Chapter 6



"Cathy, you ready yet?" Trowa called to her room.

She came out of her room with her suitcase, "Ready."

Trowa and Catherine packed their car and headed to the shuttle dock. Dorothy, Trowa girlfriend, was going to meet them on the shuttle to Earth. Relena asked them to come two days early so they could shop for dresses together. Catherine was excited; she hadn’t seen Relena or Sally before and she couldn’t wait to see Hilde again. Of course, she couldn’t wait to sees the man she loved.

The flight went by faster than Catherine thought it would. Dorothy and her caught up on what was happening in their lives, since they last talked two weeks ago. Surprisingly, Dorothy Catalonia and Catherine were best friends. Dorothy had fought with Quatre at the end of the war, and she stabbed him with her fencing sword. Dorothy changed her war loving ways ever since she started dating Trowa. Catherine and Dorothy have been close friends since then.

When the shuttle landed on Earth, Quatre was waiting for them. As soon as Catherine saw him she dropped her bags and ran up to Quatre. He grabbed her and spun her around in a circle, and when he put her down he gave her a quick kiss.

"They make a cute couple," Dorothy commented.

"Yeah, its about time they got together," Trowa said eyeing the couple.

Quatre and Catherine walked up to the other couple hand-in-hand. "Hey guys," Quatre said.

"Hey," Trowa said.

"Hello," Dorothy commented.

"Are you guys ready? If you are I will take you to Relena’s," Quatre said. He led them to his rental car.

When they turned the corner and Relena’s house came into view, Catherine was in shock. She never saw such a huge house. After overcoming the shock, she saw a young woman standing outside. She had honey blonde hair and blue eyes that had a slight tint of green.

"That’s Relena," Quatre said, turning off the car. They all piled out of the car.

"Hello," Relena Peacecraft said. She gave everyone a hug and then led them into her house.

Inside Catherine was introduced to everyone. Sally Po, a young woman with light brown hair, gave her a warm hug. Heero Yuy, Relena’s Japanese boyfriend, nodded his head. Sally’s Chinese boyfriend, Chang Wufei responded the same way. Duo and Hilde both gave her a hug.

Dorothy and Catherine were led to the area that all the girls would be staying. Catherine’s room was absolutely gorgeous. Her bed had a canopy that went with the color scheme of sea green. There was a note on her pillow. It asked Catherine to join the girls for a shopping spree for the upcoming ball, compliments of Relena.

Catherine grabbed her purse and headed to find the others. She met Sally on her way down. "You gonna come with us?" Sally asked. She was finishing braiding her hair in pigtails as she walked down the hallway.

"Yeah, I wouldn’t miss it."

"Good. I believe we are the last ones."

"Hey guys wait up," Dorothy called. She jogged down the hallway. Her long blond ponytail was swaying behind her.

"I guess I was wrong. We aren’t the last ones," Sally said.

The three met Relena and Hilde down in the living room. All of them went to the local mall. Relena led them into a shop dedicated to dresses.

"Here Hilde, look at this dress," Relena said. She handed Hilde a blood red dress.

"I’ll go and try it on." Hilde went into the nearest dressing room.

"Cathy how does this look?" Dorothy asked. She had a long pale yellow gown, which was form fitting from her small waist up. The top was designed like a halter top with a large heart cut out in to middle of the top, revealing just enough. The bottom flowed freely to the floor.

"Trowa will love it!"

"Great. I’ve found my dress."

Hilde emerged from her dressing room in the dark red dress Relena gave her. It clung provocatively to all of her body. The top was low cut and was held up by thin straps that crossed in the back.

"That’s perfect Hilde. Try it with these shoes." Relena tossed Hilde a box. Inside was a pair of heeled matching red sandals. When Hilde put them on she grew a few inches.

"Great, now maybe I won’t stain my neck looking up at Duo."

"All right Sally let’s get you and Catherine a dress," Relena said. "What color do you want Sally?"

"I have no idea. What do you think?"

"Try this." Relena handed Sally a dark lavender dress. "How about you Cathy?’

"I don’t care."

"Okay, here." Catherine took the black dress and went into the dressing room.

"What about you Relena?" Dorothy asked.

"I don’t know."

"I think light blue is your color." Hilde said looking through the racks.

"Here, what about this one?" Dorothy handed a light blue dress to Relena.

"I’ll try it."

Sally came out of the dressing room in her dark lavender dress. The top had a slight shimmer to it. It was a strapless straight neckline, showing a lot of skin. The bottom was loose with a black overlay exposing only the lavender material in the middle.

"Oh Wufei would love that," Hilde said.

Sally blushed then said, "That’s a good thing. Thanks." She went back into the dressing room to get out of the dress.

Catherine waltzed out in her tight black dress. The dress had a very small "v" line connected to spaghetti straps. There was a slit that stopped above mid thigh on each side of the dress. When she walked her tan legs were exposed.

"I like, and I know Quatre will like it. Unfortunately, in that Trowa may not let you go," Dorothy said giggling.

"Oh really," Catherine said. Her eyes sparkled with mischief.

Relena came out looking beautiful. The top of the light blue gown covered only one shoulder. It went straight down to the floor with one slit on the left side. This slit stopped at about her mid thigh.

"Whoa, Princess Relena looking sexy," Hilde said to an embarrassed Relena.

"Hilde," Relena hissed. She then smiled. "You think Heero will like it?"

"Definitely."

After everyone was dressed in their original clothes, Relena surprised them all by buying their dresses. Everyone, but Hilde went to find matching shoes. They left the store anxious for the ball.

Dorothy, Trowa girlfriend,

Whoa! That was a surprise! Not that it's a bad surprise! Seems like you've switched everything up! You've got Trowa with Quatre's normal partner and Quatre with Trowa's (for those who refuse to see them as brother and sister that is) "partner." Really cool little mixup there!

Awwww, how sweet!!

No da! Someone's stating the obvious!!

"Hello," Relena Peacecraft said. She gave everyone a hug and then led them into her house.

I don't know...but if someone I had just met came and gave me a hug I'd be kinda freaked out. Too much kindness there on Relena's behalf.
And then it happens again with Sally...that would really make me feel awkward.

Definitely like the outfits...our boys are in for a rough ride *evil grin*
