuunishi, so that they could be together forever, and Tohru can NEVER be part of it.

Well, that's been a long one. Akito is very beautiful, by the way.

Aye, i wonder.... I was just thinking, it would be kinda cool to read a fic about Akito, and what his life was like, or maybe even better, a fic where things were different and Akito hadn't ended up the head of the family, but that someone else had, and he just played a different part. I wonder what he'd be like...

akito creeps me out with his sickly soft voice and the power he has over the juunishi.

but i do feel sorry for him. and yeah, the guy IS sexy.
