This is time travel with a twist.

Somewhere, in Japan, in the 18 or 19th century....
"Kenshiiin! Where are you?" Kaoru called as Yahiko and the little girls came up to eat the dinner she had prepared for everyone. Sanosuke and Kenshin came up next to them huriedly."Here we are, that we are."
"About time Kenshin, Yahiko was about to pounce on Kaoru's feast for us." Megumi said sarcastically.
"Hey!"
They all laughed. Sano drank deeply of sake with Megumi while Yahiko entertained the girls and gramps. Kaoru and Kenshin ate quietly, oblivious to the gathering storm.
Then a harsh gust of wind blew straight in their faces. "Hey, that storm came up pretty fast Kenshin," Sano said as he stood up, now sober. Kenshin nodded, but he was helping Kaoru with the food. Gramps helped too. Megumi and Yahiko ushered the girls to the house. However, the storm then changed direction and blew even harder.
"Kaoru! Get evryone under the tree!" Kenshin hollered as Sano and he grabbed the girls. Megumi started to fly off the ground but Sano got her under his other arm. Gramps grabbed the girls as Kenshin and Sano got close.
"Kenshin!" Yahiko cried as he planted his boken into the ground to keep him from flying up.
"Sano! Stay with Megumi and Ms. Kaoru!" He jumped over to where Yahikp was and dug in with his feet. 'This storm is very strange.'
When everyone was under the tree it seemed to them that the storm got even worse. The tree started to pull up out of the ground. Its roots strained from the pressure. The girls were screaming in panic. Then, the tree gave in to the wind.
"KENSHIIINN!!!" Kaoru screamed when they were lifted higher and higher into the sky.

Somewhere in the sanq kingdom....
"Hey Heero? Where do you think the doctors went to this time?" Duo casually asked as they walked into the Preventer HQ.
"Hopefully, Hell."
"Wrong, Mr. Yuy. Didn't you know? We'll outlive you before we get that far." J chuckled as he came up behind his old trainee.
"Hm."
Duo and Heero walked into Une's office minute before the other preventer agents came in.
"Ah, there you are. Good, now we can start. This week will be Relena Darlain's birthday celebration."

You got my attention! Judging at the title I thought it was for sure an AU, but I'm glad it isn't because I have never read a crossover like this before... Oh, I can't wait to see what happens! So many possibilities! Please post the next chappie soon!
