Has anyone out here read Mars? I would really like to know!

I read translations of it awhile back before it was released. Didn't seem too bad of a series, alot of turmoil that the characters go through but it seems to prevail. Its been so long since I actually went back to check it out again.

It's one of my favorite mangas right now. *sighs happily while hugging issue 11* The story is great and the characters are awesome! They can't release this fast enough for me.

I love MARS!!! It is definitely one of the most gripping shoujo manga there. I also found a site that had the summaries of all the volumes. But don't ask about the site, since it was a long time ago. I have all the volumes that had been released. Only three more to go and it'll be finished. I think that Fuyumi Soryo's new manga is Eternal Sabbath. I also learned that Mars had a prequel, which is a short story with other short stories in a tankoubon. It isn't licensed, but it has been scanlated so that I can read it in English. Other works by Soryo is Doll, which is also being scanlated. (Since I can't read Japanese, I find scanlations the best sources, with the exception of licensed manga.) As a last note, Kira and Rei are one of the best couples out there.

Yeah it does. The tankoubon is called Mars Gaiden. It has two other short stories (I think) along with the short story relating to Mars. I want it to be translated so that my Mars collection would be complete.
