Prologue
The continuous breaking of the waves and the intermittent calling of the gulls were pleasant sounds to hear at sunset, she decided. Coupled with the beauty of the sinking sun and the caressing heat of the air, the isolated beach was a world away from the harsh, fluorescent-lighted scene she?d been in a scant nine hours before. Hard to believe that this place was only a short, forty-five minute drive from where she?d been.
Letting her eyelids slide blissfully to half-mast, Relena watched those whom she had secretly dubbed as ?her guys? set up the swing hammock. With a sweating glass of iced tea at her elbow and situated beneath the shade of a palm tree, she had to agree that their preposterous plan to ?kidnap? her person was one that might have merit. A half-smile curled her lips as she remembered that morning:
Relena opened the door to her office in one slow, unhurried movement, eyes set on her dragging feet. She wanted to delay the beginning of her day as long as possible. What?s the hurry when she knew she wouldn?t be leaving the building for another eight hours anyway?
Relena closed her door with a soft push, hearing the click of the lock like a death sentence. It hadn?t helped that the drive on the way to work advertised that the majority of the day would be sun, sun, sun. Maybe a bit of rain later on, but what mattered was that she?d miss the sun and probably catch the rain on the way home.
?Damn the long hours,? she muttered, leaning her forehead against the door. She resolutely kept her face pressed to the wood until she heard the voice. It was heavy with sarcasm.
?We agree.?
Spinning around in surprise, Relena uttered a gasp of complete shock when she found herself the centre of attention of five young men. All had their arms crossed and bore the same determined expression.
?W-what are you doing here?? she asked. She rather hoped that they?d take that as a rhetorical question, though she doubted that they would. Four of the five men stood around the wing-backed leather chair she used at her desk, while the fifth sat calmly in its seat. Violet eyes narrowed mischievously at her as an engaging smile revealed straight white teeth.
?Isn?t it obvious, Princess? We?re here to take you on a vacation.?
Relena laughed quietly to herself, remembering with fondness how her guys tactfully cornered her and swung her up and over their friend Trowa?s shoulder. She hadn?t really given much of a protest, but she guessed that on the off chance that she had, Trowa had the honour of toting her around like a sack of potatoes because he was the tallest. The taller he was, the less of a chance Relena would be able to squirm down to the ground and beat a hasty retreat.
Guess they gave this a lot of thought, she mused, sipping her iced tea.
Such thoughts drifted aimlessly through her head until Chang Wufei wandered into her field of vision. Or rather, with Relena lying supine beneath the tree, his feet did.
Staring at the large, tanned feet, Relena suddenly heard the voice of her friend Hilde inside her head. The whispering voice told of a certain old wives? tale. She couldn?t remember all of it but tried as she stared at the feet, eyes taking in the neatly cut toenails.

Relena?s right eyebrow shot straight up as her cheeks flamed crimson. Oh yeah. That?s how it ended.
Smiling a secret smile, Relena let her eyes wander up the feet to where strong ankles met sculpted calves.
Hm, she thought. Relena rolled onto her side. A chance to watch the guys without them knowing ? their plan did have merit?
Notes: I think I need to make something clear: Relena's essentially gonna go to town on all the GW guys. Although she's not really paired up with anyone, she will be letting go of her inhibitions and taking a look at each of the guys as - well, as guys.
You know, like, "Gee, I never noticed that Wufei's got an ass I'd like to munch on."
