Weird dream, weird day (chapter 1/?)

Good!! So you decided to read my story. I`m warning you that this is my first fic. I`ll try my best to please you guy`s. Please review this and tell me what you think, Flames or not I don`t care.

Chapter 1



The prophet



The alarm clock goes off and a young girl knocks the infernal box off the night stand.

?Another day at my boring job again? she says looking at the grey clouds outside her window.

?Relena, time to get up dear or you?ll be late again!!? She hears her mother upstairs.

? Ya ya I?m up already. Sheesh what a day this will be.?



After taking a shower, brushing her dirty blond waist lenth hair, puting on her favorite navy cargo pants, white t-shirt and eating a good breakfast consisting of 2 toast with butter and orange juice, she takes her summer coat and is ready for a horrible 45 minutes drive to work. She works as a customer service clerk for a respectable software distributor. On the way there, she stops at the gas station to see her boyfriend. They have been together fo 4 years but things were getting complicated. She felt like they were going on seperate roads. The passion that was there before was just....well....gone.

? Hey sweety. What? No smile for me this morning?? He says to his Angel.

? I can?t stay too long but I wanted to see you before I went to work. We never know with all those crazy drivers out there.?

? Men I hate it when you say things like that!!!?

?You know nothing will happen to me. I?m always carefull when I?m driving.? She kisses her boyfriend and leaves the shop to get to work. On her way there she tinks about what they said to each other , being carefull and all, and remembers the dream she had the night before.

She?s standing on a platform in the middle of the forest. There?s people praying or chanting something in a language she doesn?t understand. All of a sudden there?s shadows mounted on big black horses that advances from the end of the crowd. Slashing there way threw the people with there swords. She can hear the people crying out and sees them falling down agonizing in their blood. And then, one of the horsemen approches her with his sword in front of him. He stops in front of the platform looking at her with calculating cobalt eyes and

...she wakes up. She had some weird dreams before but this is ridiculous. ?I think I read too much of Miliardo?s books or something.? What did it mean? It?s with these thoughts that Relena got to work.

At break time she goes outside by herself to eat her snack at the picninc table. Alone again with her thoughts. Suddenly, before she ever got to her favorite spot, the winds pick up and she?s pushed against the wall of the building. The windsare so strong, she can barely move a foot to get inside. She tries to scream but at that moment she sees a whole forming in front of her on the ground. Panic in her heart she can?t do anything and then the wind stops. With all the force she was using against the wind, when it finally stops, she falls right in to the whole that swallows her up and closes. She knows she?s falling and can?t do squat about it. She knows she?s going to hit the bottom hard. She closes her eyes and says her goodbyes to the family and friends she knows, and welcomes the dark.

Somewhere in a thick forest we see five men. All dress in black garment crouching, hiding from a group of monks. One man with long braided hair looks to his right.

?Heero, you really believe what that priestess said? That some prophet will just show up here and make everything right again? What if it?s some kind of trick from that witch Dorothy?? A young men dressed in a black cloak with a braid sticking out says.

?Duo!!! Just shut up or they?ll hear us?

? Wufei, just leave him alone? says a small blond not to far from them. He feels a hand on his shoulder and turns to see his long time friend Trowa get back from his scouting. Trowa leaves Quatre to go and tell their leader what he saw. Heero sees the young green eye men approach him but still keeps an eye on what?s going on in the clearing up ahead.

?Tell me.? Says Heero in his monotone voice.

?There?s a necromencer among them. If what the priestess said is true, we have to get the prophet out of here as soon as the ceremony starts. If Treize gets his hands on her we? re in for more then we can handle.?

? Alright then. Get on your horses everyone and get ready. On my signal, unleash hell? Everyone nods and gets back to where they left their horses. Heero looks back one last time making sure his plan will work. If not, they could say good bye to the freedom and peace they live in.

When she opens her eyes again she can see the moon and stars up in the sky. ?Urgh, I?m still alive???? Then she hears it. The chanting all over again. She stands up and realizes she?s on the same platform from her dream. Torches at the four corners to light up against the dark woods that surrounds the small clearing. ?No...this can?t be real? I must of hit my head pretty hard. That or I?m dreaming.? She sees a men dressed with a blood red cloak, chanting in a foreing language lifting a fist at her and stepping closer. Before he can reach the first step, screams of warriors are heard and the massacre starts. At fast speed, the monks fall down one after the other. Some with arrows peircing there bodies others with blades of swords. ?It?s the same? she wispers to herself. Before she can say or do anything the horsemen with piecing blue eyes is in front of her. Cerulean eyes looking at the sword coming up to her. ?Come with me prophet? she hears him say. She doesn?t want to stick around to find out how sharp that blade is. She steps back, turns around, jumps down the platform and runs in to the cover of the trees.



Heero sees her move but can?tget to her fast enough to grab her hand and she slips away. ?This is not good? ?Raiders!!! Let?s go!!!! Hearing their leader, the other four men leave their victims to their own faith and ride in the woods knowing that the plan went wrong. Relena runs like she never did. She can?t here anyone behind her but still she runs to get as far as possible. The forest is dense but she manages to get to a clearing. She stops to take a breather. Then, she sees that men coming out of the woods not to far away. She starts running with the knowledge that she can?t out run a horse. But still, she runs at top speed. She can hear other horses from behind coming to help that guy but she doesn?t turn around to see how many. At that moment, Heero rides his horse at a fast pace to catch up. When he?s close, he jumps down and throws himself at her legs. Relena falls down but was not about to let her captor get the better of her. It?s at that time that he let?s go of her. Seing the opportunity, she kicks him in the stomach catching him of guard and starts to run again. But her escape is stop short. She forgot about the other wariors. They surounded her and were blocking any possible escape. ?Well, that didn?t go as planned? trying to figure out how she can get out of this mess.



AN: So??? Bad, good, please review and tell me. If it?s bad thanks for telling me and I?ll go back to reading instead of trying to write something.

HI there i really like the idea in this story it reminds me of a similair fic called Forever Warriors - that was unfortunately never finished - at least to the best of my knowledge - so my advice - please keep writing,

Nice fic! I like the whole deam turning real thing you've got going on here. A good AU with mystical undertones is hard to find!!

I agree with aku_ryo, although I never read the other fic, you have to finish this one! Too many people start writing really great fic's and then just never finish them! It's cruel to those of us that read them!

*nods nods* I noticed a similarity, too, but I think it's a completely different time frame than Forever Warriors.

I actually talked with Carebear the other night. She hasn't abandoned A Weekend to Remember, she's just been busy with grad school. She's hoping to have a chapter or two out before the end of the summer.
